Romance RP

Anjela smiled a bit and continued sipping her soup, getting her strength for the day. She looked at Matthew and asked,

"Are you ready? Today the fun starts, if you count it fun."

Lycoris returned Alex's hug tightly, not wanting to let go for a moment. She nodded and shakily replied, 

"It-it's like when my other self used to take over but no, this is different. With my other self, I used to black out, be unaware of what's happening around me. Only sometimes I could sense what was going and try to take over again. But this is not the same. It's like I am being possessed, like something is controlling me. I-I don't want to go again, Alex. I want to stay with you."

She hugged him even more closely.

Matthew smiled and nodding, he replied, "Ready as I'll ever be.  We'll have each other's back, so I know we can get through this."

Alex hugged Lycoris, too, and replied, "I will always be here with you, Lycoris, no matter what.  Tell me-if this happens again, what should I do?  I always want you here with me.  I won't let anyone or anything hurt or take control of you."

Anjela returned Matthew's smile and nodding, she said, "That we will. We'll overcome anything in our way."

She soon finished her soup and waited for Matthew to finish up as well.

Lycoris replied tearfully, "I-I don't know. I don't understand a thing. All I know is that I don't want to leave you ever. I don't want to hear those voices in my head again. Why can't they leave me alone? I-I just want to be with you, nothing more."

Matthew finished up his soup as well and handing the empty bowl back to Anjela, he said,

"Thank you for breakfast.  It was wonderful.  I'll get us packed up and then we can get going."

Alex replied, "And I just want to be with you, Lycoris.  Just you."

He hugged her tightly and added, "It's going to be ok, angel, it'll be ok."

Anjela nodded and replied, "You're welcome. I'll help you out."

Together, they cleaned up and packed up the sleeping bags and tents, putting everything back in place.

Lycoris didn't say anything but just held on tightly to Alex for a few moments, wanting his comfort and warmth. She felt slightly relieved to be close to him. She quietly said,

"I-I am sorry for waking you up like that. I must have startled you."

(Here.  I'll be gaming but I'm here.  Oh and I also wanted to ask for your opinion on something.  I only have 2 games left on Steam that I haven't 100% achievement completed.  One of them I can't because the stupid devs haven't gotten around to fixing the broken achievements.  But the other is Phoenix Wright and I think I told you the issue I had with that one.  Now, I told my dad about wanting a new comp and he is looking into getting a new one for me, so do you think I should hold off on Phoenix Wright until I get a new comp or just go ahead and play it on this one?  I can but it will be slow and I'll have that graphics issues, so yeah, that's why I'm asking.  XD)

Matthew and Anjela made quick work of packing up everything and soon, they were finished.  Stretching, Matthew said,

"Ok, looks like we're all packed and ready to go."

Alex shook his head and replied, "Awww no, it's ok, Lycoris.  I was worried about you last night actually, but I'm glad you're yourself again.  And here we are, all by ourselves."

(Welcome back. XD And I think you should hold off until you get a new comp. It's best to enjoy the game when things run smoothly and it's all speedy and all. XD And man, I admire your completion-ism. XD)

Anjela nodded and carrying her bag, she said, "We are. Well, it's time. We'll go through the portal and it will take us to the other side, the fourth world where the witch resides. As I told you before, the world is made of five forests and five caves, alternating. Each pair could take us about a day of going through. We just need to be focused and ready for any events."

Lycoris couldn't help but smile a bit and nodding, she said, "Being in your arms calms me down a lot, Alex. I want to be myself and be with you all the time, not leave you for a second. I'm sorry. I'm probably very clingy but I can't help it."

(Ahh ok, and thanks.  Yeah, I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to gaming.  lol  And apologies for the slow posting.  That level I was playing was proving to be difficult although I finally passed it.  XD)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Ok, I understand."

He took a deep breath and then said, "Let's do this."

Alex shook his head and replied, "Nah, I don't mind at all.  It warms my heart how much you want me around you, Lycoris.  And hey, if something feels wrong, you tell me right away, ok?  I'll always hold onto you and never let you go."

(No problem. I am alone at work so I might be slow at times too. XD)

Anjela nodded and led the way to the portal, which was still active and steady. The couple walked through it and after a moment of seeing nothing but light, they were teleported into a forest. Upon first glance, it would seem to be a normal forest but upon closer inspection, the plants would softly change color, and the trees seemed to have faces with different expressions.

Lycoris smiled a bit more and nodding, she said, "I will. I have no one in the world but you. I have no one to lean on but you. I love you so, so much, Alex."

(Ahh ok.  XD)

Matthew looked at his surroundings after they went through the portal and his eyes in amazement and wonder, he said,

"Wow, this place is magical."

Alex happily replied, "And I love you so, so very much, my Lycoris."

He leaned in to give Lycoris a sweet kiss on the lips.

Anjela furrowed her eyebrows and replied, "Don't be entranced by its magic. I remember this place; the enemies are the plants and trees themselves. The monsters, too-they tend to have a natural origin. It will be relatively easy for us though. You can cut through things with your sword and trees wouldn't stand my fire magic."

