Romance RP

Ryan smirked and replied, "Oh I know what I'm doing so there's no need to worry about little old me.  Are you ready for it, little girl?"

Lisianthus frowned in annoyance and letting out a humph, she replied, 

"Little girl? Hah, I've been coming here long before I see your face. We'll see about that."

The bartender soon returned with Ryan's order and laid out the drinks in front of the couple before taking his leave.

Ryan took his shot of drink and looking to Lisianthus, he asked,

"You ready, little miss?"

(I'm curious but is LAN the same as Ethernet connection?"

(Ahh I think so. I never figured what Ethernet is but I always thought they were the same. XD)

Lisianthus took her shot of drink as well and looking daringly at the stranger, she replied,

"As ready as I'll ever be. On your sign."

(Ahh ok.  I ask because I may have fixed my Internet connection problem.  I can access the LAN as my default and I haven't been disconnected at all so I'm hoping that I've solved it.  ^^)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Then let's do it."

He waited for Lisianthus to down her drink and then he did the same.

(That's good. ^^ LAN connections are much more stable than wireless ones so yup, hopefully that does it. XD)

Lisianthus downed her drink in the same time as Ryan, taking it all in. As she was used to drinking, she had strength enough to endure it although she could feel herself getting more drunk, not that she minded it.

Smirking at the stranger, she said, "Heh, you thought I wouldn't take that in? Ya should know that I am not new to this, not one bit."

(Yup.  XD)

Ryan shook his head and replied, "Not at all.  Ready for the next round?"

He got his next drink, waiting for Lisianthus to take hers.

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lisianthus took her next drink as well, and grinning, she replied, "Heh, as ready as I'll ever be. Once more, on your sign."

She waited for the stranger to down his drink and drank her own in the same time.

After Ryan drank his drink, he said,

"That sure is good.  You know, you must have a lot of troubles on your mind to have even agreed to this contest in the first place."

Lisianthus giggled and nodding her head, she replied,

"Yeah, you can say so. Hell, why else would I come here? To drink a lot, as much as my stomach and brain would take, till I pass out or my tummy can't take it anymore. Don't they say, 'drown your sorrows?' That's what I'm here for. I have hell a lot to drown, heh, so might as well have a contest on it."

There seemed to be a tone of depression in her voice as she spoke for a moment, but she quickly regained her apparently happy mood as she relaxed.

Ryan nodded and replied, "I see."

Quickly changing the subject, he then asked, "Ready for another round?"

Lisianthus smirked and replied, "You bet I am."

She got her next drink and on the stranger's signal, they downed it at the same time. Although Lisianthus' stomach started complaining and she felt a bit dizzy, she thought she could go on for a bit more.

(I am still wondering where Ryan is going with this. He is only getting Lisianthus more drunk, and himself too. XD)

(lol  Well, Ryan wants to let Lisianthus' guard down so she can be honest with him.  XD)

Ryan finished his drink without any trouble and said, "Ahh that feels good.  Can you keep it up, girl?"

(I'm having Internet problems again despite being connected to LAN so I want to ask.  Do you know if Skype, specifically video calls, will interfere with Internet connection?)

(Ahh I have no idea honestly. Did your problem start when you started using them?)

Lisianthus wasn't honestly feeling that well but thinking she could go on for a bit more, she nodded and smirking confidently, she said,

"Heh, of course. What about you?"

(Not immediately.  It was fine for the first few days but then I started having Internet connection problems.  But before, I pretty much never used Skype, let alone for video calls and all.)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Of course I can."

Inside, he was worried about Lisianthus' condition but he would watch her just in case.

(Hmm I don't think it's supposed to do that though. I think my mom used to use it before and it didn't cause any problems. Have you tried contacting the internet provider about the issue yet?)

Lisianthus continued smirking and replied, "Hell then, let us have another round. You seem pretty experienced at this. What, you been drinking for long? Got sorrows to drown too?"

(I haven't but I don't know if it's an ISP or comp issue.  I just assumed that when we subscribed to our ISP, we had unlimited bandwidth but that may not be the case.)

Ryan shrugged and replied, "I suppose you could say that.  You clearly have something troubling you but if you'd rather drink, I have no problems with that."

He took his glass, ready to down another shot.

(I see. If the problem were the bandwidth though, I think it wouldn't be disconnecting but rather working with very slow speed. I think it's a good idea to just give them a call and ask about this. Last time I had this trouble, it was a problem on their side and they managed to fix it.)

Lisianthus giggled and replied, "Understanding, aren't ya? I like that. Another round it is then."

She took her glass as well and the couple downed their drinks one more time at once.

(Ahh ok.  I may ask around as well.  XD)

Ryan felt ready for another round and turning to Lisianthus, he asked,

"How are you holding up?  Ready to go home yet?"

(Ok. XD)

Lisianthus was starting to feel sick, and definitely wasn't able to go on anymore. Holding up her stomach, she tried to contain herself as she smirked and quietly said,

"If you want to go home, go alone. Ya-ya win though. I don't think I can go on anymore."

Ryan replied, "All right but I'm going to take you home, miss.  I may be a rogue but I can be a gentleman at the same time."

Lisianthus was starting to get annoyed by the stranger's persistence and as she wouldn't just let herself be carried away by some man she met at a bar, she replied with anger in her voice,

"I told you to go home alone. What is wrong with you? I am fine."

She was almost shouting, as she was pretty drunk by that point.

Ryan knew that Lisianthus was pretty out of it at that point and so he cast a sleep spell on her so that he would take her back to the castle, as there was no way that he would leave Lisianthus in the bar without making sure that she returned safely.

Before Lisianthus knew what happened, she suddenly felt pretty sleepy, and fell asleep at the table.

(Ryan should have been a bit patient though. Lisianthus could have broken down at that point and told him all he wanted to know. XD)

(lol  I see.  Well, Ryan didn't know that Lisianthus was about to let down her defenses completely.  XD)

As Ryan saw that his spell worked, he paid for their drinks and then carrying Lisianthus in his arms, he walked out of the bar with her and approaching Melody and his pegasus, he whispered,

"It's me, girl."

He then used a spell to turn himself back to normal.
