Romance RP

(Thanks. I am starting to feel better so hopefully I will post as usual tomorrow or after at most. ^^)

Lycoris still looked annoyed and shrugging, she said,

"Like it will make a difference. She finds it a lot easier to just refuse my presence and persist on sacrificing herself."

(Nice.  I'm glad you're feeling better.  ^^)

Matthew replied, "I see."

He wrapped his arms around Lycoris and said, "We should all try to relax.  This is such a tense time for everyone."

(Thanks. I couldn't post today but hopefully I'll post tomorrow as usual. XD)

Lycoris laid her head on Matthew's chest and trying to take her breaths slowly to calm down, she said,

"Yeah. That is why I wish we could just run away from all of this."

(No worries.  I wasn't feeling so great yesterday so it's all good.  ^^)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yeah, I understand.  You've been through so much and you deserve to have a happy, peaceful life and I want to live it with you."

(I understand. I hope you are feeling better today.  )

Lycoris nodded and and replied sadly, "That's true. I deserve to have some happiness at the end of all of this, don't I? I wish my other part would understand and stop being so insistent on killing herself. I know she wants to be happy too but she's too weak to fight for it."

(Thanks.  I am.  Yesterday was just so stressful but today is better.  It's been quiet today and I prefer days like today.  ^^)

Matthew nodded and replied, "I see.  I wish there was a solution that would make everyone happy.  I guess it's naive of me to think like that, though."

(I'll be gaming but I'll be here.  ^^)

Lycoris nodded but then letting out a soft yawn, she said,

"Is it ok if we take a short nap? I want to rest for a little. Maybe it will make this headache go away."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Of course.  It has been quite the morning and you know, I'd love to hold you in my arms while we sleep.  Why don't we take the bed this time?"

Lycoris giggled happily but nodding, she said, 

"Okay, we can take the bed this time. I'll have a most peaceful nap by your side, held by your arms."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, you definitely will."

He got up, helped Lycoris to her feet, and escorting her to the bed, he and Lycoris laid down and held each other, readying themselves for a much needed nap.

As Lycoris and Matthew were laid down on the bed, she cuddled close to him and said, 

"See you when we wake up, Matthew. I'll feel quite safe in your arms."

Matthew leaned in to give Lycoris a sweet kiss on the lips and replied, 

"See you when we wake up.  I'll protect you always."

He gazed lovingly at her and closing his eyes, he soon fell asleep.

(Getting sleepy now so I'll get off for the night and go to sleep but I'll post again tomorrow before I go out for work and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

(Sorry I haven't posted since last time. Things have been quite hectic here because of family troubles and yeah. :/ I thought I could become regular again with my posts but I don't really know. I have lots of things that I need to take care of during the mornings and then the pharmacy during the evening so yeah. I'll try to post whenever I can but until I can have things sorted out on my end, I hope this is okay. :/)

About an hour later, Lycoris opened her eyes and started to come awake. However, it wasn't the same Lycoris who had fallen asleep a while earlier. It was the real, soft Lycoris in control, having somehow managed to take back control from her other personality. 

Knowing that Matthew was asleep and noticing that they were holding each other, she pulled her arms away and firmly said,
 
"Matt, please wake up."

(Awww sure, I understand.  Take as much time as you want to sort things out.  ^^)

Matthew felt a stirring and slowly opening his eyes, he looked at Lycoris and replied,

"Lycoris?  You're awake?"

(Thanks for understanding.  I have a chance to reply now so I will do so while I can. ^^)

Lycoris took a breath and quietly replied,

"Yes, I'm awake although I am probably not the Lycoris you're waiting for."

Indeed, her looks were a lot softer to indicate the real one's presence, although she had a firm expression on her face.

(Ok.  ^^)

Matthew took a breath and replied, "Well, I did expect that you'd be able to regain control, sooner or later.  You're angry at me, aren't you?"

He waited and feared for Lycoris' reply at the same time.

(Hey, phoenix. I will post now but I read your Steam status earlier and I am sorry you had to go through that scare and all.  I hope you are feeling better now and going smoothly on your medication regimen and all. ^^)

Lycoris looked quite down and it took her a few moments to gather a reply, but she finally said quietly,

"I am not angry. I-I don't really have the right to be angry, right? It's not like I am one to tell you what to do or not to do. I-I am just disappointed. I am sorry."

(Thanks.  Yeah, I'm getting better.  Continuing to take antibiotics and putting ointment on my wound although the only side effect is that I'm feeling sleepier.  lol  ^^)

Matthew shook his head and replied, "No, I-I understand.  I know I've gone against your wishes.  It's just that I can see a better solution for all of this.  There doesn't have to be only one way, you know?"

(Sorry it's been such a long time since I've last posted here. I know I've been neglecting the RP recently but yeah, I do really have a lot of things to take care of. ^^ At least it's getting better. College is starting again on Monday and I will have a steadier schedule at least. ^^)

Lycoris felt as though there was a heavy feeling on her chest but after taking a breath, she quietly replied,

"And what is that? What-what is that way you see?"

(Awww that's good and I can understand that.  It's hard getting things together without a regular schedule.  I do miss our regular RPs but I know how life can be.  ^^)

Matthew replied, "Love.  Doesn't everything work out when love is involved?  I know that sounds cliche but it's true."

He hung his head down, though, and sadly added, "But I know that you don't love me and you never will."

(Thanks for understanding. ^^ I think I can finally return to regular RP posting. Today was my first day at college and I'll have a more regular schedule from now on. I'll be able to post frequently the whole week except for Mondays and Tuesdays as these will be my busy days at college and all. But even then, I'll put in at least a couple of posts and all. xD)

Lycoris couldn't help but feel bad as she heard Matthew's latter sentence and after a moment of silence, she quietly said,

"I-I am sorry, Matt. I really am. I-I just don't see you that way."

She paused then continued in the same quiet tone, "But you-you don't love me. I mean, I thought your feelings were for my other personality."

(Ahh no worries.  XD  My work schedule has been getting busier lately so there may be days that I'm late getting here to post regularly.  ^^)

Matthew replied, "I love both of you.  I mean, you two are similar, even if you won't admit it.  But she told me that you still have feelings for Alex.  Is it true?"

(No problem, I totally understand. ^^ I'm heading to college for the day in a bit but I'll make this post before I do so. XD)

Lycoris hung her head down almost shamefully, and after a moment of silence, she replied quietly,

"I-I know it's wrong of me to do so, and that these feelings shouldn't exist within me but I can't help it. Alex was the first one ever to enter my heart and he hasn't lost his place since then. Even...even though I fell in love with another later, my heart kept beating for him. It still does. My-my love for him is eternal."

(Ok.  XD)

Matthew sighed quietly and replied, "I can understand that but you know that you can't be with Alex, right?  I mean, even if Alex would want to be with you, he's married to Nerine and although I don't really know Nerine too well, I get the feeling that she wouldn't like sharing Alex."

Lycoris quickly replied,

"I-I don't want any of this. I understand that Alex belongs to Nerine now and I don't wish to take him away from her. That-that didn't work out before and there is no reason for it to work out now."

She paused then sadly, she continued, "I'll love him silently and I don't ask for anything in return. I-I am going to sacrifice myself for the devils' world anyways. It doesn't matter."
