Romance RP

(Totally.  XD  You know, Folke argues that when I get a new comp (and honestly, I already told him that it's not a certainty yet because my dad could argue that I don't need a new one for work purposes and he'd technically be right), it'd be better to play fun new games rather than the numerous old ones with old specs that I have but I really love old games.  I don't have a problem with them at all.  It's like with movies.  Old ones have a certain charm but I don't think he'll ever get that.)

Matthew smiled and replied, "Yup, I think so, too.  You don't want me to stick around, though?  I mean, I wouldn't mind."

Ryan happily returned Melody's hug and replied, "Thanks, Melody.  I know you'll be safe here at the castle and I'll watch over Sia."

(Yeah, I am totally face-palming at the moment. XD I totally understand what you mean. I got a new laptop myself and it has way better specs than my old one but I still play low-spec games because I like them more. And I totally agree that old things have a certain charm to them. XD)

The shapeshifter was a bit surprised with Matthew's suggestion and replied, "You don't want to go back? I'll probably just aimlessly roam around. I don't think you'd enjoy that."

Lisianthus returned Melody's hug as well and said, "Take care of yourself, girl. We'll return soon."

Melody whinnied happily, saying that she would wait for them. Irene then said, "If you two are ready, I'll open the portal for you."

(lol  Yeah, you can see now what I'm dealing with.  He'd argue that he does play old games, too, although they're mostly console games from the NES days and all.  I would say it's a generational thing but he and you are almost in the same generation and yet you embrace old school stuff more than he does.  lol)

Matthew shrugged and replied, "I wouldn't mind that.  There are even some carts at night where we can grab food if you don't want to go to a restaurant to eat.  And we can get to enjoy the town at night and we can look at the stars and the moon.  It sounds very nice, actually."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok."

He turned to Lisianthus and asked, "Are you ready to go back?  You, too, Nala?"

Nala meowed happily at Ryan.

(Yeah, I think he's even a bit older than me so if anything, I should like newer stuff more but that's not the case. XD I think it's a matter of taste and it's not entirely wrong on its own but he shouldn't keep pushing you to like the same things he does. XD)

The shapeshifter raised an eyebrow curiously at Matthew but after a moment of silence, she said, "Well, okay. I won't mind the company, if you truly won't mind. Just as long as you're doing that because you'll truly like it and not just because you are worried I'd be alone or something, okay?"

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Yes, I am ready."

Irene nodded and after taking a deep breath, she summoned the portal to the human world for the couple, to take them to Ryan's house.

(Exactly.  I am willing to try other genres but there are only a few that I really like and just stick with.  When I think about it, he's just really stupid at times but there's no one to tell him that he's wrong.  Well, he used to have a friend who did tell him when he was wrong but she unfriended him because of something.  They were honestly both at fault, I think, but yeah.  I think he needs someone to keep in check.  I suppose that's kind of why I want my dad to meet him.  If my dad doesn't like him, then I'd trust him on it.  I hate saying that but I do trust my dad's judgment a lot and he wouldn't even care if it meant that I'd be single for the rest of my life.  He'd rather that I be happy so he's really different from my mom.  And yeah, I know I totally went off topic there.  lol)

Matthew replied, "Of course.  I'm not worried that you can't take care of yourself.  The town is safe and even if there were bandits or such, I know you're more than capable of taking them down."

Ryan held out his arm for Lisianthus and looking to Duchess Irene, he said, "Thank you, my lady.  Let's keep in constant communication so we both know what's going on our ends."

(No problem and I totally understand what you mean. XD I agree with how your dad thinks too. I think it's more important to be single but happy than to be in a relationship but it's an unhealthy one. Then again, take my advice on relationships with a grain of salt. I don't nearly let any guy near me in the first place so I am not the best one to ask on this. XD)

The shapeshifter smiled a bit and nodding, she said, "Well, alright then. If you are sure. In that case, maybe you should guide us somewhere that would be nice at night, if there is such a thing."

Irene nodded and smiling at Ryan, she said, "Of course. I will keep in contact and keep you updated."

Lisianthus held Ryan's arm and waited for him to lead the way through the portal.

(lol  Ok.  And if I'm slow in posting, it's because I'm gaming.  Figured I need to destress a bit, too, that way.  XD)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Ok.  I think we can just walk around town and see if there's anything that interests you."

Ryan nodded and replied, "We'll take our leave now but I'll talk to you later."

He gently held onto Lisianthus' arm and then led the way through the portal.

(Take your time. XD)

The shapeshifter nodded and said, "Ok. I'll just like a nice nighttime walk. It will be peaceful and relaxing."

She waited for Matthew to take the lead as he knew the town better and all.

Lisianthus held Nala in her arms and holding to Ryan, she followed him through the portal. The couple soon arrived right in front of Ryan's house, safe and sound.

Matthew smiled and he led the way through town.  There were some people walking about, enjoying the nighttime scenery and some were heading to restaurants to have dinner while others were just walking about, enjoying the nighttime air.

Once they were back in front of Ryan's house, Ryan smiled a bit at Lisianthus and said,

"We're back, safe and sound."

The shapeshifter would look around as they walked, taking in the scenery. She looked up at the sky and gazing at the moon and stars, she said,

"You have a single moon in the human world. We have a couple of moons in the gods' world "

Lisianthus smiled a bit at Ryan and nodding, she said, "Yes. I already feel better now that we're back. Maybe it was a bad idea to go to the gods' world after all."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Ahh I see.  And how is it in the devils' world?  How many moons does it have?"

Ryan replied, "I don't know if it was bad but if I had known that your life would be in danger, I would have suggested that we stay here.  But we'll just stay in the human world for now.  At least until we get more information about that man and you'll definitely be safe here.  I promise you."

