William slowly opened the door to the office to see Lord Connelly inside. Respectably, he smiled a bit and replied,

"Hello, sir. I hope I am not interrupting you from anything but Stacey wanted me to ask YOU if she has gotten any new mail recently."

Lord Connelly was surprised to see William but nodding respectfully, he replied, "Of course. Most of the mail is junk but there are a couple of important letters. Let me go check."

He shifted through some envelopes on his desk and finally took out a couple of them. Handing them to William, he said, "These are for Stacey. I trust that you'll give them to her."

William nodded and taking the letters from Lord Connelly, he replied, "Of course, sir. I will make sure of that. If you'll excuse me then."

He bowed politely then left the office and went to go get his payment.

Lord Connelly resumed his work after William had left his office.

Meanwhile, Mark waited near the storage shed for William so that they could pick up their weekly payment from Bill, who was giving them to the workers waiting in line.

William returned to where Mark was waiting for him and then said, "We can go now. I am all done."

Mark nodded and led the way to the line of workers waiting to pick up their paychecks from Bill. While waiting, Mark asked,

"What'd you do while I was waiting?"

William replied, "Nothing too important. Stacey asked me to pick up her mail from Lord Connelly, so that's what I did."

Mark replied, "Aye, I see."

He was curious to know why Stacey had asked William to pick up her mail but then didn't want to seem too nosy about the matter so he let it drop.

The line was getting shorter and after a little while, Mark picked up his payment from Bill. Then Mark stepped aside so that William could pick up his payment.

Bill checked which envelope belonged to William and finding it, he handed it to him and said, "Here's your payment for the week. It should be correct."

William took the envelope from Bill and replied, "Thanks, sir."

He then went to where Mark was and said, "Ahh the week is now officially over."

Mark nodded happily and replied, "It sure is. I'm looking forward to this weekend. Hey, maybe we might bump into each other."

Meanwhile, Stacey had finished the chores at the hut and was now busy preparing dinner for herself and juice for William.

William shrugged and replied, "Maybe. I should get going now before it begins to get dark. I'll see you when the chance comes then."

Mark replied, "All right then. Have a good weekend, mate."

He waved goodbye to William and then left the construction site, heading for his house. He was pretty tired from work and wanted to go home, have a nice dinner, and relax.

William left after Mark had left, heading towards the hut. He was carrying his payment as well as the couple of mails for Stacey. Soon enough, he arrived at the hut and opened the door to enter inside.

As Stacey was busy preparing dinner in the kitchen, she heard the front door open and then close. Halting her work, she stepped out of the kitchen for a moment and seeing that William had returned, she greeted him with a warm smile and said,

"Welcome home, William. Dinner will be ready in a little bit."

William nodded and then approaching Stacey, he handed her the couple of mails and replied,

"Your uncle said these arrived for you."

Stacey took the mail from William and replied, "Thank you, William. Now why don't you go relax in the living room and I'll call you when everything's ready? I'm sure you could use the rest and I'd love to hear about your day."

She returned to the kitchen and after briefly looking at her mail, she placed it on a kitchen counter and resumed dinner preparations.

William meanwhile went to sit on the coach and rest a little. He felt a bit tired but not too weak, and he just needed some good rest.

Stacey had decided to prepare an Italian dinner tonight so she made spaghetti and meatballs along with some garlic bread. It took a bit of time but everything was done and Stacey plated the food and placed it on the table. Then she made grape juice for William and herself and poured it into two glasses. After placing the glasses on the table, she briefly checked everything and satisfied, she called out to William,

"Dinner's all ready."

William got up then and went to the kitchen where Stacey has prepared dinner. He took his seat but didn't say anything as he didn't find anything to say.

Stacey took her seat and then proceeded to eat dinner. As she wished to break the silence, she said,

"How was work today, William? Anything out of the ordinary happen?"

William began drinking his juice and replied to Stacey, "No, not really. Good progress on the inn but nothing new to mention otherwise."

Stacey nodded and replied, "Oh I see. So have any plans this weekend? I'm sure you're looking forward to a day off from work. The weather is supposed to be very beautiful, perfect for the outdoors."

William nodded and replied, "Yeah, I have a thing in mind. I was thinking about taking Megan tomorrow for fishing. I told her about it a few days ago, and she liked the idea. I think she might enjoy it."

Stacey smiled warmly, for she liked the idea as well. Replying, "That sounds like a wonderful treat for the both of you. I can help Ms. Laura take care of the other children while you take Megan out. I should wake up a little early tomorrow so I can make a picnic lunch for you both. I know you can't eat but I'm sure that Megan will be hungry and I can prepare juice."

William replied, "That would be kind of you. I've got nothing better to do tomorrow than take Megan out, and since I promised her I'd like to stay true to my promise."
