Romance RP

Avi looked a little troubled as Ryan mentioned Alex and replied,

"Well, Lycoris had been asking about him since the morning since we both thought he'd come. She was waiting for him anyhow. I was going to ask him myself to come earlier but she said she didn't wish to disturb him if he was busy. Umm where was he?"

Ryan replied, "He was with Nerine. I guess he didn't wish to leave her side. Although I don't know all the details of what's happened, I guess he wants to give Nerine as much attention as possible. But I can try to get him here in a little bit."

He turned to Lisianthus and said, "Perhaps you and Nerine can chat and I can use that opportunity to bring Alex here?"

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Sure, I wouldn't mind."

Avi replied, "Alright. Just don't let Lycoris know that you're the who brought him here, ok? I can understand about Alex wanting to keep Nerine's company and all and although Lycoris would understand, too, she might think he was unwilling to come alone or something or that he had forgotten and you reminded him and that would just hurt her."

He looked over at Lycoris, who didn't look like she was having a completely pleasant sleep, and would let out soft moans occasionally.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Of course."

He glanced at Lycoris, who looked to be in pain while she slept. He turned to Lisianthus and said,

"Let's go get Alex and Nerine now. I'm sure Lycoris needs him."

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Sounds good."

She looked to Avi and said, "We'll be right back."

Avi nodded to them and then getting up, the couple went out of the room and back to the gardens to get Alex and Nerine.

Once Ryan and Lisianthus arrived back at the gardens and found Alex and Nerine, they approached the couple. Ryan turned to Nerine and asked,

"Hey, Nerine, would you mind if I steal Alex from you for the afternoon? I promise to bring him back for dinner."

Nerine wondered why Ryan wanted to have Alex for the afternoon and replied,

"Ahh what's up? Is something wrong?"

She didn't think that Ryan and Alex were that close to hang around each other and she was curious.

Ryan shook his head and replied, "Oh not really. I just wanted to get to know Alex better-that's all. He and I haven't really had a chance to chat and soon we'll all be like family, right?"

Alex wondered where Ryan was going with this conversation but turning to Nerine, he said,

"I don't mind going with Ryan but will you be all right, darling?"

Nerine felt suspicious about Ryan 'wanting to know Alex better' since he could definitely do that with her around, in any friendly chat. Although she wished she refuse it, she found no excuse to do so so reluctantly, she replied,

"Ahh sure, I don't mind."

Lisianthus smiled happily and replied, "And I can keep Nerine company. It's been so long since we've hung around each other so it will be all fine."

(Hmm, it's almost like Nerine knows that Ryan's trying to get Alex to Lycoris. XD)

Ryan smiled and replied, "Great. Alex, let's let the ladies catch up and I'll see you for dinner, beautiful."

Alex then followed Ryan inside the castle, unaware that Ryan was leading him to Lycoris' room. Once the two of them were out of earshot of the others, Ryan turned to Alex and said,

"Lycoris needs you so Sia and I are helping to give you some alone time with her."

Alex nodded and smiling, he replied, "Thanks, Ryan. I really want to see her but I had no way of doing so without Nerine finding or getting upset."

(lol That's true since it's the only place Alex wouldn't take Nerine with him in. XD)

After the men had left, Lisianthus tried to talk happily with Nerine to distract her. However, Nerine, determined as ever, kept asking her cousin about where Ryan was really taking Alex, and Lisianthus had a hard time resisting Nerine's pressures, as Nerine wasn't convinced that Ryan simply wanted to get to know Alex, and felt suspicious that there was only one place he could be taking him to.

(lol I hope that Lisianthus can keep Nerine distracted long enough for Alex and Lycoris to have some quality time. XD)

Once Ryan and Alex had reached the door to Lycoris' room, Ryan quickly knocked on the door and said,

"Hey, Avi, I'm back."

(lol Lisianthus says she'll try her best. XD)

Inside, Avi was trying to comfort Lycoris in her sleep as her moaning seemed to increase and she didn't seem to get much rest. Hearing Ryan on the other side, he hoped Alex would be with him and getting up, he opened the door. He was relieved to see them both and stepping aside, he said,

"Hey, Alex, Ryan. Come in."

Alex entered the room first and Ryan quickly followed him. After the door was closed, Alex looked at Lycoris and she looked to be in pain. Alex rushed to Lycoris' side and holding her hands, he gently stroked them and quietly said,

"I'm here, Lycoris. I'm so sorry I wasn't here for you before but I'm here now."

