Romance RP

Matthew continued to gaze at Lycoris happily and fondly for a few more moments and then turning back to the others, he asked,

"So how was everyone else's afternoon?  Did all of you enjoy it well?"

Lady Penelope nodded happily and said, "I spent it in my daughter's company and I went out at one point to enjoy the garden again. It's quite breathtaking to be in it."

The shapeshifter maintained her silence all along, as she wasn't in the mood to participate in this small talk.

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Ahh I see.  It must be wonderful for the both of you to spend some time together."

He looked on happily at both Lady Penelope and the shapeshifter.

(Sorry I wasn't able to get on earlier. :/ I had a few problems with my internet connection and plenty of study too so yeah. =/)

Lady Penelope nodded happily and replied, "Of course. Whose company would I enjoy more than my own daughter's?"

She glanced proudly at the shapeshifter, who didn't show any reaction.

(Awww it's ok.  I'll be on today due to my work schedule changing and all so hopefully, we can post more then.  ^^)

Matthew smiled softly and looking to the shapeshifter, he said,

"You must feel very lucky to have Lady Penelope as your mom, right?"

(Coolies, I am heading to college in a bit but I'll be back early and I'll post as soon as I can. ^^)

The shapeshifter was a little surprised as Matthew talked to her but nodding, she replied, "Yeah, sure."

She didn't say anything more and Lady Penelope gave Matthew an apologetic smile, as her daughter obviously didn't want to engage in conversation.

(Ok.  ^^)

Matthew smiled softly at Lady Penelope and nodded in understanding.  He then asked, "Is everyone enjoying the food?  The chefs made sure to make a lot so there's plenty for everyone."

(I am back now. ^^)

The chancellor replied, "The food is exceptionally well-made and very delicious."

Lycoris added, "Yes, that's quite true. I think I have a new favorite now. This kind of food really tastes unique and delicious."

(Welcome back.  Sorry I'm late but I'll try to post as much as I can before I go to sleep.  ^^)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "I agree.  There are the noodles version of this, too.  We should try them sometime."

(Ok and no problem. ^^)

Lycoris looked quite curious and asked, "Hm? What are noodles? I've never heard of these at all."

Matthew replied, "You know what spaghetti is, right?  Noodles are a main part of spaghetti."

Lycoris looked confused and replied, "So what's the difference between noodles and spaghetti? Do they taste different at all?"

Matthew looked thoughtful and replied, "It's kind of hard to explain but I'll do my best."

He then proceeded to explain to Lycoris about noodles and how they were similar to spaghetti.

Lycoris nodded in understanding and smiling softly, she said, "I would love to try them out one time. They sound very interesting and I would like to taste how different they are from spaghetti myself."

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "We can ask the chefs to prepare them sometime along with some dishes and have them for lunch or dinner.  How does that sound?"

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris nodded happily and said, "I'd really love that."

Lady Penelope giggled happily and commented, "It sounds like you really want to grant all Lycoris' wishes, darling."

Matthew blushed and replied, "I do.  She is a very special woman and she deserves to have her every wish fulfilled.  Don't you agree?"

(Ahh I am heading to college early today so this will be my only post for now although I'll post when I come back of course. XD)

Lycoris blushed deeply and replied, "Matt has been nothing but kind and generous to me so far."

Lady Penelope giggled happily and replied, "Well, he is right when he says that you deserve it, Lycoris, although you're quickly lucky to have so much of his attention."

(Ahh ok.  XD)

Matthew replied, "And I feel extremely lucky to have her attention."

He gazed happily at Lycoris, momentarily forgetting about the others in the dining room.

Lycoris blushed deeply and paused in her eating, hanging her head shyly. After a moment, she replied shyly,

"You're flattering me deeply, Matt, but thank you. I have a lot of fun in your company as well."

Lady Penelope giggled happily, enjoying observing the couple and their reactions to her words.

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "I'm happy to hear that."

He paused and then continued, "Well, let's continue eating and then figure out what to do this evening.  Sound good?"

The party nodded happily and they all continued eating, soon finishing up. They only had to wait for Matthew and his dad and then they could figure out what to do this evening. Lycoris was looking forward to a peaceful time although her head was starting to hurt slightly.

(Ahh I'll be heading to college now and I'll be later so I probably won't catch RPing today. I'll post when I make it back though and I'll be here tomorrow. See you then, phoenix. ^^)

Matthew and his dad soon finished their dinner as well and seeing that everyone was done, Matthew asked,

"Did you all enjoy dinner?"

The head chef entered the dining room and nodding to everyone, he said, "I hope dinner was satisfactory.  I wanted to check to see if anyone wanted more."

Lycoris smiled gratefully and replied,

"Thank you very much for your hard work, sir. The food tastes really amazing."

Lady Penelope nodded happily in agreement and said, "Personally, I am full but I really enjoyed tonight's dinner."

The head chef smiled and replied, "I'm happy to hear that.  If everyone has had their fill, we'll ask the maids to begin the clean up soon."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Of course.  Thank you."

He turned to the others and asked, "So how shall we spend this evening?"
