Romance RP

Alex bowed politely to everyone in the room and added, "Good morning."

As he helped Nerine into her seat before taking a seat next to her, Ryan replied, "Good morning.  I trust that the two of you slept well."

(BTW, I may not post much today.  I have a bit of a cold so I'm trying to rest as much as I can.  I'm hoping that this goes away before the end of the week because of work and all.)

(Ahh it's alright, I understand. ^^ I hope you feel all better soon, phoenix and the cold goes away. ^^ I am sorry I haven't been posting much lately but we've been making these changes around the house and it's been taking all of our time lately. =\)

Nerine nodded and replied, "We did. It was a peaceful night."

Bryan and Rosaline entered the dining room then and Rosaline smiled to everyone, said,

"Good morning, everyone."

(Ahh I see.  I hope that the house changes go well and thanks for understanding.  ^^)

Bryan added, "Good morning, everyone."

Ryan smiled to the couple and replied, "Good morning, you two.  You both look to be in good spirits."

Turning to Lisianthus, he then said, "It looks like everyone's here so we should go ahead and order breakfast."

(No problem. ^^)

Lisianthus nodded in agreement and then ordered the nearby maid to fetch breakfast, which she left to do immediately. Meanwhile, Lisianthus turned to everyone else and asked,

"Does everyone have their own plans for the day?"

Bryan looked thoughtful and replied, "My love and I don't have any specific plans so perhaps a walk in the gardens?"

Alex added, "That sounds like a good idea.  Perhaps my darling and I can join you?"

Rosaline smiled and replied, "That sounds like a good idea and you're more than welcome to join us, Alex, Nerine."

The breakfast soon arrived and the maids laid it down in front of the party, before leaving them to enjoy their meal.

Alex smiled to Rosaline and replied, "Thanks."

Seeing the food laid out before them, Alex commented, "This looks delicious."

Ryan smiled and replied, "Then let's eat.  We all have a busy day ahead of us."

He, Bryan, and Alex began to eat their meals, getting their fill.

The ladies began eating their breakfast as well as Duke Collins and Avi, getting their energy for the day. Duke Collins looked distracted as he ate though, for he hadn't seen Lycoris for a while and hadn't been able to see her for the past few days, which bothered him.

(I wonder what Duke Collins is going to do.  XD)

As everyone ate, Ryan cast a glance at Duke Collins and noticed that he seemed distracted.  However, he wasn't sure what to make of it but made it a note to pay particular attention to the man just in case he tried anything funny or out of the ordinary.

(He's definitely going to try to reach Lycoris one way or the other. XD)

The party continued eating breakfast before gradually, everyone started finishing their food. Lisianthus turned to Ryan and asked,

"You're going for Lycoris' lesson now, right, cutie?"

(Yup, figured as much.  XD)

Ryan finished his meal and then turning to Lisianthus, he nodded and replied,

"Yup, I am.  Lycoris is probably already in the training room so I should head there now.  I'll be back for lunch, though."

He gave Lisianthus a quick kiss and then turning to the others, he said, "I'll see you all later."

He then got up from his seat and left the dining room, heading towards the training room.

In the training room, Lycoris was indeed waiting for Ryan, accompanied by the puppies and the soldier. She spent a peaceful night, thankfully and felt a little better than how she did during the night.

Ryan arrived in the training room and immediately upon entering, he noticed Lycoris with the puppies and the soldier guarding her nearby.  Approaching her, he gave her a soft smile and said,

"Good morning, Lycoris.  How are you?"

Lycoris smiled softly to Ryan and replied,

"Good morning, Ryan. I am alright. I hope you enjoyed a peaceful night."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "I did.  And how are our boys doing?"

He reached out to pet the puppies and they barked happily in reply.  Ryan smiled and commented,

"Sounds like they slept well, too, but that doesn't surprise me.  They have you, after all."

Lycoris blushed slightly and smiling, she replied, "Why, thank you, Ryan."

She paused for a moment then continued, "Shall we start today's lesson?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "Sure, sounds good to me."

He helped Lycoris to her feet and then escorted her to the center of the training room.  After they positioned themselves, Ryan turned to her and said,

"Let's start by reviewing the spells I taught you the other day.  You can decide which one you want to start."

Lycoris nodded and after taking a deep breath, she began casting the spells Ryan had taught her the other day, one after the other, efficiently and without making mistakes.

Ryan observed Lycoris nearby as she cast the spells that he had taught her and noted how well she was doing.  They were cast perfectly and Ryan had nothing but positive criticism to give to Lycoris.  He said,

"You really will surpass me before long, you know."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied,

"It's an honor to hear this coming from you, Ryan. I am glad I am doing well but it's really all thanks to you being a great teacher."

Ryan blushed and replied, "Thanks, Lycoris, but you're a great student.  It's a pleasure and honor for me to teach you.  We make a good team and I hope we'll have a chance to use our magic to work together."

Lycoris nodded with a smile and replied,

"Me, too. I am sure we'll make a powerful team if our powers do come together. And I'll always be proud that I had you as my instructor and teacher."

Ryan grinned and replied, "Thanks, Lycoris, but the honor is all mine."

Changing the subject, he then asked, "So what spells do you want to learn today?  You should learn ones which you think will be most useful to you."

Lycoris looked thoughtful for a few moments then replied,

"What spells do you think would be most useful in a battle? I don't know that much about spells so I can't really tell."

Ryan looked thoughtful and replied, "Well, it's important to defend yourself but to ultimately defeat your opponent, you do need offensive spells.  You're not specially tuned to any type of elemental magic but perhaps I can teach you to cast dark energy blasts?"
