Irene replied,

It's a little difficult for me to leave the academy at the moment but I'll try to finish up here as quickly as I can and then return to the castle to stay by her side. How is she at the moment?

Ryan glanced at Lisianthus and replied,

She's trying to be strong but I can tell that she's sad.  She thinks it's because I didn't trust her enough to tell her what happened before.  She-she may be right about that but I was afraid of how she'd react and what she'd do.  Was I in the wrong not to tell her for so long?

Irene sighed and didn't know how to answer. Maybe it was wrong to hide things from Lisianthus but she understood Ryan's reasons and partly agreed with him. She replied,

Let's not think about the past. The important is what's next. You need to head to the humans' world now and get Lycoris back to safety so don't waste any time.

Ryan replied,

Yes, I agree.  I'll talk to Lycoris and see if we can't work things out.  With any luck, I'll be able to bring her and Alex back here very soon.

Irene replied,

Alright then. Good luck working things out and I'll be waiting for good news from you.

Ryan replied,

I'll let you know how things go as soon as I can.  I'll talk to you soon then.


He shut off the telepathy and followed Lisianthus as they continued heading to the chapel.

Lisianthus and Ryan soon made it at the chapel and Lisianthus led the way to where the gate was. She took a deep breath then chanting a few magic words, she cast the spell that revealed the gate to the humans' world. She then looked at Ryan and said,

"Here you are. You can pass safely now. It will take you to the cave near Devenshire."

Ryan hugged Lisianthus gratefully and replied,

"Thank you, beautiful.  You have no idea how much this means to me.  I love you so much and I'll do my best to get Lycoris and Alex back here, ok?"

Lisianthus returned the hug gently but didn't say anything in response and she didn't have much of an expression over her face. She nodded and said,

"Ok. I'll be waiting for you. Contact me if you need anything."

Ryan nodded but noticing the blank expression on Lisianthus' face, he carefully replied,

"A-are you all right, Sia?"

He was worried as it appeared that Lisianthus wasn't showing any emotion whatsoever.

Although Lisianthus was far from being alright, she didn't want to show that in front of Ryan. Nodding, she said,

"I am fine. Please get going. The gate won't remain open for very long."

Ryan nodded and after giving Lisianthus a hug and a kiss, he replied,

"Ok, I'll go.  I'll talk to you soon then, beautiful.  Thank you."

He gave her one more kiss and then entered the portal.

After Ryan left, the gate soon automatically closed after it teleported him to the humans' world. Lisianthus silently headed to her room although there was a volcano that wanted to erupt inside, but she worked as hard as possible to contain herself.

(Aww poor Lisianthus.  Again, I want to tell her that it takes hard work to make relationship work and all.  XD)

After Ryan arrived in the human world, he teleported himself to a spot near Alex and Nerine's house, as he knew that Lycoris, Alex, and the others would be there.  He then walked towards the house, trying to calm himself as best he could.

(Well, she is trying her best although she's feeling pretty broken at the moment and all. XD)

As the party were enjoying themselves in the garden, they could see Ryan clearly as he approached the house. Lady Penelope was the first one to see him and she was alarmed but didn't say anything. The shapeshifter noticed her and following her gaze, she noticed his presence as well and alarmed, she quickly prepared herself in case he tried anything.

(Aww I understand.  XD)

Ryan noticed the looks of alarm on the shapeshifter's and Lady Penelope's faces as he approached the party and raising his hands, he silently indicated that he was unarmed and that he was alone.

Meanwhile, Alex turned to Lycoris and said, "Ryan's coming, Lycoris.  I guess he found a way."

Lycoris was both surprised and happy as she received the news from Alex, although she immediately felt quite nervous. The shapeshifter heard them and looking sharply at them, she asked,

"You knew he was coming?"

Lady Penelope had noticed Ryan's gestures to indicate that he meant no harm, and nodded to him so he could come closer. She said to her daughter,

"Be patient, darling. He's not here to make troubles."

Edward and Eleanor looked confused.  Although they could tell that it was Ryan since Bryan wouldn't behave in the way that Ryan was, they didn't understand why he came.

Ryan finally reached the party and bowing respectfully, he said,

"I came alone.  No one else will come, I promise.  I came here to see Lycoris."

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

The shapeshifter frowned and asked, "See Lycoris or try to take her away? Because if it's the latter, then you better stay away for your own safety."

Lycoris quickly spoke up, "He-he's here to see me. I am sorry I didn't say anything but I talked to him to tell him about what's going to happen tonight and he-he's here just to say goodbye. I promise you that's all."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, that's right.  I won't take Lycoris away unless she tells me to.  I want to talk to her, as I won't have another chance to again."

He looked saddened over the thought of Lycoris being gone soon and Alex quietly replied,

"I don't see the harm in letting them talk."

The shapeshifter looked hesitant, as she feared that Ryan would use the chance to take Lycoris away despite promising otherwise. Lycoris quietly said,

"Please. I promise I won't go anywhere. I-I just want to talk to him."

Lady Penelope looked to her daughter and gave her a pleading look, asking her silently to agree to the couple's wishes. Finally, the shapeshifter said,

"Fine. But don't you dare even think of taking her away, understood?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "I understand.  You can observe us if you want.  I-I just want to talk to Lycoris privately for a while if that's all right."

Edward nodded and replied, "We understand."

The shapeshifter replied with a frown and said, "Fine. You can go to the backyard and I'll watch you from far."

She went to Lycoris' side to help her get up and walk then led the way to the backyard.

As the shapeshifter escorted Lycoris to the backyard, Ryan followed them, nervous about talking to Lycoris.  He didn't know what to expect but hoped that somehow, things would work out and Lycoris would be able to continue to live, despite the chances indicating otherwise.

The shapeshifter led the couple to the backyard where she helped Lycoris have a seat. She then glanced at Ryan and gave him a warning look before walking away to give the couple their privacy but continued to watch them from far.
