Romance RP

(Nah, no worries.  I'm gaming and doing other things at the same time, so it's all good.  XD)

Helena nodded and replied, "Sure, I'm getting a little hungry and I want to eat with my Nathan."

She smiled happily and fondly at him.

(Coolies. XD)

Nathan nodded happily and replied, "Let me escort my beautiful princess then."

He offered her his arm and once she held to it, he led the way back inside the mansion and to the dining room.

As Helena and Nathan went inside, Helena commented,

"You sure do have a wonderful staff to take care of your place and cook meals.  I really do feel like a princess here.  In the human world, I would have to cook and clean after myself."

Nathan looked lovingly at Helena and said,

"No more of that, love. You won't have to lift a finger around here and all your needs and wants will be answered immediately. We have the best staff and truly, I do feel lucky to have them around. I guess I was a pretty spoiled boy when it came to that because I can do nothing of house chores and such."

He chuckled a little at his comment.

Helena giggled and replied, "Awww you don't seem spoiled to me.  You are very adored here.  I can tell.  I really am the luckiest woman to be in love with you and to have you love me in return."

Nathan blushed a little and replied, "Now who's the flatterer here?"

The couple made it at the dining room, which was quite large and built with such splendor. Nathan helped Helena at a chair and then sat himself at the chair at the head of the table, which was right next to Helena's.

He then called for a maid to bring dinner and the maid left to do as ordered.

As the maid went to get dinner for the couple, Helena asked,

"Have most of your staff been here for a long time?"

Nathan turned to Helena and nodding, he said,

"Yeah, most of them have. I never fired anyone and those who left usually retired. There have been a few new maids, of course, but they aren't a lot."

Helena nodded and replied, "Ahh I see, and you're a wonderful employer, too, to have never fired anyone.  You must treat your staff very well, but then again, I know how wonderful a man you are."

She smiled happily at him.

Nathan blushed again and replied, "Yup, you know how to flatter me so well but I am not complaining."

He winked happily at her. Shortly after, the maids returned with dinner and laid it out in front of the couple before taking their leave. Nathan said,

"Food looks quite delicious today. Let's start eating, shall we?"

Helena nodded happily and taking her fork, she began to eat her food.  She commented,

"Your cooks are very talented.  We're lucky to have such delicious meals."

Nathan smiled and said,

"They do make the best food and if you ever feel like having something in particular, feel free to ask them to prepare it for you. They're always open to suggestions."

Helena smiled and replied, "I'll definitely do that.  Do your cooks know how to prepare meals from the human world?  I could write down some recipes and oh, desserts are really yummy."

Nathan nodded happily and said,

"They definitely can. Just give them the recipes and they will do their best although you should keep your promise to me sometime. I'd love to taste your cooking, you know."

He winked flirtatiously at her.

Helena nodded happily and replied, "Of course.  You just name it.  When you want me to cook for you and I'll get to it."

She continued to eat her happy, happy with the company and the taste of the food.

Nathan smiled happily and continued eating his food as well, loving the company. He then said,

"Could you check on the girl after we're done eating? I'd go to her myself but I have a feeling she wouldn't like my presence."

Of course, he was referring to Nerine.

Helena nodded and her look immediately turning to concern, she replied,

"Yes, of course.  I want to see how Nerine is doing.  I hope that her condition is improving.  I think that as long as she rests and tries not to worry too much, she should get better."

Nathan replied,

"That's why I am not coming with you. She'll get worried and panic if I accompany you and well, it isn't in my own good that she isn't well."

He furrowed his eyebrows and said, "I need to find out a way to break through that barrier that's preventing me from reaching her husband."

Helena nodded and replied, "I understand.  I wish I could help you with that, but I'm still learning magic.  I wonder who's casting that barrier, though.  It must be someone extremely powerful to make it last like that."

She looked curious and thoughtful.

Nathan nodded and looking deep in thought, he said,

"I have no idea. Her husband isn't a powerful magic wielder and I doubt it would be Lycoris herself. Though her powers are quite powerful, she is too naive to be able to cast something like that."

He looked serious, thinking over the matter.

Helena nodded and replied, "I was just thinking that if you know who's casting that magic, you may be able to find its weakness.  It's just an idea.  As I said, I'm still learning how all this magic works."

She gave a small smile and continued to eat.

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now but I'll post again tomorrow.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Nathan nodded thoughtfully and smiling, he said,

"You're very bright, love. You're thinking in the right direction. I think I might be forming an idea of who could be casting that magic."

He paused then said, "That Lycoris had a human friend who also happened to be in a relationship of some sort with the queen. I remember that he was quite the powerful dark magic wielder. I think it could be very well him who is casting this magic."

Helena replied, "Ahh I see.  Then if you find him, you should be able to figure out the barrier's weakness.  It's really common sense.  Magic is always tied to the caster, right?  Or at least, it usually is?"

Nathan nodded and said, 

"It usually is unless the magic is so powerful that it is stable on its own. It won't be a piece of cake finding that human, though, let alone capture him. He's too powerful. Not too powerful for me, of course, but it isn't worth the trouble."

He took a deep breath and furrowing his eyebrows, he said, "I'll figure something out. I won't give up. And as long as we have the girl, they're the ones who'll want to reach us."

Helena smiled and replied, "That's what I like about you, how determined you are to get what you want.  I have faith you'll figure something out and you're right-Nerine is still here."

She continued to eat and was soon finishing up.
