Romance RP

As Ryan heard Lycoris' voice, he could only nod at the head healer, agreeing with him.  Turning to Lycoris, he sheepishly replied,

"I'm sorry, my angel.  Breakfast is all set up now.  I'm sure it's still warm."

Lycoris pouted and replied, "It better be."

The head healer set the food for the puppies as well and took his seat at the table while the couple's food was on the bed, set and ready.

Ryan noticed the pout on Lycoris' face and slyly replied,

"I know what'll cheer you right up."

Leaning in, he gave Lycoris a sweet, passionate kiss on the lips, as a way of apologizing for the delay.

Lycoris was a bit surprised but happy with Ryan's kiss, and returned it quite lovingly. The head healer raised an eyebrow but he didn't say anything of course.

Once the kiss was broken, Lycoris slyly said, "You do know how to cheer me up, my Ryan. I admit that was all I needed."

Ryan chuckled and then teasingly replied, "Then I'll remember what to do in case my angel ever needs to be cheered up.  Now let's eat.  I'm starving and this looks quite delicious."

He took his fork and began to eat happily.

Lycoris reached out to her food as well and started enjoying it, depending on herself and managing somehow. The head healer ate his breakfast well, secretly watching Lycoris and noting the changes.

As everyone ate, Ryan commented,

"Thank you for preparing breakfast, sir.  It's very delicious indeed.  Don't you think so, my angel?"

He looked to Lycoris for her reply.

Lycoris nodded although without her usual polite smile and replied, "Yes, it's really good. Thanks, sir."

The head healer smiled and said, "No problem. I am glad you enjoyed it and I am sorry if I was a little late today."

Ryan shook his head and replied, "Not at all.  If you ever need any help with the cooking, please let me know.  It must be tiring for you to cook all of this for us but we do appreciate it very much."

The head healer shook his head with a smile and said, "Not at all. Like I said before, I enjoy cooking and it's my pleasure to cook for all of you."

He was soon done eating and a bit later, Lycoris was all done as well.

Ryan soon finished his meal and the puppies did, too.  Seeing that everyone was done, Ryan got up and helped the head healer to place the plates and utensils back on the tray to carry to the kitchen.

After everything was placed on the tray, the head healer carried the tray and said,

"I'll be going downstairs to take care of the cleanup then I'll be in the library. Do you need anything, sir, lady?"

Lycoris replied, "Nah, I'm fine."

Ryan shook his head and replied, "No, thanks, sir.  Again, thank you for the delicious breakfast.  Please let me know if you need anything.  I'll be with my angel, of course."

The head healer smiled and replied, "Please excuse me then."

He bowed politely and carrying the tray, he left the room. Once she heard the door click, Lycoris grinned and said,

"Finally alone again. I hate to share you with anyone, my Ryan."

Ryan chuckled and replied, "Aww but the head healer isn't going to take you away from me, my angel.  He's here to make sure that your recovery is as smooth as possible."

He reached out to touch Lycoris' cheek and added, "And it looks like it's going pretty well so far."

Lycoris smiled slyly and lovingly as she replied, "If that's so, it's because you're here with me. And I'm doing my best to recover too. I'll be on my feet again soon, quite strong and healthy and no one will ever dare to come near me."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Yup, I'm sure of that.  Once you've completely recovered, we can resume your magic lessons and before we know, you'll be the most powerful sorceress ever."

Lycoris replied confidently, "Heh, definitely. No one will be able to stand in my way."

She frowned then with danger in her eyes and voice, she said, "And that captain and his helpers will pay for everything they've done to me, especially that shapeshifter. They won't have any mercy from me."

The look in Lycoris' eyes frightened him a bit but doing his best to remain calm, he replied,

"And I'll do all that I can to help you.  You deserve to have a happy, peaceful life after everything you've gone through."

Lycoris smiled and replied, "Don't I? And you'll be there all the time of course, won't you, Ryan? We have our whole future ahead of us, just you and me and we'll be so happy together."

Ryan nodded and replied, "I'd like that a lot to spend the rest of my life with you, my angel, and you should have a happy normal life like everyone else.  Tell me something.  What have you ever wished for yourself for the future?"

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll post again tomorrow after I get back from work.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris looked thoughtful then replied, "Before, my wish was to see the world and explore as much as I can of it. Now, I still wish for that but I want to do so with you. I want you there always for me, by my side supporting and loving me."

(Back and free now.  XD)

Ryan smiled softly and replied, "Yes, I can do that, my angel.  I want to show you so much of this world and what it has to offer you."

He hugged Lycoris close to him.

(You know, I think Ryan might fall in love with this Lycoris but it might present problems in getting the old Lycoris back.  XD)

(Welcome back. ^^ And man, that would be unexpected. XD Could Ryan abandon the old Lycoris to keep this one? XD)

Lycoris cuddled close to Ryan and reaching out to caress his cheek lovingly, she said,

"Heh, then we definitely have a wonderful future ahead of us, my Ryan."

She paused then frowning a bit, she said, "We just need to get rid of that captain. He's the main obstacle in the way of our happiness, isn't he?"

(O.O  I hope not.  XD)

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, that's right.  That man is pure evil and he won't stop at nothing to get your powers.  I won't let him get anywhere near you, if I can help it.

Other than him, are there any other obstacles in our way?"
