Romance RP

The shapeshifter nodded and replied, "That's right. There are certain clouds in the gods' world that can withstand having buildings on them. They are a sight to behold, especially at night. You are surrounded by clouds and the moons and stars are up close, like you can touch them."

Lisianthus looked thoughtful then happily said, "Let's make snowmen first! We need to rest a bit after the couple of races we had so we can build the snowmen then have the snowball fight!"

Matthew replied, "I bet a lot of humans would be envious.  It just wouldn't be possible to have cities on clouds here.  I suppose it's just that our magic isn't nearly as far along."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "That's a wonderful plan, beautiful.  We could use the rest and I like making snowmen.  Nala could even help."

Nala meowed curiously at Ryan's comment.

The shapeshifter looked thoughtful and replied, "Well, it's the difference between both worlds, isn't it? Magic in the gods' world is pretty much everything, but that's not the case here. You depend on other means to do what you want."

Lisianthus nodded happily and replied, "Totally! Come on, girl!"

She put Nala down on the ground but then realizing something, she said, "Oh but we don't have any gloves. And the snow is too cold to touch."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, that's true.  Humans tend to rely more on science and technology to make progress.  It's interesting to compare our worlds."

Ryan smiled and replied, "I can take care of that."

He cast a spell and in his hands, there were gloves.  He handed a pair to Lisianthus and said,

"Here.  They're in your size, and I even summoned some cat gloves for Nala."

Nala meowed happily in appreciation.

The shapeshifter nodded in agreement and said, "That's right."

She said nothing more, continuing to gaze at the sky peacefully. Every little bit, though, she would look at Matthew from the corner of her eyes, wondering if he was really okay that she her hood off. Although he did say it was fine and she decided to believe him, she still felt self-conscious and uneasy.

Lisianthus giggled happily and said, "Thanks, cutie! Your magic is pretty helpful, you know. Now we are all ready. We can start making a snowman!"

Matthew looked at the shapeshifter and he smiled at her.  He did genuinely feel that she was beautiful, despite the scars.

He took a deep breath and enjoyed the air and surroundings.

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's right.  Ok, let's start with the base of snowman and go up from there."

He put on his gloves and after helping Nala put on hers, he began to gather snow in his hands.

The shapeshifter felt a little more at ease as she felt that Matthew was genuinely not bothered by her scars and she relaxed a bit. As they continued to gaze at the sky, she commented, "I imagine a sunset would be very beautiful here."

Lisianthus had put on her gloves as well and started helping Ryan gather snow so they could make the base of the snowman.

(Thanks.  I'll be multi-tasking so my posts may be really slow.  XD)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "They are.  When I was younger, I would love getting to watch the sunset.  You know, we could stay here and watch it together if you'd like."

Ryan and Lisianthus worked together to make the snowman and as they did so, he said,

"I love being with you, beautiful.  You're so happy and full of life."

The shapeshifter was a little surprised by Matthew's suggestion but then smiling a bit, she nodded and said, "Yeah, I'd like that. I like watching the sunset too, and I know it will look wonderful from here."

She paused then said, "That might make a little late though. The others won't worry about you?"

Lisianthus blushed and grinning happily, she replied, "And I love being with you, cutie. You bring out the best in me, you know! I feel so carefree and happy when I am with you."

Matthew raised an eyebrow and replied, "I could say the same about you, you know.  But it's fine.  We should make the most of today."

Ryan blushed and replied, "And you bring out the best in me, my beautiful.  I feel so loved and happy around you."

The shapeshifter turned her attention to the sky and replied, "Only my mom would worry about me, you know, but she does that nearly all the time. But your friends will be waiting for you. That's what I meant."

Of course, she was referring to Lisianthus and Ryan.

Lisianthus smiled happily and she seemed to space out a bit. She remembered how they had spent time together there before, and how much fun they had.

Matthew smiled and replied, "I understand but they won't mind.  I like spending time with you."

Ryan looked on happily at Lisianthus and asked, "Having a happy memory?"

The shapeshifter raised her eyebrows in surprise then smirking a bit to herself, she replied, "You're strange. Why do you like spending time with me? I wouldn't think my company is enjoyable. I am a bit surprised you had fun today even."

Lisianthus nodded happily and replied, "Yup. We had so much fun here last time. And you taught me how to ski, too, right? I kept falling down a lot, hehe."

Matthew replied, "Of course I had fun.  You're relaxing to be around and I even got to hear you play the violin.  Thank you."

Ryan chuckled and replied, "It's only natural.  Beginner skiers tend to fall a lot.  But with practice, you'll get better and you have fun, right?"

