Romance RP

Rosaline petted the puppies gently and replied, "I'm glad they do."

She looked at the others and more seriously, she said, 

"Let us know how things go with you. We're quite worried about Lycoris ourselves."

Alex nodded and replied, "Of course.  We'll let you know how things go.  I hope we'll have some good news soon."

Bryan replied, "Me, too.  I want all of us together again."

As the rest of the party was done eating, Irene said, 

"If we're all finished, we should get going. We shouldn't waste too much time. If things don't work out, we'll have to think of an alternative plan or something so let's go."

Ryan nodded and he got up to follow Irene to Lisianthus' office.  Alex did the same and turning to Nerine, he asked,

"You're coming, too, right, darling?"

Nerine nodded and replied, "Yes, of course."

She got up and followed Alex as the couple headed to Lisianthus' office with Ryan and Irene. There, Irene knocked on the door and Lisianthus gave them permission to enter and then gestured for them to take their seats.

She took a deep breath then said, "Ok. So the first step now is have Ryan talk to Lycoris, right?"

Alex replied, "That's right.  Ryan, you know what to say, don't you?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "I'll apologize to her, explain that it was all in the heat of the moment."

Irene nodded and replied, 

"Yes. Try to reach out to her emotions, ok? She should be more vulnerable at the moment so try to take advantage of that."

Ryan replied, "I understand.  Any other advice?  What if I can't reach out to her despite all of my efforts?"

Alex looked troubled and replied, "Then perhaps you could retreat at that point.  We'd have to come up with another plan."

Irene looked troubled as well and replied, 

"I agree with Alex. Pushing her past that point won't be very helpful."

She turned to Ryan and replied, "Do your best so that it doesn't sound that you were sent by us to talk to her. It's best to make her feel as though you are talking to her behind our back to help her out. This way she may open her heart to you a little easier."

Ryan nodded and replied, "I see.  But what excuse can I come up with that she'd believe?"

Alex replied, "You could say that you got away from us for a while so you could talk to her privately and work things out between the two of you?"

Irene nodded and replied, 

"Yes, that's a good idea. Perhaps you can try to convince her that you want her to run away from Duke Collins and on your part, you'll leave us and try to help her out, run away with her or something."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, I can give that a try."

Alex added, "You could also try persuading her that you were wrong to just stand by and do nothing and you want to make things right with her now by helping her escape."

Irene nodded in agreement with Alex and replied, 

"That sounds good as well. The most important thing in the end is reaching out to her emotions. If you can do that, if you can play on that line, your mission won't be so difficult."

Ryan took a deep breath and replied, "Ok, I'll give it a try.  Anything else?"

He looked to everyone and Alex shook his head, unable to think of anything else that Ryan should say.

Irene shook her head as well and replied,

"I think that's all. Take a few moments to plan things out in your mind and prepare yourself mentally then talk to her."

Ryan nodded and took a couple of minutes to think and plan to himself.  Once he was done, he said,

"I'm going to contact Lycoris now."

He then opened up the telepathy and reaching out to Lycoris, he said,

Hey, it's me.  Are you there?

Lycoris had been thinking of her conversation with Alex when she heard Ryan trying to contact her. She was annoyed, as it seemed that the other party was trying to contact her non-stop. Almost angry, she replied,

What do you want?

(Ahh I might be late in posting later today since I have studies to take care of and all but I'll do my best to log in as early as I can. ^^)

Ryan replied in as saddened and remorseful voice as he could,

I-I wanted to check up on you.  See how you're doing?  Are you all right?

(I am here now. Sorry I am late. Had quite a bit of study and all. ^^)

Lycoris wasn't very moved by Ryan's tone and replied,

Don't you talk to Alex at all? Didn't he tell you at all that he talked to me twice and I told him that I am alright? I am doing great actually, staying away from all of you.

(Ahh no problem.  ^^)

Ryan replied,

Umm, he did but are you really happy?  I'm not here to start a fight with you.  I want to make things right between us.  I feel horrible about how I treated you.

Lycoris scoffed angrily,

You feel horrible? Really? Oh great, I'm so happy you're feeling horrible. That's what you are, you know-a horrible person. You claim to care about my happiness but only last night, you were attacking me along with that shapeshifter and her friend. I'm so sick of your lies, Ryan. Stay away from me-can't you understand that little request?

Ryan replied,

I'm sorry about that.  I was just so upset at the time and shocked by everything that happened.  I reacted very badly and I'm sorry that I hurt you.  I truly am.

He did his best to sound as sad and sincerely remorseful as he could.

Despite how sad Ryan sounded, Lycoris didn't believe him. As she had been blind for a long time now and had to depend on mainly her hearing to manage, she had gained an ability to understand past what people said. And she couldn't believe Ryan; her words didn't make it to her heart because they weren't coming out of his heart.

Almost angrily, she replied,

Too late. You're too late, Ryan. You don't stab me in the back twice then come back and ask for forgiveness so easily. What are you planning to? To stab me in the back a third time? I was so wrong to ever trust you before, Ryan. I am not about to make the same mistake again.

Ryan felt sad upon how angry the other Lycoris was at him and sadly, he replied,

You don't believe me?  You've never believed that at any point in my life, I loved you?  Is that what you think?

(Ahh I am back earlier than usual today so I can post now. XD)

Lycoris replied emotionally,

No, I believed you before. You know that. I loved you very much and I wanted nothing from the world but to be with you; I told you before that I would want nothing and no one else if I could have just you. But you are the one who abandoned me; you refused to rescue me when you could and just last night, you were fighting against me. And all to do what? To kill me, nothing else. Now you come and beg for forgiveness?