Lycoris looked to be in pain still although a little moved with Alex's presence, and she quietly muffled a few, whispered words that weren't completely understandable.

Avi watched her and quietly talking to Alex, he said, "I've been doing my best to comfort her but I guess I am not much helpful. I hoped your presence would help. She was waiting for you to come."

Alex nodded and replied, "I'm sorry. I wanted to be here for Lycoris but, umm, well, you know how I've been trying to fix things with Nerine?"

Ryan replied, "It hasn't been easy for you. That's for sure."

He turned to Avi and quietly said, "I'm not sure that Nerine believed my excuse for wanting to take Alex away but I have faith that Sia can keep her occupied until dinnertime."

Avi nodded and replied, "I understand. It's okay. I thought the same thing but man, I can't believe Nerine wouldn't come to check over Lycoris in this state. I mean, she's just had a major operation and surely, would have wanted her sister by her side. It'd comfort Lycoris for sure."

Ryan sighed sadly and replied, "Yeah, same here. I guess their relationship is more complicated than I thought. Sia and I would have been here for Lycoris if we had known about her operation."

Meanwhile, Alex kept holding on to Lycoris' hands and whispering words of love and comfort towards her, hoping that she could hear them somehow.

Avi nodded and replied, "I know, guys. It's okay really. I was more than pleased to take care of Lycoris but sometimes I wonder if my presence is enough to comfort her."

Meanwhile, Lycoris was becoming a little calmer with Alex's presence, despite moaning softly occasionally. She'd also murmur Alex's name a few times, begging him through broken whispers not to leave her, that she wouldn't live without him.

Ryan replied, "I'm sure you're doing your best, Avi, and it's better than for Lycoris to be alone. I'm certain Alex would be here more often if it weren't for the situation with Nerine right now."

Alex heard Lycoris' words and softly, he replied,

"I won't leave you, Lycoris. I love you so much. I promise I'll find a way for us to be together."

He kept holding her hands and occasionally caressed her cheeks , hoping his caring gestures would comfort her.

(You know, Alex should really stop making promises if he couldn't keep them. XD)

Avi nodded and replied, "I understand. I do my best since I care very much about Lycoris. It just hurts sometimes when I see her in pain and I can't do anything about it, you know?"

Lycoris gradually became calmer than before and could have a more restful sleep, although her hands slowly moved to hold on to Alex's tightly, seeking the comfort of his touch.

(lol I agree but Alex says that he's determined to make both Nerine and Lycoris happy. XD)

Ryan nodded and replied, "I understand. If only things between Nerine and Lycoris were resolved somehow. I'm sure Lycoris wants things to be better between her and Nerine but I'm not sure that Nerine feels the same way."

Alex felt Lycoris continue to hold tightly to his hands and he smiled softly at her, his love for her blossoming ever more. He was happy that Lycoris had calmed down and although part of him wished he could wake her so that they could spend some moments together, he could see that the surgery had taken its toll on her and Lycoris needed the rest more.

(That's nice but he needs to be careful since that will be very tricky. XD)

Avi nodded in agreement and replied, "That's quite true. Lycoris wants nothing more than having things ok between her and Nerine but Nerine feels differently. After all," he paused and his eyes turned to Lycoris for a moment, then he sighed and continued,

"She's the one who caused all this to Lycoris. I still can't believe it very much."

Lycoris felt a lot more restful and continued holding on tightly to Alex, and her moaning and random murmurs turned to quiet, honest whispers of love to Alex and she felt much more at peace.

(That's true. XD)

Ryan looked on sadly at Lycoris before turning his attention back to Avi and replying,

"It's hard for me to believe as well. I mean-there was a time when I hated Bryan but I would have never gone so far as to cause such damage to him."

As Alex continued to hold on to Lycoris and comfort her, he could hear her words of love and gazing lovingly at her, he quietly said,

"I love you, too, Lycoris. I've never stopped loving you. I'll find a way for us to be together. I want us all to be happy."

Avi nodded sadly and replied, "Same here. I've never believed that Nerine is capable pf doing such a thing. Even if she's done it in a moment of madness, she hasn't even tried to make up for it."

Lycoris smiled softly in her sleep, feeling comforted as Alex's words somehow reached her. Her hands never stopped holding on to him, as though in her gesture she was telling him to remain with her, that she wouldn't live without him.
