Megan asked, "Do you like spicy food? Have you tried curry? Stacey makes the best curry when she'd visit the orphanage and cook it for all of us."

Bryan nodded and replied, "Ok, that sounds good. Let's meet back here in about 30 minutes if neither of us have found or heard any news about them then."

William shook his head and turning his head to Stacey, he slyly replied,

"Nope, I haven't tried that yet but pretty, I'm hurt. You didn't tell me you could cook such delicious curry. How could you not feed me that, huh?"

Avi nodded and replied, "Sounds good."

He then ran off to search for Alex and Nerine in the different castle rooms. Meanwhile, Rosaline turned to Bryan and said, "We should get going too. They might be in the gardens or at least, one of the soldiers saw them or something."

Stacey looked slyly back at William and replied, "I didn't know if you like spicy food, handsome, but if so, I'll definitely cook it for you and Megan when we return home. It's one of my best dishes."

Megan nodded and added, "It's very hot and spicy but the best curry I've eaten."

Bryan nodded and replied, "Ok. Let's go to the gardens first. They might have gone there."

He held Rosaline's arm and led the way out of the castle and headed towards the gardens.

William chuckled and replied, "I am definitely interested. I don't usually eat such spicy food but I'd be up for it if my pretty Stacey is the one who cooks it."

Rosaline followed Bryan out of the castle and to the gardens. They walked there, making sure to look around carefully. However, there wasn't any sign or Nerine nor Alex.

As they continued looking around, Rosaline turned to Bryan and said, "I'm getting worried about them. Where could they have run off to?"

Stacey blushed and replied, "Sure, I'd be very happy to cook it for my handsome William."

Megan cheered and replied, "Yays! I can't wait to have curry again."

Bryan shook his head and looking worried himself, he replied, "I have no idea, my love, but we know that they wouldn't leave the castle grounds. I doubt they could anyway after that encounter with the chancellor earlier. Let's keep looking and if we don't find them, we'll have to hope that Avi does."

William smiled and replied, "I can't wait to taste it either. So tell me, is this curry some sort of food widely eaten in Lessire? I don't think I even heard of it before."

Rosaline nodded and they continued looking around, although to no avail.

Meanwhile, Avi looked around some castle rooms although he had no luck. Then thinking that he hadn't searched in the most obvious choice, he headed to Nerine's and Alex's room. Hoping to find someone in there, he knocked on the door.

Stacey replied, "It isn't a local food in Lessire. Quite the opposite, actually. It's an exotic dish, usually found in the desert regions of the human world. But I learned how to cook it from one of the chefs when I was little. They were quite good at cooking a variety of food from many regions."

Meanwhile, Alex continued to sleep peacefully in his and Nerine's room, despite the knock on their door. He wrapped his arms closer to Nerine as he slept and murmured,

"I love you, darling. Please don't leave me."

William nodded in understanding and replied, "That's nice. It's useful to know how to cook different plates from different regions of the world, really. And I bet you're so good at cooking them, too."

He winked romantically at Stacey.

Unlike Alex, however, the knock startled Nerine and snapped her out of sleep. Seeing Alex still asleep and realizing that someone was knocking at the door, she quickly got out of bed and opened the door to Avi, who was quite relieved to see her.

He smiled to her and said, "Nerine! I'm glad to see you here. You and Alex left so suddenly earlier. Are you guys ok?"

Nerine nodded to him and quietly replied, "Yeah, don't worry, Avi. Sorry about that."

Stacey blushed and shyly replied, "Aww you're flattering me, handsome."

Megan replied, "But it's true. You're a great cook, Stacey, the best ever."

Stacey blushed deeper although she didn't make another comment.

Meanwhile, Bryan and Rosaline continued to search around for any signs of Nerine or Alex but to no avail. Finally, Bryan turned to Rosaline and said,

"Perhaps we should return to the music room. Maybe Avi has some news?"

William nodded happily and replied, "That's definitely true."

He continued rowing the boat around the sea near the shore.

Rosaline nodded and replied, "I hope he had better luck than we did."

She followed Bryan back to the music room. Meanwhile, Avi finished talking to Nerine and went to the meeting spot to let Bryan and Rosaline know that he found Nerine and Alex.

Nerine, on the other hand, saw that Alex was still sleeping so not wishing to disturb him, she went to the window and spent the time looking out at the gardens.

Megan looked to William and asked, "When can we have your cooking, William?"

Stacey looked slyly at William and added, "Megan has a good point. It's been a while since we've had your cooking."

Bryan escorted Rosaline back to the music room and saw that Avi was already there. Hurrying to him, Bryan asked, "Did you have any luck?"

Meanwhile, Alex continued to sleep peacefully and reached out to hug Nerine but finding her not by his side, he unconsciously murmured,

"Darling, where are you? Don't leave me."

William blushed and replied, "Aww whenever you want, really, but it's not really that much of good cooking anyways."

Avi nodded to Bryan and replied, "Yup, I did. They were in their room. I think they wanted to talk privately or something but they're ok now."

Meanwhile, Nerine was thoughtfully looking outside when she heard Alex murmuring in his sleep, wondering where she was. Although she wondered why he would be dreaming about her in the first place, she got up and approaching him, she gently stroked his hair and whispered,

"I'm right here, Alex. I'm not leaving you."

Megan shook her head and replied, "That can't be true. Your cooking must be wonderful because you're wonderful."

Stacey winked at William and replied, "Megan has another good point there."

Bryan sighed and replied, "That's a relief. Did you observe how things were between them?"

Meanwhile, Alex felt Nerine stroking his hair and slowly, he opened his eyes. He gazed at Nerine and wrapping his arms around her, he said,

"I had a terrible nightmare. It was horrible."

