Romance RP

Ryan nodded and whispered back, "Yes, I agree.  We mustn't stay much longer."

He looked to Lisianthus and with concern in his eyes, he asked, "Do you think you're ok to summon the portal, beautiful?"

Helena blushed deeply and replied, "And I am madly in love with you, my prince, my soul mate, my one and only true love."

She reached up to gently touch Nathan's cheek, warm to her touch.

Although Lisianthus knew she wasn't, she smiled a bit at Ryan and nodding, she said, 

"Yeah, I'll be fine. We need to make it back after all."

She led the way downstairs quietly so they could leave.

Nathan held Helena close to him and flirtatiously replied,

"I should have kidnapped you a long time ago, don't you think? It's the best thing I've ever done, I believe."

Ryan followed Lisianthus as they went back downstairs although he was still worried about Lisianthus' condition.  He quietly said,

"We could ask Lady Penelope or her daughter to summon the portal for us, if you're not feeling up to it.  You shouldn't push yourself."

Helena nodded happily and replied, "Oh yes, definitely."

She laughed happily, feeling loved and warm in his embrace.

Lisianthus smiled at Ryan and shaking her head, she said, 

"Hey, I am fine. And I don't really want to ask that shapeshifter or Lady Penelope for anything. They can't see me when I am weak and vulnerable."

Meanwhile, the shapeshifter decided to leave Matthew's room for a little bit and check on Lycoris and Alex. She visited their room and knocked on the door, waiting for an answer.

(Ahh maybe we should leave Nathan and Helena aside for a bit, until there's something interesting on their side? I am running out of lovey things to say. lol)

(lol  Ok, that's fine with me.  They'll probably just continue being all lovey dovey with each other.  XD)

Alex heard a knock at the door and getting up, he went ahead and opened it and saw the shapeshifter outside.  He smiled at her and said,

"Hey, come in."

Ryan didn't think it was a bad to show one's weakness but he just nodded and replied, "Ok, but after we get back, you need to rest.  No using magic for the rest of the day unless you absolutely need to."

(Yup. XD)

The shapeshifter smiled a bit at Alex and entered the room. She looked at him and said, "I thought I'd come check on you. How are you doing?"

She glanced at Lycoris to see how she was faring but she didn't look any better.

Lisianthus smiled and nodding, she said, "Ok. Don't worry about that."

They were soon outside and after taking a deep breath, she summoned the portal to the gods' world after casting its spell. She was able to do successfully although she fell to her knees afterwards, her feet unable to carry her weight anymore.

Alex replied, "I'm doing all right."

He gestured his head towards Lycoris, to silently imply that she wasn't getting better.

Immediately, Ryan scooped up Lisianthus in his arms and carried her as they went through the portal.  He said,

"We're going back and I'm carrying you all the way, beautiful.  You need to rest."

The shapeshifter sighed then frowning a bit, she quietly said, 

"Alex, you can't leave her like that. I know you're trying to be gentle with her but sometimes, being harsh is the way to do it. You might have thought I was harsh on you last night but I wouldn't have left you remain in oblivion just so I don't hurt your feelings."

Lisianthus smiled a bit weakly at Ryan and said, "Sorry, cutie. I guess I overdid it with the number of times I summoned that portal."

Alex sighed inwardly and replied, "I-I understand.  I guess I feel like I can't be too harsh on Lycoris.  I mean, I know what she's going through.  And also, I mean, you witnessed what she did yesterday.  What if she does something like that again because she gets upset?  I don't really want to risk that."

Ryan smiled and replied, "It's ok, beautiful.  I was worried that something like this might happen, but you're definitely resting."

The two of them made their way through the portal and back to the gods' world, to the castle.  Ryan continued to carry Lisianthus in his arms inside the castle and upstairs to her room.

The shapeshifter sighed and quietly replied, 

"I understand what you say but if you can't be harsh on her, I can be. I know you're worried about her powers going berserk again and I am, too, leaving her be isn't an answer either. She'll break down sooner or later and who knows? Her breakdown could be more violent then."

Lisianthus held onto Ryan as he carried her all the way back inside the castle then into her room. After he laid her on her bed, she smiled a bit at him and said, 

"I am lucky to have you, you know. I can't imagine what I could have been like if you weren't by my side now."

Alex nodded and replied, "I know.  I guess I'm treating Lycoris like a delicate flower."

He looked over at Lycoris, sitting quietly beside Nerine.

Ryan smiled lovingly at Lisianthus and replied, "I love you so much, Sia.  I'll always be beside you."

He laid down beside her on the bed and asked, "Do you feel ok, other than tiredness?  If you feel ill, I should ask for a healer to come and check on you."

(Getting sleepy so I'll go ahead and get off for the night now but I'll post again tomorrow.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

The shapeshifter sighed sadly as she looked over at Lycoris as well, who was holding Nerine's hand and gently stroking her hair. The shapeshifter quietly commented,

"I am confused whether she truly believes Nerine is gone or not. You know, this is my first time saying it but it could help if her other self showed up. She tends to be a lot more emotionally stable."

Lisianthus cuddled close to Ryan as he laid beside her and smiling a little at him, she replied,

"I am ok, just tired. Summoning the portal requires a great amount of magic and I overdid the past couple of days. I just need to rest for a couple of days and not summon it anytime soon although that won't be completely possible. We're going to the others again tomorrow after all."

Alex replied, "Well, I am surprised that her other self hasn't once shown up since this has all happened.  I mean, maybe it's because Matt's unconscious so she doesn't have as much motivation to appear?"

