For William: Ok. So tell me the difference then.

William: If it was a crush, wouldn't I have been hesitant to give any sacrifice for her? I wouldn't have been so content doing it, I would regret it at times. But I never regretted it until she back stabbed me.

For William: How did she backstab you?

William: By just forgetting all about me, and marrying another guy, not caring to her promise.

For William: Hold on to that thought. Let me check something.

For Rosaline: When you married Bryan, did you forget about the promise to marry William?

Rosaline: Not really, but really, after three years...I thought I'd never see William again.

For Rosaline: Ahh I see. William thinks that you didn't care about the promise at all but I don't think that's true, is it?

Rosaline: No, that's not what I intended to do. But three years is such a long time, right? I mean, I never meant to hurt him, but I didn't think he would be that persistent.

For Rosaline: Ahh I see. I can understand that. Hold on.

For William: Rosaline didn't think you would be that persistent and who could blame her?

William: Then she shouldn't make promises she can't fulfill later. If one loves another, they are ready to wait forever for them and that's what I did. I fought with all I had to reach her.

For William: Ok, hold on to that thought.

For Rosaline: What do you think about what William just said?

Rosaline: He is right, and I guess it was my wrong to make that promise. I guess I didn't really love William after all, it was just a crush or appreciation for what he was doing for me. But that doesn't give him the right to try to take me forcefully from Bryan.

For Rosaline: Ahh yeah, I agree on that.

For William: What do you think about Rosaline's last comment there?

(phoenix to Love: Looks like I'm indirectly mediating between those two. lol)

William: It doesn't change my opinion of her as an ungrateful one. 'He doesn't have the right to take me forcefully from Bryan', yeah, right. And she definitely doesn't have the right to play with my heart, and make me sacrifice literally everything to just throw me away later like mere trash!

For William: O_O Hold on to that.

For Rosaline: What do you think about what William just said?

Rosaline: I never meant to do that! I just can't marry someone just because he did a lot for me. William isn't a bad guy and without him, I would have been lost for sure, but that is not enough to make me marry him. If he still wants to be friends, I will welcome him more than ever.

For Rosaline: Ok, I agree with you there. Hold on.

For William: What do you think about what Rosaline said?

William: You really have asked me that a lot now, you know. I am not changing my mind, or my opinion about her. I haven't done all what I did to her just so that we become friends. She promised to marry me, not to befriend me again.

For William: So do you really think that you would have been happy if Rosaline had gone through marrying you, even if that didn't make her happy?

William: Why wouldn't it make her happy? Wasn't she happy with me all that time? Wasn't she the one who accepted my marriage proposal so happily?

For William: Ok, hold on.

For Rosaline: When you were with William, were you happy with him, especially when you accepted his marriage proposal? Do you think you would have been happy had you married him?

Rosaline: I can never say I wasn't happy with William. He was my closest friend after all even if I didn't love him. And yes, I guess I was happy when he proposed to me but that was only because I thought I loved him. I guess if we had gone with the marriage, I was going to be happy but not in the way I am with Bryan. There would be always something missing, I guess.

For Rosaline: Ahh I see. So in other words, when you're with Bryan, what you feel for him is definitely true love without a doubt?

Rosaline: *nods* No doubt about it.

For Rosaline: Ahh I see. Now that I understand. ^^
