Romance RP

Helena let go of Lisianthus and happily replied, "I'd like that, too."

She turned to the shapeshifter and said, "Ok, let's go."

She was happy that she'd soon be reunited with Nathan.

Anjela nodded and as they went out of the room then downstairs, she said,

"I trust that you'll behave and won't give me any trouble-otherwise, I'll have to bind you or hold you. So let's keep this going smoothly so we can both get what we want."

(Back now from work. ^^)

Helena couldn't help but roll her eyes and replied, "Whatever.  I just want to be back with my Nathan, so unless this is a trick, there's no reason for me to try anything.  Let's get this over with."

Anjela took a frustrated breath and muttered, "I can see why you and the captain would like each other. You're like him."

She led the way downstairs where she saw Ryan and the chancellor. Looking at them, she said,

"The captain agreed to the exchange so I'll have it made and get my mom back."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok, that's good that he agreed.  Do you want some help or are you supposed to make the exchange alone?"

Anjela replied, "The captain wants me alone so I can't take anyone else with me but her. I should come back shortly, in an hour at most. If I don't make it back during that time, then something will have gone wrong."

She turned to Helena and said, "Your captain better not be pulling any tricks. Now let's go."

She motioned to her to move in front of her as they headed outside the house so Anjela would summon a portal to the devils' world.

Helena did as Anjela told her to although she couldn't help but put off by her behavior.  She wished that someone nicer was accompanying her, as it would have made the return trip much more pleasant.  However, Helena just thought about Nathan and that she would soon be back with him.

Anjela and Helena were soon outside, and after taking a deep breath, she summoned a portal to the devils' world, to the place where the exchange should be made.

After the portal was stably summoned, Anjela looked to Helena and said,

"Go in first and I'll go right behind you. Now let me warn you-if your captain had hurt my mom in the slightest way or if he tries to do anything funny, I won't hesitate to hurt you. I don't want to, but right now, you're the only way I can get my mom back."

Helena took a breath and calmly replied, "He will not have hurt her.  I know my Nathan.  He took all precautions this time to make sure of that."

She then went through the portal, just wanting to get back to Nathan as soon as possible.

(I get the feeling that Anjela's not really a girl-girl.  lol)

(Ahh you mean that she's more like a tomboy? Well, she has her soft side although Matthew is probably the only one to have gotten to see it. Other than that, she's still the shapeshifter who the years have hardened and she always has this cold shell around her. And she really doesn't like Helena. XD)

Anjela rolled her eyes and followed Helena into the portal. They were soon teleported to the devils' world, although they were still alone, as obviously, Nathan hadn't arrived yet.

Anjela made sure to take a careful look around, to make sure there were no traps involved.

(Yup, that's what I mean.  And is it because Helena married Nathan or is it something else?  XD)

Helena looked around as well, wondering where Nathan was.  But then she figured that maybe they were early, as she knew that Nathan would get her back.  She missed him terribly and she just wanted to feel his arms around her again.

(Ahh it is because Helena married Nathan or that she defends him at all. Anjela holds a bad grudge against him and believes he's a terrible person and anyone who denies that just doesn't think straight. XD)

Anjela and Helena waited for a few minutes, but then a portal appeared a small distance away, and Nathan and Lady Penelope appeared. Lady Penelope had magical chains binding her hands to make sure she wasn't able to use magic but other than that, she appeared alright.

Nathan's expression was angry but it softened upon seeing Helena. Anjela was the first one to speak and frowning slightly, she said,

"You kept your word? Strange. I was honestly preparing myself for a trick."

(I see.  XD)

Helena smiled softly at Nathan, happy to see him.  She then looked at Anjela and said,

"See?  My Nathan is an honorable man.  I told you he wouldn't hurt Lady Penelope.  Really, you should apologize for even thinking such horrible thoughts about him."

Anjela was frustrated by Helena's words and almost angrily, she snapped at her, "Shut up before I change my mind about hurting you. You two deserve each other."

Nathan then turned to Anjela and frowning, he said, "Hand her back, Anjela and take your mom. I didn't hurt her and I wasn't planning to."

He looked to Lady Penelope, motioning her to move forward and approach her daughter. Lady Penelope looked warily at him for a moment but then she did approach her daughter until she made it back to her safely. Anjela looked worriedly at her and said, "Are you okay, mom? Did he lay a hand on you?"

Lady Penelope shook her head and smiling softly, she said, "I am okay, sweetie."