Ryan replied, "But it might be better if you do rest until you're completely better, beautiful.  What if something worse happens next time?  I couldn't bear it if anything happened."

He hugged Lisianthus protectively.

The shapeshifter shrugged and replied, "It could be that. We'll never know until Matt wakes up, I guess. Or maybe she doesn't sense any need to show up. That other self seemed to act to protect her life and as it stands, nothing threatens Lycoris' life for now."

(Truthfully, Lycoris' other self won't show up again, at least not in the same way she used to do before. XD)

Lisianthus returned Ryan's hug gently and smiling softly at him, she said, "Hey now, cutie. Your beautiful is stronger than that. I'll be perfectly fine before you know it."

She paused then sadly said, "I can't delay it any longer. I wish I could have talked to Lycoris today but I understood Alex's point of view. I-I am just not worried about myself. I'd rather that she hurts me than to stay angry at me like this."

(Ahh ok.  XD)

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, that's true.  There is no current threat to her life."

He looked over at Lycoris, worrying about her.

Ryan replied, "I understand, but perhaps Lycoris just needs time.  And she isn't alone.  She has Alex and he's worried about her.  And you have me."

He smiled a bit at Lisianthus.

The shapeshifter sighed and she looked over at Lycoris as well. However, there was something strange this time, for Lycoris seemed to be casting some sort of a spell, and a faint yellow light was appearing around her body and moving slowly towards Nerine's body as well.

The shapeshifter frowned in alarm and asked,

"Uhh what is she doing?"

Lisianthus smiled a little back at Ryan and replied lovingly,

"I do and I am very grateful, you know. It would have been incredibly difficult to take in this pain alone but your presence gives me so much strength."

Alex replied, "I have no idea..."

He turned his attention to Lycoris and louder, he asked, "Lycoris, what are you doing?"

Ryan smiled lovingly back at Lisianthus and replied, "I love you so much, Sia, and I'll always be here for you."

He leaned in to give her a sweet kiss.

Lycoris heard Alex's question and turning her head towards his voice but not stopping the spell, she smiled a bit and casually replied,

"I am giving Nerine some of my life force. That might wake her up, right? I-I thought, maybe it could help. Maybe she needs some help to come back."

Lisianthus returned the kiss ever so lovingly, pouring all her love into it. Although she still felt quite sad and down about Nerine's death, Ryan's presence by her side gave her strength to go on.

Alex replied, "B-but that's not possible.  Lycoris, I saw my darling's spirit.  I-I don't think that will work."

He turned to Lady Penelope and whispered, "You should get your daughter, in case this gets out of control."

Ryan continued to kiss Lisianthus for a few more sweet, loving moments and once the kiss was over, he said,

"Now, you should rest, beautiful.  I can call for a healer if you need one although you'll probably just tell me you want to rest.  Am I right?"

(Ahh Alex is standing with the shapeshifter herself, not Lady Penelope. XD)

Lycoris didn't stop casting the spell and smiling blankly at Alex, she replied, "A spirit can come back to its body, right? We-we shouldn't give up, Alex. Nerine can't go forever. She-she won't leave me behind."

Lisianthus smiled a bit and nodding, she said, "Yeah, that's all I need, I think. You'll stay by my side, right?"

She laid her head on his shoulder and yawned a bit.

(Ahh sorry.  I'm tired.  lol)

Alex sadly replied, "Lycoris, maybe that might have been possible when my darling was still alive.  But I don't know if that will work now."

He looked at the shapeshifter, not knowing what to do.

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Of course, beautiful.  Why don't we both get some rest?"

Figuring that there was nothing else they could do, rest was probably the best option for now.

(No problem. xD)

Lycoris replied quietly, "It-it's worth a try. We have to try and not give up. I-I'll give her all my strength if she needs it."

The shapeshifter was running out of patience and approaching Lycoris, she held her hand and angrily said, "Stop this right now, Lycoris, before you end up hurting yourself as well. Nerine is gone forever and she isn't coming back. Snap out of it."

Lisianthus nodded and smiling a bit at Ryan, she said, "See you later, cutie."

She gave him a kiss on the cheek then closed her eyes, falling asleep.

Alex quietly added, "It's not possible to bring back those who are gone, Lycoris.  I'm sorry.  I-I truly wish there was a way but my darling's at peace.  This isn't what she would want."

Ryan smiled softly and closed his eyes, soon falling asleep as well.

(Should we bring back Nathan and Helena since it looks like Ryan and Sia will be napping for a while?  XD)

Lycoris was starting to tear up and shaking her head, she said, "No, she'd want to come back. You said she told you that she forgave me, right? Why wouldn't she want to come back? I am just trying to help her out. Even-even if I die instead. I-I just want her back."

The shapeshifter groaned in frustration and she was running out of patience, as she couldn't stand how oblivious Lycoris insisted on being.

Nathan and Helena continued spending romantic time together, and as it was getting close to lunchtime, he looked at her happily and said,

"Hungry now, love? It's getting close to lunchtime. I should take you out as promised."

Alex replied sadly, "But Lycoris, my darling wouldn't want you to die just to bring her back.  I know-I talked to her.  She's happy and at peace where she is.  Wouldn't it be better to let her be with her loved ones?"

Helena nodded happily and replied, "Sure, lunch sounds great, my prince."

She gazed on happily at Nathan and added, "I'm still beyond happy to be your wife."
