Romance RP

Alex looked thoughtful and nodding, he replied, "Sure, better to be cautious, just in case.  But only if it isn't too much trouble."

Ryan closed his eyes, too, soon falling back asleep.

(I guess we can leave Ryan and Lisianthus until the morning, too.  XD)

(Yup, that sounds good. XD)

Lycoris smirked a bit and replied, "No trouble. Piece of cake."

She cast a powerful spell and there was soon a protective shield surrounding the whole vacation house. It wasn't invincible, but it was definitely powerful enough to give strong protection.

She said, "All done. This should keep us safe if anyone dares to make a move on us."

Alex smiled and replied, "Thanks, angel.  Ok, let's head on upstairs and get ready to sleep."

He gently held onto Lycoris' arm and led the way upstairs to the bedroom.  Once there, he looked in a dresser drawer and took out a clean nightgown.  Handing it to Lycoris, he said,

"Here's a nightgown for you.  You can change into the bathroom."

Lycoris nodded and after Alex led her into the bathroom, she closed the door and changed out of her clothes and into her nightgown. She then opened the door and said,

"I'm all changed, Alex."

Alex smiled at Lycoris and replied, "You look wonderful, Lycoris."

He then gently held onto her arm and escorted her into bed.  He then took a pair of pajamas and said,

"Ok, I'll get changed into the bathroom and then we can both get some sleep."

Lycoris smiled a bit and nodding, she said, 

"Sure, take your time. I'll be waiting for you, my Alex."

Alex smiled at Lycoris and then he went into the bathroom to wash up and change into his pajamas.  Once he was done, he left the bathroom and put away his clothes.  Climbing into bed next to Lycoris, he wrapped his arms around her and said,

"All done.  Now, we should both get some sleep.  It's been a long day, to say the least."

Lycoris cuddled close to Alex and giggling a bit, she said, 

"Oh it sure has. But we're strong enough to overcome anything. You don't have to fear a thing when I am with you."

Alex chuckled and replied, "Yes, I can certainly see that.  You are indeed very strong but then I've always known how strong you are."

He yawned a bit and then added, "Let's get some sleep, my Lycoris."

He leaned in to give Lycoris a sweet kiss.

Lycoris returned the kiss sweetly, wrapping her arms around Alex's neck. But although the kiss was more confident, there was something that felt off with it, as though it lacked the true love Lycoris harbored for Alex.

Alex continued to kiss Lycoris for a few more moments although he felt that there was something off about the kiss.  After it was over, he looked at her in worry and asked,

"Lycoris, are you sure you're ok?  You can tell me if you're in pain or if something's bothering you, right?"

Lycoris looked a bit confused and replied, 

"Yes, I am perfectly fine. I feel better than ever actually. Of course I would tell you if there is otherwise but really, I am fine."

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, of course I'd trust that you'd tell me.  Just tell me if you don't feel well or something, ok?"

He still felt like there was something off about Lycoris although he didn't know if it was just his imagination or if there was something truly wrong.

Lycoris smiled and nodding, she replied, "Definitely. You don't have to worry about that. Who else do I have in the world? Just you."

She cuddled lovingly close to Alex.

Alex hugged Lycoris close to him and happily replied, "And I have you, my angel.  I love you forever and I always will.  You will always have me.  Never forget that."

Lycoris smirked a bit and replied, "I never will. I love you too, my Alex."

She yawned a bit then snuggling as close as possible to Alex, she said, "Let's get our sleep. Good night, my Alex."

Alex replied, "Good night, my Lycoris.  Sleep well and I'll see you in the morning."

He gently kissed Lycoris' forehead and then laid his head on the pillow, closing his eyes and soon falling asleep.

(You can take the lead on whoever we should wake up.  XD)

(Getting sleepy so I'll get off for the night now but I'll post again tomorrow before I go to work and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

The next morning, Anjela woke up a little after the sun rose. She looked to her side and observing that Matthew was still asleep, she smiled a bit to herself. She got up quietly and remembered the open portal. They still had a couple of hours at least, so they could something to eat first and strengthen up before going in.

She went out of the tent and decided to make them a small breakfast. Using her magic, she summoned a small campfire and a pot. She left some water to boil while she went to pick up some plants and herbs from nearby.

A little before the sun rose, Lycoris was getting restless in her sleep. She moaned in pain and her magic was getting unstable once more, but before things could get worse, she suddenly jerked awake with a frightened scream, crying and trembling.

Matthew woke up a little after Anjela had already woken up and looking at his surroundings, he remembered where they were.  He noticed Anjela wasn't around but seeing the campfire and pot of water bowling, he figured that she'd be back soon.

Alex heard Lycoris screaming and immediately woke up.  He looked at her and hugging her tightly, he said,

"Lycoris, Lycoris, I'm here, angel.  It's me, Alex.  I'm right here."

Anjela returned a little after Matthew had woken up, and noticing him, she said, "You're awake. Good morning."

She cleaned the herbs and plants she collected thoroughly then placed them in the pot of boiling water, making a soup of sorts.

Lycoris continued crying loudly and she returned Alex's hug tightly, burying her head into his chest as closely as possible. She was shivering uncontrollably in fear and held tightly to Alex like a frightened child.

Matthew smiled at Anjela and replied, "Good morning.  I see that we're having soup for breakfast."

Alex continued to hold onto Lycoris, hugging her and gently rubbing her back.  He gently said,

"I'm here, Lycoris.  I love you and I'm not going anywhere."

Anjela nodded and replied, "Yeah. Well, there aren't many options here but you'll like this. It's a soup made from magical plants after all. It is actually the best thing to have before starting our journey."

She stirred the plants in the boiling water for a few minutes then using a saddle, she poured the soup in a couple of bowls.

Lycoris continued crying in Alex's arms for a few more minutes before she eventually started to calm down. She held on tightly to him all the same and shakily murmured,

"I-I don't want to go anywhere either. I want to be with you. I am scared, Alex. I am so scared."

Matthew waited while Anjela made the soup and once it was ready, he took a bowl from her.  He took a whiff and said,

"It smells good.  I've never had anything like this before."

Alex hugged Lycoris tightly and said, "And I want you here with me, Lycoris.  I promise you-I'm not going anywhere.  I love you forever and whatever you're going through, I will be with you all the way."

This was the Lycoris he knew and loved; he could tell.

Anjela smiled a bit and said, "Well, these herbs only exist in the gods' world so it's natural. They have a slight healing effect and they can replenish a user's mana. And they taste good."

She sipped a little of her soup.

Lycoris continued to hold on tightly to Alex for a few moments and she calmed down a little more. But tearfully, she murmured,

"I-I wasn't myself yesterday, right? I was behaving differently. I-I remember. I-I am losing it, Alex. I am losing control over myself."

Matthew sipped his soup as well and commented,

"Yum, this is delicious.  A great way to start off the day."

Alex replied, "So that's what happened.  I knew something felt off about you yesterday but I couldn't figure it out.  I couldn't help but worry about you."

He hugged her, relieved that Lycoris was back to her usual self.
