For William: Well, Bryan is kind, understands Rosaline well and knows about the pain that she suffered and helped her to be well again. Rosaline saw the personable traits of Bryan and fell in love with him because of them.

I'm trying to say that Rosaline and Bryan connected on a deep spiritual, emotional level. Rosaline even gave Bryan the necklace that her first love had given her.
