Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, and that's the most important thing.  Let's rest and recover and then when we're ready, we can go back to your place.  I've missed it.  It feels like home.  Well, being anywhere with you feels like home."

Anjela smiled a little more and gazing fondly at Matthew, she said, "And being anywhere with you feels like home. I love you forever, Matt."

She leaned in to give him a sweet, passionate kiss.

Matthew happily returned the kiss, pouring all of his love and passion into it.  He loved Anjela with all of his being and only hoped for her happiness and peace.

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now but I'll post again tomorrow and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Anjela continued kissing Matthew happily, showing him just how much he meant to her, how she truly loved him from the bottom of her heart. She was really willing to do anything to save his life and ensure his health was restored, as she couldn't go after Lisianthus and risk her life in doing so without making sure he was alright first.

Matthew and Anjela continued to kiss for a few more sweet, loving moments and once the kiss ended, he gazed lovingly at her and said,

"I love you, Anjela, and I'll never get tired of saying so to you."

Anjela gazed back lovingly and gently at Matthew and said,

"And I love you, Matt. I don't know how it happened but all I know is that I love you more than anything or anyone in the world. You are everything to me."

Matthew lovingly replied, "And you are everything to me, Anjela."

He leaned in to give another kiss to Anjela.

Anjela happily returned the kiss, pouring all her love and passion into it, show Matthew how much she loved him and praying inwardly that she would be able to save him, that she was his true love.

Matthew and Anjela continued to kiss for a few more sweet, loving moments and once the kiss ended, he happily said, "I love you forever, Anjela.  And I just love being with you."

(Giving a heads up but I'm in a bit of a bad mood again.  I found out that I have no work again next week because of this dumb lockdown and I'm worried about having to pay bills and such since I'm not going to get paid.  And the dumb government here hasn't said anything about helping people or easing their fears about their financial situation.  I mean, people cannot stay home forever and we're not living in the Star Trek era.  People still have to pay bills and take care of expenses like food and such, unless the dumb government is suddenly going to take care of that here.  -.-)

(O.O I can totally understand how you feel. It isn't like this situation will end all of a sudden and people can't just stop going to work unless the government will take care of paying things for them. Geez, I hope things get better or at least they learn how to take care of the situation more wisely. O.O)

Anjela gazed lovingly at Matthew and replied, "And I love being with you. If only time could stop. Then we can be together forever and I wouldn't ask for more."

(Sorry I am replying so late. I got into a big argument with my mom.)

(Thanks, and it's ok.  I had a sort of big argument with my mom earlier this week and it didn't help that she was only adding me to my already stressed self and all that.  At least, it's a good thing my dad's here and he makes it a point to talk to her every day so she doesn't freak out for no reason.  :/)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Me, too, Anjela.  What I wouldn't give to freeze time and have it just be the two of us, right here at this very moment."

(Yeah, it helps that your dad smooths the situation when it gets worse and all. I wish my dad would do that but when he interferes it's only against me so I end up feeling all alone and misunderstood in the end. :/)

Anjela smiled softly at Matthew and the two continued basking in each other's love for the rest of the morning. A little later, Ian entered the house, as it was close to lunchtime and he had come as promised.

(Yeah, that totally sucks although my dad does tend to do the same, too.  If we're all in the same room together, that is.  I think it's like husbands will side with their wives over their kids, even if their wives are totally in the wrong.  :/)

Matthew heard someone enter the house and assuming that it was Ian, he said, "Ahh Ian must be back.  We should go say hi to him and see how he's doing."

(Yeah, I totally get what you mean. :/)

Anjela nodded and replied, "Yeah, let's go see him. Here, let me help you up."

She slowly got out of bed and although she wasn't exactly steady on her feet herself yet, she took a deep breath and then reached out for Matthew to help him out of bed as well.

Matthew gratefully accepted Anjela's help and he said, "Thanks.  Let's take our time and walk slowly towards the kitchen and we'll help each other out."

He smiled softly at her.

Anjela returned Matthew's smile softly and nodded, then the two of them slowly walked out of the room and towards the kitchen. As they did, she couldn't help but chuckle a bit and jokingly said, 

"Heh, we seem like an elderly couple now, leaning on each other for help."

Matthew chuckled in return and replied, "Well, I don't mind."

He could imagine himself growing old with Anjela, having a couple of adult kids and maybe some grandkids.

Anjela actually had the same passing thought and for a moment, she imagined that she would be very happy, even if she just had Matthew for eternity and wasn't blessed with kids. The thought brought a blush to her face but she quickly snapped out of it, smiling softly at Matthew.

They soon made it to the kitchen and Ian saw them. He was about to start lunch preparations and upon seeing them, he smiled a bit and said, 

"Oh hey. You two are awake. I thought you might be napping or something so I didn't want to disturb you."

Matthew smiled at Ian and replied, "Hi.  That was thoughtful of you. Anjela and I have been resting all morning and we heard you come in.  How was work?"

He helped Anjela into a seat and then took a seat next to her.

Ian continued the lunch preparations and shrugging, he said, 

"Just the usual, only angerier customers. Well, the people are furious at the latest news."

Anjela furrowed her eyebrows and replied, "What news? What happened?"

Ian sighed and replied, "Oh yeah, you didn't hear."

He looked to Matthew, wondering who should tell Anjela about Ryan becoming the chancellor of the gods' world.

Matthew looked at Ian and asked, "Oh, you mean about that, what we heard yesterday?"

He wanted to make sure that Ian was referring to Ryan becoming the new chancellor.

Ian nodded and replied, "Yeah, exactly it."

Anjela raised an eyebrow as she looked back and forth between the two men and said, "Okay, just say it. What happened?"

Matthew turned to Anjela and said, "Ok, I'll say it.  You know that person who's been with the queen, right?  Well, the big news yesterday is that he's her new chancellor and the people aren't happy about it."

He then waited to see how Anjela would react to the news.

Anjela furrowed her eyebrows and was silent for a moment as though she was taking in the news, then raising an eyebrow, she said,

"Wait, are you talking about the human, the blond sorcerer, her boyfriend? Ryan?"

She bit her lower lip, clearly not about to be pleased by the news. She knew what a powerful sorcerer Ryan was and he would only be an obstacle in her way if she wished to terminate Lisianthus.

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, that would be him."

He observed Anjela and could guess that she definitely wasn't pleased by the news.  He knew that Ryan was always by Lisianthus' side and Anjela wouldn't be able to take her revenge with Ryan around.