Lycoris returned the kiss happily, pouring all her love into it. It was Lycoris' usual soft, loving kiss that was full of adoration and passion for Alex.

Matthew nodded and replied, "I understand.  I'll be careful."

He readied his sword, keeping both eyes awake and open.

Alex continued to kiss Lycoris sweetly and he knew that it was the Lycoris he loved and adored.  Once the kiss was over, he gazed happily at he rand said,

"I love you so very, very much and I always will."

Anjela nodded and together, they walked through the forest, walking down a clear path. It was quiet, perhaps too quiet as they walked. There didn't seem to be any life around them; no birds or animals. It was just the plants, and the trees that seemed to be looking at them as they walked by.

Lycoris blushed deeply but she smiled softly and said, "And I love you so, so, very much that words can't just describe how I feel. You're really my whole life, Alex."

As Matthew and Anjela walked, Matthew said,

"It's way too quiet here.  Do no animals live around here?"

Alex happily replied, "And I can't live without you, my Lycoris."

He kissed Lycoris' forehead and then said, "Are you hungry?  If so, we should probably wash up and get dressed.  There won't be any fresh food here but there's a small store near here we can buy food and if you'd like, we can go to a cafe that's near there and have breakfast."

Anjela shook her head and replied, "Not all forests are like this but I recall this one didn't have any life-just the monsters we could encounter. It's a mysterious world, you know. I've only been here once and I don't understand that much about it."

Lycoris smiled softly and nodding, she said, "Yes, okay, that sounds good. It will be like a date, right? We can have breakfast and do a little shopping."

Matthew asked, "Did you ask the witch about this place when you saw her?  Surely, she must have knowledge about it."

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's right.  A fun date with just you and me.  You'll like this place.  It's quiet and peaceful and we won't get disturbed."

Anjela shook her head and replied, "That witch isn't as talkative as you think she is. Well, unless as I said before, she talks with more because, well, you two are humans and all. That could interest her. I don't think many humans come to this place, if at all."

Lycoris looked a little cheered up and nodding happily, she said, 

"Yes, I would love that. And I like this place. I like anywhere as long as I get to be with you. I am always the happiest when I am with you."

Matthew nodded and replied, "It's probably because most humans don't know how to get to this place.  Even I wouldn't have known, had you not shown me the way."

Alex blushed and replied, "And I am always happiest when I am with you, my angel."

His hand reached out to gently caress Lycoris' cheek.

Anjela smiled a bit and replied, "Well, you're right. What, are you thinking of coming here again? What could you request from that witch, if you had a wish of your own?"

Lycoris blushed deeply and couldn't help but hang her head down shyly. She softly said, 

"Well, I guess we should wash up and get dressed so we can have our date, yes?"

Matthew looked thoughtful and replied, "Oh I don't know.  I don't think I'd really want anything for myself.  I'm pretty happy with my life as it is.  I wish I could find my love out there, but it's not something I'd want forced upon."

Alex nodded and replied, "Yup, that's right.  Do you want to get ready first or should I?  I'll make your bath now if you want to wash up first.  Otherwise, I'll just take a quick shower and then prepare things for you, so you can take your time."

Anjela smirked slightly and replied, 

"Heh, pretty content you are. I wonder if that witch could do that. Well, I am sure you aren't thinking of Lycoris anymore but heh, maybe she could have that love of yours show up in your life more quickly."

She wasn't being entirely serious but just toying with the thought.

Lycoris smiled and nodding, she said, "Okay. You can get prepared first. I'll wait for you."

Matthew pouted and replied, "Hey, I said I didn't want to rush it and I won't.  You know, maybe I rushed things with Lycoris and that didn't turn out, but at least I learned from it.  so I'll take my time to find my soul mate, for I know she's out there."

Alex nodded and replied, "Ok.  I'll be quick then."

He gave Lycoris a quick kiss and getting out of bed, he took a change of clothes and went into the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day.

Anjela chuckled a bit and couldn't help but teasingly replied, "Heh, dreamy love. Well, you have all life before you. You'll find her one day. Do invite me to the wedding then, will you? I'll be curious to see her."

Though Anjela thought she wouldn't be around until then, she was catching up with the conversation.

Lycoris waited quietly in bed as Alex got ready for the day. She felt slightly better and hoped that such a thing wouldn't happen again as losing control over herself.

Matthew chuckled and replied, "You'll definitely get an invite, at least.  But first things first.  We help Lycoris."

Alex quickly took his shower and then got dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a dark green shirt.  He then combed his hair and once he was done, he prepared a warm, relaxing bubble bath for Lycoris.  He set aside clean towels and a bathrobe.  Once he was done, he left the bathroom and put away his pajamas.  He then approached Lycoris and said,

"I'm all done.  I prepared your bath so while you wash up, I'll get your clothes ready, ok?"

Anjela nodded and replied, "Well, what are we doing? We'll reach that witch. I seriously hope she can help us. Oh and I totally hope Lycoris and Alex are still at that house. I don't know what I'd do if I found out they left after all of this."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Okay."

She got up with Alex's help and followed him to the bathroom.