The shapeshifter was even a little more surprised by Matthew's response and she even blushed a little. Turning away, she replied, "Umm it was nothing. I should be the one thanking you for today and for the violin."

Lisianthus nodded happily and said, "Yes, yes! And I remember that I did back then. We were just friends at the time but here we are, happily engaged!"

Matthew happily replied, "It was my pleasure.  Just seeing you happy is more than enough to make me happy."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's remember and I have the most wonderful fiancee ever."

Nala meowed happily and chuckling, Ryan added, "Nala definitely agrees."

The shapeshifter glanced at Matthew and she nodded gratefully to him. She then turned her gaze back to the sky, which was already starting to color with a faint yellow as the sunset was approaching.

Lisianthus laughed happily and replied, "Now let's continue making that snowman. We're almost done with the base!"

Meanwhile, hidden between the trees of the park, there was an eye on the couple, maliciously watching them.

Matthew turned his gaze at the sunset, too, and he noted,

"It's quite beautiful, isn't it?  Are sunsets the same in all worlds?"

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's true."

He continued to make the base of the snowman with Lisianthus, unaware that they were being watched.

The shapeshifter nodded and replied, "That's right. It looks the same as the sunset in the gods' world. I heard a sunset in the devils' world is different and it colors the sky in faint purple, but I never witnessed it myself. Still, I imagine a sunset is beautiful anywhere."

She sat up on the grass to watch the sunset more intently, a wistful look on her face.

Lisianthus continued making the base of the snowman happily with Ryan and they were soon all finished. She then said, "Okay, we should make the head now! We'll make him a nice head and put him eyes, nose and a mouth!"

She started gathering more snow for the head.

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yes, I agree.  I feel how fascinating it is to watch the sun go down, saying goodbye to the day, and then the moon comes to greet the night."

Ryan grinned and he gathered snow as well, helping to make the head.  He looked at Nala and asked,

"Are you having fun watching us, Nala?"

Nala meowed happily.

The shapeshifter smiled a little, and replied, "That's a very romantic way of picturing it but you're right. You know, my house was close to the beach. I used to go on the roof almost everyday to watch the sunset on the ocean. It was always a wondrous sight. There is also belief in the gods' world that if you make a wish on a sunset everyday continually for a month, that wish will come true."

Lisianthus giggled happily and replied, "Nala is having as much fun as we are."

Meanwhile, the man in the shadows had a bow and a single arrow. He just had to make one shot and he could take the cruel queen's life. He readied his bow, ready to make his aim.

Matthew asked curiously, "Did you do that?  Did you make a wish every day on a sunset?"

As Ryan continued to make the snowman with Lisianthus, he felt like something was off.  He hoped that he was wrong, but he didn't want to take any chances.  Staying quiet, he silently summoned a magical protective shield around them in case of any sudden attacks.

(I hope it's ok.  I'd be sad if Lisianthus died, too.  :/)

(Yup, that's fine and no worries, I don't plan on killing anyone else especially not Lisianthus. I know Ryan would be incredibly devastated if I did that. XD)

The shapeshifter smiled a little wistfully and nodding, she said, "Yeah. It was that time when my husband was in war. I prayed every day that he would come back to me safely. I had found that I was pregnant, and I wanted to tell him. Well, I guess my wish did come true. He did come back and I told him."

Lisianthus continued making the snowman happily, unaware of what was going. The man in the shadows was also unaware that Ryan had summoned a shield around the couple, and after aiming carefully, he shot his arrow at Lisianthus. The arrow hit the shield and stopped in track, but it made such a powerful impact that it almost broke the shield, meaning it would have been fatal had it hit.

(Aww ok.  XD)

Matthew smiled a bit and replied, "That's wonderful."

He paused and added, "You're lucky that you got to be with him.  I-I wish I had that same fortune."

Ryan's eyes were alert as he saw the arrow and he was thankful that he had the foresight to summon the shield.  He then cast another spell to find the intruder, as he wanted to question him on his actions just now.

The shapeshifter looked surprised and turning to Matthew, she had a guess at what he meant and gently replied, 

"Umm you mean Lycoris, don't you? I am sorry. I-I know how you must feel. I wish you could have had a chance to be with her."

As Ryan's spell took action, it revealed a cloacked man, who was frustrated as his aim missed. Preparting to take his leave swiftly, he exclaimed, "You might have survived this time, cruel queen! But next time, you'll die!"

Lisianthus was both alarmed and scared, as she didn't even remember being a queen and here she was, almost assassinated.
