Romance RP

Ryan shook his head and replied, "No, but I'd like to see it one day.  Rosaline mentioned the devils' world to me the other day.  The sorcerers there are powerful and they specialize well in dark magic.  We should go there together someday."

Lycoris replied, "I feel sure you're going to love it. I don't know if it had remained the same as before although it probably changed, but still, I am sure it's still beautiful. And it would be quite useful to you in terms of dark magic, that's true."

(Curious but do you have the day off from classes?  XD)

Ryan smiled softly and replied, "I'm sure it would be.  I'd like to see more of these worlds.  It's been wonderful getting to see the gods' world for the first time and getting to meet all these wonderful people."

He paused for a few moments and then continued, "You've been to all of the worlds, right?  What do you think of them?"

(Oh yeah, today and tomorrow are off days for me since there are festivals and such around here. XD)

Lycoris was silent for a few moments then replied,

"I only have a blurry memory of the devils' world but I remember it used to be beautiful. And the gods' world-I've never seen it so far-but I love everything I hear and feel about it.

But my favorite was the humans' world. It had so much to offer and so many wonderful things. There were things I never saw before there, never heard of. I tried so many new things there. It definitely is my favorite."

(Ahh nice.  XD)

Ryan listened with much interest as Lycoris talked about the human world and how it was her favorite place.  He asked,

"What do you like about the human world?  I love it, too, but then I'm biased since I lived there for so long."

Lycoris smiled as she remembered the humans' world and all her wonderful memories there, especially those in Alex's company. She replied,

"It's such a beautiful world, you know? It's so warm and friendly. I loved how different everything there was. There was the winter and its snow, and the rain. I loved its animals, or the flowers; they were so beautiful.

The towns too. Every town had its special atmosphere. I remember Alex taking me to Devenshire once and how they would dance into the evening to beautiful music. Even the food, the drinks. Everything there was so special in its own way."

Ryan smiled softly and replied,

"I know exactly what you mean.  I can definitely tell that you love the human world a lot."

He looked to the puppies and asked, "Do you like it, too, boys?"

The puppies barked happily, wagging their tails in response to Ryan's question.

Lycoris smiled softly and petted the puppies gently as she heard them barking happily in response to Ryan's question. She replied,

"They must love it. It's their home after all, isn't it?"

Ryan grinned and replied, "Yup, that's true."

He then added, "I'm happy that the boys like you a lot, Lycoris, but that's not surprise.  You're a very kind woman and they can obviously tell."

Lycoris blushed slightly at Ryan's compliment but didn't smile. She replied quietly however,

"That's quite kind of you to say, Ryan. Thank you."

Ryan replied, "I'm simply telling the truth.  Right, boys?"

The puppies barked happily and reached out to lick each of Lycoris' cheeks.  Ryan chuckled and added,

"And they agree with me."

Lycoris couldn't help but smile softly as the puppies expressed their love for her, and petting them lovingly, she replied,

"I really am lucky to have you all in my life. Thank you. I could keep saying it forever but it would never be enough."

Ryan replied, "Well, I feel lucky to have you as a friend and to be in the presence of a powerful sorceress.  It isn't easy to meet many magic users so it's always nice to get to know more.  And I hope you've enjoyed my company as well."

Lycoris smiled a little more and replied, "Of course, Ryan. Your company is one of the most things I thank Heavens for. You're a wonderful person; kind and brave and quite generous. Like I always say, I am also eternally grateful for everything you do and did for me."

Ryan blushed and replied, "Thanks, Lycoris.  That means a lot.  I hope I can continue to be a great teacher and friend to you and never hesitate to ask or talk to me about anything."

He paused for a few moments and then asked, "Do you want to resume our lesson?"

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Sure, we took enough rest, I think. Please lead the way and I'll be right behind you."

Ryan nodded and after helping Lycoris to place the puppies back on the bench, he helped her up and led her towards the center of the training room to resume the lesson.

He then said, "Ahh I have an idea.  How about I teach you the silence spell?  If you want some peace and quiet and there's some noise bothering you or people talking loudly, you can use this spell to sound-proof your surroundings so you have some peace and quiet."

Lycoris thought that it was a useful spell, as there were many times that she wished she could only be by herself, enjoying peace and quiet, and nothing else. So nodding, she replied,

"Sounds good. I'd like to learn that, please."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok then.  Let's get started."

He then explained about the silence spell, describing its effects and such.  Then he demonstrated the spell, making sure to test it out to see that it worked.  After he was done, he turned to Lycoris and asked,

"Do you want to give it a try?"

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Ok, I'll do my best."

As she was feeling better than before, she was able to concentrate harder and taking a deep breath, she did her best to cast the spell. She wasn't able to get it correctly for the first few tries but after a little while, she was finally able to cast it and block the sounds from around her.

She smiled and said, "I think I did it."

Ryan smiled and replied, "Yup, that's great.  You picked up on that spell quickly, Lycoris."

He was impressed with how quickly Lycoris was progressing with the spells, as other beginner magic users weren't as quick to pick up on them.

Lycoris smiled and replied,

"I'm glad I did. I think it was fairly simple-or perhaps I focused more this time. I did my best to master it quickly."

Ryan replied,

"It definitely shows.  That spell is useful when you want a good night's sleep or if you want some quiet to study or something.  It's quite advantageous to have magic, isn't it?  We can find many ways to do things that non-magic users can't."

Lycoris nodded and replied,

"Magic is a bless if used correctly. I wish all people who had magic would use it this way. Some people use it for bad causes. It's so evil to use such a beautiful thing for bad purposes."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, you're right, of course.  There are some good, responsible magic users but there are the bad ones, too.  I've realized that our magical abilities are a gift not to be taken for granted.  I'm glad that it has served me well to this day."

He remembered all the times he had used magic in good ways, especially when it came to protecting Lisianthus.