William blushed even deeper and replied, "Aww alright, alright, if you like it so much, how can I refuse? Whenever you want me to cook something for you, I'll be more than happy to do so."

Avi replied, "Well, I didn't see Alex since Nerine told me he was sleeping, but Nerine had her usual quiet demeanor. I'd say things are quiet between them-no trouble at least."

Nerine wondered what nightmare Alex had that had him wake up suddenly and wrap his arms around her. Rubbing his back in comfort, she asked quietly,

"What nightmare did you have?"

Megan cheered and replied, "Yays! I can't wait to eat William's cooking."

Stacey smiled and added, "Same here. It's delicious because it's cooked with love and care."

Bryan nodded thoughtfully and replied, "That's better than getting upset or angry, I suppose. I worry about those two, though."

Alex looked tearfully at Nerine and replied, "It was about you. You ran away from me and there was nothing I could do to bring you back. I don't ever want that nightmare to come true."

He wrapped his arms around Nerine's waist and buried his head on her left shoulder.

William smiled lovingly and replied, "Well, of course I cook it with love and care. I'm cooking for my most precious women in the world so I have to be extra careful handling it."

Avi nodded worriedly and replied, "Me, too, really. Nerine has that quiet, dangerous feeling around her always and umm, that isn't the Nerine I used to know. She used to be much more cheerful and happy. I don't know about Alex but I am sure he isn't having fun with this situation either."

Nerine was surprised as Alex told her about his nightmare and how he feared that she would go away from him, to leave him alone. Was he really feeling that way?

After a few moments of silence, she wrapped her arms around him and stroked his hair lovingly, taking him into her embrace to comfort him. She quietly said,

"Umm it won't ever happen. I promise I will never run away from you, as long as you continue to love me as you say."

Stacey grinned and replied, "That's good to hear although I'm certain that you'd make sure that all our food is yummy and safe to eat."

Megan added, "I trust William completely. He's the best man ever."

Bryan nodded and replied, "Yeah, you're right on both counts. I've tried to help as much as I can and my love has, too, but it's up to them to fix things."

Alex smiled in comfort as Nerine assured him that she wouldn't run away from him. Hugging her softly, he replied,

"I will, darling. I'll always love you and I'll do better in showing you my love."

William replied happily, "I am the luckiest man ever to have the love of such beautiful, wonderful ladies. I love you both so much."

Rosaline nodded and replied, "My love is right about that. This matter should be fixed between them."

Avi nodded in agreement then replied, "Well, we should return to the music room I guess. Lycoris is waiting."

Nerine returned the hug softly but didn't return the smile. She replied quietly, "I hope so."

She paused for a moment then said, "Umm Avi was here earlier. The others were worried about our absence but I told him everything was ok."

Stacey looked lovingly at William and replied, "And we love you so much, handsome."

Megan replied, "Yup! We love William the most ever. No one is better than William."

Bryan nodded and he and Rosaline walked with Avi as they returned to the music room, where Lycoris was waiting.

Alex nodded and after a moment of quiet thinking, he replied, "I guess we did make a scene earlier suddenly leaving that."

William smiled happily and the family continued sailing for a couple of hours, enjoying their time. However, it was approaching lunchtime so William said,

"Perhaps we should get moving now? It's close to lunchtime and we still have to get a picnic basket and go to the resting spot."

The party entered the music room where Lycoris was waiting and Avi approached her, comforting her by saying,

"We're back, Lycoris. We found Nerine and Alex-they're ok."

Nerine nodded and replied, "Yeah. Maybe you shouldn't have followed me like that."

Stacey nodded and replied, "Yup, you're right, handsome. We should make enough time to head back to shore and go to a nearby restaurant to order a picnic basket."

Megan nodded, agreeing as well, so they all steered the boat back towards the beach.

Alex looked hurt over Nerine's reply and quietly said,

"But I was worried about you. I couldn't just stay and not do anything."

Once the family was back to the shore, William made sure the boat was in place then led the way out of the beach and headed to a nearby restaurant in order to request a picnic basket be prepared. Once there, he told Stacey,

"You can take care of ordering the picnic basket, pretty."

Nerine was silent for a moment then turning her gaze away, she quietly replied,

"You shouldn't have worried. I just wanted to be alone for a while, that's all."

Stacey nodded happily and replied, "Sure. I know the perfect assortment of food for a picnic basket."

She talked to the manager of the restaurant and requested a medium-sized picnic basket and she ordered some crab and shrimp sandwiches along with fresh fruit and cans of fruit juice. The manager jotted down the order and then left to take care of it.

Stacey and the others then took a seat on a long bench and Stacey said, "Ok, they should have our picnic basket ready in a bit. I ordered some sandwiches, fruit and juice. I hope that's all right."

All Alex could do was sigh inwardly and reply,

"I'll never stop caring for you, darling, no matter how much pain you're in. You are my life and my soul."

William nodded happily and replied, "That sounds quite delicious actually. This will be quite the picnic we'll have."

Although Nerine should have loved hearing such caring and loving words from Alex, this time, they irritated her. She felt it wasn't real, it wasn't honest, to have Alex suddenly being so caring about her so much when she was used to having him neglecting her.

But she didn't say that, and instead, she nodded and changing the subject, she quietly asked,

"Aside from the nightmare, did you have a good nap?"

Megan replied, "Yup, I agree. That sounds yummy."

Stacey smiled and replied, "Perfect. So after we get our picnic basket, shall we walk to our resting spot?"

Alex nodded and replied, "I feel a little better after that nap. Were you bored watching me the whole time?"

Of course, Alex didn't realize that Nerine had fallen asleep earlier.