Anjela nodded then looking to Helena, she said, "Run back to him, throw yourself in that monster's arms. I can't really bear your presence, you know."

Helena frowned at Anjela but didn't say anything to her.  She turned to Lady Penelope and said,

"I'm glad to see that you're free, my lady.  Your daughter really should learn to have better manners, though."

She curtseyed politely to Lady Penelope and then quickly ran back to Nathan, wanting to be in his arms and to get as far away from Anjela as possible.

Lady Penelope sighed to herself and Anjela quickly undid her ties. Meanwhile, Nathan ran to Helena and wrapping his arms around her tightly, he looked at her worriedly and asked,

"Love, are you okay? Did that freak hurt you? Did she dare lay a hand on you?"

Helena shook her head and giving Nathan a comforting smile, she replied,

"No, I'm ok, my Nathan.  She" giving Anjela a quick frown, "was just more rude than anything else but she didn't hurt me.  Everyone else treated me well, though."

(Getting sleepy so I'll get off for the night now but I'll post again tomorrow.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Nathan gave a cold look towards Anjela, and after holding Helena tenderly in his arms for a moment, he gently said, "Wait here a minute, love."

He let go of her and approaching Anjela and Lady Penelope, he said, "Anjela."

Anjela looked at him, and understanding that he wanted to say something, she also approached him slightly. She was waiting for him to say something but instead, he grabbed her roughly and lifted her off her feet, holding her neck tightly. Lady Penelope was alarmed and almost rushed in to interfere, but Anjela gave her a sign to stay back. She looked at Nathan in the eyes, and Nathan looked back coldly at her as he huskily said,

"You'll pay for this dearly, Anjela. I may have given you your mother back, but I'll make you pay quite dearly for laying a hand on my wife and taking her away from me."

Helena looked alarmed as Nathan grabbed Anjela and she was about ready to rush in as well although this time, she'd wait and see what would happen, trusting that Nathan wouldn't harm her.

Anjela felt Nathan's fingers tighten around her neck but she continued looking bravely back at him. She could barely breathlessly reply,

"I'd like to see you try do that, captain."

Nathan continued looking coldly at her and in the same husky tone, he replied, "Oh I will. I'll make you regret you ever decided to betray me one day from the start, freak."

His hold tightened further to the point Anjela was losing proper breathing, but then he roughly let her go, throwing her on the ground at Lady Penelope's feet. She coughed as she regained her breathing and Lady Penelope rushed to her side, while Nathan made it back to Helena and more gently said,

"Ready to go, love? We'll go back home."

Helena nodded and replied, "Yes, I just want to go home.  Fiona, Romeo, and Mindy must be so worried."

She hugged Nathan and waited for him to escort her back to their home.

Nathan wrapped his arms around Helena's waist and rubbed her back comfortingly for a moment, then summoned a portal back to the gods' world and to his mansion, and led the way through it. In the moment he had had with Anjela, he had placed a tracking spell on her. He planned to go after her, make her regret she ever took Helena away, and not to exchange her for Lycoris or anything like that.


Meanwhile, Anjela recovered from having her neck held like that although it still hurt a bit, and after getting back up to her feet, she summoned a portal to the human world, and she and Lady Penelope went through, back to Ryan's place.

Helena followed Nathan as they went through the portal to head back to the mansion.  She was just happy and relieved to be back with Nathan and she held onto him closely, not saying anything.

Meanwhile, Matthew waited in his room back at Ryan's place, hoping that Anjela was ok and that Lady Penelope would be with her.

Anjela and Lady Penelope made it back at Ryan's place and they went inside. They entered the living room where Ryan and the chancellor were, and Lisianthus had joined them. Lisianthus' eyes lit up as they entered and she happily said,

"Oh thank goodness, you're safe and back."


Nathan led the way back inside his mansion, and back towards their room. Inside, Fiona, Romeo and Mindy were waiting anxiously and as soon as the couple entered the room, Fiona flew happily to Helena's shoulder while Romeo barked excitedly, running to her and throwing itself at her feet playfully.

Ryan smiled and bowing to Lady Penelope, he added, "I'm happy to see you're safe, my lady.  I'm sorry about what happened, but I see that your daughter was able to secure your release."

Mindy approached the couple and meowed happily at Helena.  Helena smiled and picked up Romeo in her arms.  She said,

"I missed you all so much.  I bet you guys were so worried."