(Getting sleepy now so I'll go ahead and get off for the night but I'll post again tomorrow and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

The shapeshifter replied, "Three moons. The night is the brightest in the devils' world, although it's become a lot dimmer with the world's life force dying down. Your sky is beautiful nevertheless. It's like the moon is the mother of all the stars."

Lisianthus smiled a little and nodding, she said, "I know I am safe as long as I am with you. I trust you."

She reached out to touch Ryan's hand and gently squeezed it for comfort. She sighed a bit then said, "Let's go back inside. I want to rest for a bit. My head hurts."

Matthew smiled and replied, "That's a beautiful way of putting it.  I'm glad we have such a clear sky so we can see the moon and stars well."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, of course.  You must be exhausted after everything that's happened."

He gently held onto Lisianthus' arm and escorted her inside his house.

(Just going to give a bit of a heads up but if I seem pretty down for the next few days, you can guess why.  I'd hoped that I'd feel a little better today (well, maybe if I have a normal, productive day without all the stupid drama) but yeah.  I was kind of reminded of all those years ago when my mother ruined Christmas for me.  I mean, who in the world ruins Christmas unless they're evil?  But yeah, it'll take me a few days to get better emotionally unless something amazing and wonderful happens to me.  :/)

(Aww I understand. I hope you feel better soon, phoenix and do let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I understand that you need time to recover and all. And sorry I didn't post last night. I was pretty tired and I couldn't stay up so I went to bed early and all. ^^)

The shapeshifter nodded and said, "That's right although in all honesty, nothing compares to Blacklily's view of the sky. It's a city in the heart of the clouds so you can imagine. It's like seeing the moon and stars up close."

Lisianthus held Nala in her arms and followed Ryan to inside the house. Inside, the chancellor was in the living room and Lady Penelope had returned only a short while beforehand. They looked troubled, as Lady Penelope had told the chancellor of what happened with Alex and Lycoris earlier.

(Thanks, and it's ok.  I think the site was down for some hours although it's obviously back up now.  ^^)

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "Yes, I can imagine it.  That does sound amazing, getting to be on a city on the clouds and having a close up view of the stars and moons."

Ryan approached the others and said, "Hey, we're back.  How's everyone?"

He looked around for signs of Matthew or the shapeshifter.

The shapeshifter nodded and getting an idea, she looked at Matthew and said, "Well, this might sound crazy but do you want to go to Blacklily right now? I could summon us a portal to there."

Lady Penelope smiled a little at Ryan and replied, "Welcome back, sweetie. We're alright. Matt and Anjela haven't made it back yet. How was your day?"

She was visibly worried although she still tried to look as cheerful as possible.

Matthew replied, "Sure, I'd like that but only if it isn't too much trouble for you.  I don't wish to inconvenience you."

Ryan replied, "It was definitely eventful, to say the least."

He looked at Lisianthus and gently patted her hand.

The shapeshifter shrugged and replied, "No, it wouldn't. I want to show you actually. We'll, just find us a seculded spot so I can summon us a portal."

Lisianthus sighed and nodded. The chancellor furrowed his eyebrows and asked, "What happened? Is everything ok in the gods' world?"

Considering his previous position, he was naturally worried.

Matthew nodded and replied, "Ok.  I think I know of such a place.  Follow me."

He led the way to an area of town where it was secluded, so no one would watch the shapeshifter summon a portal.

Ryan replied, "The gods' world is fine but some horrible man tried to kill my beautiful.  I was able to stop him, thankfully."

The shapeshifter followed Matthew to the secluded area and once they were in private, she said, "Okay, stand back."

She took a deep breath then started summoning the portal to the gods' world, to Blacklily.

The chancellor's eyes widened in surprise and he replied, "What? Someone tried to kill her? How could this be?"

Lady Penelope was surprised as well although maybe not too much, as Lisianthus wasn't popular among her people and she had hurt too many of them, her daughter included.

Matthew watched as the shapeshifter opened the portal and he was amazed, as this was his first time witnessing this in person.

Ryan shook his head and replied, "I have no idea.  I was able to stop that man but then he killed himself afterwards.  Still, I'm hoping that Duchess Irene can find out some information about him.  I have a feeling that this isn't the last we'll hear about it."

The shapeshifter finished opening the portal and once it was stable, she turned to Matthew and said, "Ready? This will take us to Blacklily."

The chancellor furrowed his eyebrows and replied, "Even I didn't see this coming. An assassination was never attempted before. This is bad. Duchess Irene must investigate this thoroughly and since this man killed himself afterwards, he probably has information to hide."

(Ahh it's busy at work today so I'll check in when I can. ^^)

(Ahh no problem.  I'm not feeling well, so it's ok.  ^^)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, let's go."

He walked with the shapeshifter through the portal to enter Blacklily.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, I agree.  I asked Duchess Irene to keep me informed on the investigation.  In the meantime, Sia's safety is most important.  Duchess Irene wanted to keep Sia back at the castle but she wanted to return here."

(Okay, and I hope you feel better soon.  )

The shapeshifter led the way through the portal and the couple soon made it right in the heart of Blacklily. The city looked quite different at night, with the clouds all clear as they surrounded the city walls, and the streets shining naturally by the moons' light and stars. It was relatively quiet, although there were still people going about and some shops open.

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Yes. I don't want to stay back at the castle."

The chancellor nodded and replied, "It is quite safe here but moving outside the house should be only when necessary. Even the human world can't be 100% safe."

Matthew looked about in wonder and said,

"So this is Blacklily?  It looks amazing."

Ryan replied, "Yes, that's true.  Fortunately, very few people here know who Sia is, but if we have to leave the house, I'll make sure to keep us disguised."
