Romance RP

(Yeah, I can totally understand. This can be really quite stressful. :/ He really ought to try not to upset you just like you try not to upset him nearly all the time. :/)

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Ok. Just-just don't leave me, ok? Especially not around Matthew. He-he makes her really strong."

(Yeah.  I know things aren't easy for him and I guess things on my end are way better since I'm busier with work and I'm making more money again so I can buy myself nice things.  But I think Folke can get himself to that point, too, if he just tries and doesn't give up.  I try to be there for him but when he does things like that and takes things out on me, it isn't easy.  :/)

Alex replied, "I understand.  I witnessed firsthand how strong she is when Matt's around.  She really does get her strength from him."

(Well, I guess it might help to talk to him when he's calmer and just avoid him when he's not in the best mood?)

Lycoris nodded sadly and replied, "She-she loves him very much. I-I wish there was a way for them to be together but there isn't. Nerine's safety comes before anything else."

(Yeah, I guess so.  I know I've been busier lately so I haven't had as much time to be there for him and I do feel about that.  But I have to take advantage of these work opportunities when I can since they're hard to come by.  :/)

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, we must get my darling back.  She must be so scared there.  I'm grateful that Helena is with her but I know she needs me."

(Yeah, and I think he has to understand too. :/)

Lycoris nodded and replied, "That's right. It'll be ok. It is just a few hours and it will be all over and Nerine will be back with you again, safe and sound."

Alex smiled a bit and replied, "Yes, that's right."

He took a breath and then added, "How about we just lie down and relax, ok?  Maybe that could help?"

(I should be going to sleep but I'll post again tomorrow before I go out for work and all.  Thanks for hearing me out and nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Okay, it-it might help. I just don't want to fall asleep. If I let my guard down, she-she'll take over."

She laid down on the bed and waited for Alex to do the same.

Alex laid down on the bed next to Lycoris and wrapping his arms around her, he said,

"Do you want me to shake you if it looks like you might fall asleep?  I'll make sure she doesn't take over."

Lycoris nodded in reply and said,

"Yes, please do that. I-I'll do my best to stay awake though. I need to stay focused. If she takes control, we'll be risking everything."

She paused then quietly said, "Even if she does, force her if you have to. I hate that I talk about her as though she's another person but she is supposed to be me. Force her if you have to, Alex."

Alex nodded and replied, "I understand.  I'll watch over Lycoris.  You have my word."

He leaned forward and gently kissed Lycoris on her cheek.

Lycoris felt better at hearing Alex's response and relaxing a bit, she smiled a little and softly said,

"You're my hero, Alex. I don't know what I could have done without you. You stand by my side to the very end."

Alex smiled lovingly at Lycoris and replied, "I'll always be here for you, no matter what.  I'll never leave you."

He hugged Lycoris close to him.

Lycoris returned Alex's hug, letting her warmth strengthen and comfort her. She couldn't help but softly murmur,

"I'll miss you, Alex."

Alex sadly replied, "I'm going to miss you, too, so very much.  I'll never forget you, Lycoris.  I swear it."

He closed his eyes and his eyes misted.

Lycoris held on tightly to Alex and her eyes were full of tears although she buried her face in Alex's chest so he wouldn't see them. Part of her wished she could stay close to him but that wasn't possible anymore.

She softly said, "Where I'll go, will-will I be able to see you, Alex?"

(Sorry that I'm late.  I got carried away with gaming but I'm here now.  ^^)

Alex smiled softly at Lycoris and replied, "You will, Lycoris.  My spirit will always be with you.  You are so precious to me.  Never forget that."

He hugged Lycoris closer to him, and his eyes were brimming with tears as well.

Lycoris continued to hold to Alex tightly and nodding, she said, 

"I'll hold on to that. I feel a lot of comfort being close to you now. I am lucky I get to spend my last time in your company like so. I couldn't have asked for anything else."

Alex replied, "And I'm so happy I get to be with you, to spend this time with you.  I..."

His voice trailed off, as he was quietly sobbing over everything that had happened, that was going to happen.

Lycoris could hear Alex's sobs and feeling suddenly guilty that she would cause Alex pain, she quietly said,

"I-I am sorry, Alex. I am so sorry. I-I didn't mean to make you cry. I was just speaking honestly of how I feel. I am so sorry."

Alex quickly shook his head and trying to calm down, he replied, "No, it's not your fault.  I just don't want to lose you, not like this.  I just can't see another way.

But I'll always be with you, Lycoris, no matter what.  You've made me so very happy."

(I'll be going to sleep soon so I'll get off now but I'll post as much as I can tomorrow before I go to work and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris buried her head deeper into Alex's chest, as though she wanted to hide inside him. Fighting back her own tears, she quietly said,

"And I am the luckiest girl ever to have just met you. I-I...I wish I didn't have to go either. Despite what I used to say before, that I wanted to sacrifice myself, I-I know now it was because I always knew I couldn't be with you. Life had no meaning when you weren't around, Alex. I-I just wanted you close and when I knew it wasn't possible, I wanted to let go.

But I-I am willing now to go for you. I'd walk through fire just for you."

She sobbed quietly as well and held on tightly to Alex.

Alex continued to cry quietly and he replied,

"And I'll go through anything for you, Lycoris.  You will always be worth everything to me."

He clung onto Lycoris, holding her, never wanting to let go of her.

Despite her tears and sadness, Lycoris couldn't help but smile a little and softly said,

"This-this might be the first time I tell you this but at one point, I thought you stopped loving me. I think it was around that time we divorced. I-I know I shouldn't say this but I am happy to know that I am still so dear to you."

Alex replied, "Lycoris, I've never stopped loving you.  I know you know that.  It's just that at that time, I did it because of my darling.  I wanted to make her happy but you and I have always been married in my heart.  That's never stopped and it never will."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied,

"I know that now. I-I was just blinded by my sadness at that time but I understand now. I've never stopped loving you either, Alex. Even though...even though I might have gotten too close to Ryan at one point, it was nothing compared to how I feel with you. You're my first, my last and my only love."
