Romance RP

Seeing William resting himself, Stacey went back to the kitchen to finish preparing her dinner and then to eat. All the while, she wondered whether William was sick and there was the passing thought that he might be showing symptoms of the curse. But then he thought that wouldn't be possible, as William told her that he loved her and the curse wouldn't still be there if that was the case.

I hope William is ok. I'd die if anything happened to him.

William continued resting on the coach, trying to push away the dizziness and sickness he felt all the while. But it was no use. His mind tried to find what was wrong with him, what could be the reason of this, but he could figure nothing out. His mind didn't even remember that it could be because of the curse.

Stacey finished preparing dinner and then quickly ate by herself in the kitchen. Once she was done, she cleaned up the dishes and other items, as she wanted to be with William as quickly as possible.

After everything was all nice and clean, Stacey went to the living room and saw William resting on the couch. She took a seat beside him and said, "I'm all done. Now let me treat you to something special. You'll need to lie face down."

William looked up at Stacey and wondering first what was her special treat, he asked her a bit weakly,

"Umm what's your special treat first, that would need me to lie face down?"

Stacey worried as she observed how weak William looked but then quickly thinking that he was exhausted from work, she replied with a cute pout on her face, "It wouldn't be much of a surprise if I told you but ok. I want to give you a nice relaxing shoulder and back massage. Looks like you need it. I'm pretty good with my hands. You've seen that I can be strong and gentle at the same time."

She hoped that William would allow her to give him a massage and not refuse the offer.

However, William knew he did not need a massage and even if he did, he wouldn't accept her offer. Shaking his head, and trying to press on his headache, his dizziness, he replied,

"Thanks, pretty, but I don't think I need a massage. I am pretty fine, really."

Stacey replied, "But you don't look fine. You know, if I didn't know any better, you seem to be showing symptoms of the curse I had but I know that to be impossible. You love me, right?"

She looked into William's eyes, hoping that he would tell her the truth.

William was struck by what Stacey had said. How couldn't he have thought of that? There was no other reason for him to be so sick but the curse, yet it has completely slipped his mind. Now what could he do? Having the curse means that he didn't love Stacey, opposite to what he had already filled her mind with. And if he denies it now and says that he did love her, the curse symptoms would eventually grow, and then she would eventually know.

He didn't know what to say, how to reply to her, and he just turned his head away, trying to figure out an answer.

Stacey didn't know what to make of William's response. She continued looking at him despite that his gaze averted hers and she said,

"Please, William. Do you love me or not? Or do you at least care about me?"

She figured that if William continued to be silent, then she'd finally have her answer.

William didn't know how to reply and his silence was going to make things worse. If he continued to lie to her, she might believe him but the curse would continue to show its symptoms and he would be eventually uncovered. But if he told her, she would be heart broken at the very least.

Replying after a short silence, he said, "I care, Stacey. I really do. You don't need to question that."

Stacey nodded and softly replied, "I believe you, dearest William. Then I'm not sure how to account for the symptoms. Does it have to do with your heart condition?"

Since she wasn't familiar with the side effects of William's heart operation, she figured that the symptoms could be it although they did seem awfully similar to the curse effects.

William knew that his heart wouldn't do that, as he had had it for a long time and had never gone through such a thing before. He shook his head and replied,

"No, it has nothing to do with my heart. Umm, it is probably me just exhausted or something. Really, why do you worry so?"

Although he thought it would be most probably the curse symptoms, he couldn't reveal himself to Stacey.

Despite the condition that William was in, Stacey managed to crack a small smile and replied playfully, "Isn't it obvious by now, dearest? I love and care about you so. I always want you to be happy and healthy and I'm sure you want the same for me.

Since it's exhaustion, you should probably go to sleep early. If the symptoms still persist in the morning, then we can figure out something."

William nodded and replied, "Yeah, that is probably the best thing to do for now."

He didn't wish to leave Stacey believing in what was not true like that, but he didn't know what else to do.

Stacey then proceeded to prepare the couch so that William would be able to go to sleep comfortably. She fluffed his pillow and spread out his blanket to make sure that his body would be warm. While doing so, she asked,

"Before I leave you for the night, would you like anything? Maybe a glass of warm milk?"

William shook his head and replied, "Thanks, pretty, but no, I am fine. You just sleep well and stop worrying...I'll be okay in the morning, perfectly fine."

Although Stacey still worried about William's condition, she put on a brave smile for him and nodding, she replied, "Ok. Then sleep well, dearest, and I'll see you in the morning."

She gave him a quick hug and getting up, she went to the bedroom, preparing to turn in early herself.

(Ahh btw, it's ok if the curse symptoms go away the next day. As it gets closer to the full effects, then they'll stay longer.)

William got himself ready for some sleep as well, hoping that the tiredness he felt would go away by the next morning.

Stacey grabbed a clean nightgown and then went to the bathroom where she quickly brushed her teeth and washed her face. Then she changed out of her clothes and into her nightgown for the night.

After that was done, she left the bathroom and returned to the bedroom, putting away her clothes. Then she laid down on the bed and covered herself with the blankets, giving a silent wish before falling asleep.

Please let William be better tomorrow. I can't help but worry about him so.

(I'll move on with the next morning then. ^^)

The next morning, William began to open his eyes a little after the sun has brightly shone in the sky. He felt a lot better than the day before, no more tired or dizzy. He was glad and relieved for that, for he didn't want to worry Stacey and make her suspect anything about the curse.

Having more strength today and feeling refreshed, he got up and got himself a change, then entered the bathroom to get ready.

Stacey woke up a little after William did. She slept all right last night although once she was awake, the first thing she thought of was William and whether he was all right.

She got up out of bed, put on a robe and went to the living room to check on him. But William was not there. She heard sounds coming from the bathroom so Stacey surmised that William was getting ready for the day. Then she went back to the bedroom to get a change of clothes and wait for the bathroom to be free.

William soon went out of the bathroom after having had a shower and changed for the day. He felt much better and more refreshed, completely ready for work. He put away his clothes then and went in the kitchen to prepare a simple breakfast for himself.

Stacey waited until William was out of the bathroom and then assuming that he'd go to the kitchen to make breakfast for himself, she decided to pop in and see how he was. She poked her head in the kitchen and seeing that William's condition was much improved, she was happy and greeted him,

"Hey, handsome. Good morning. You're looking healthier. I'm so relieved."

William turned to Stacey as he heard her greet him and smiling back at her, he replied,

"Morning, pretty. Yeah, I am certainly feeling better today. Told you there was no need for your over-worrying."

Stacey nodded and blushing, she replied, "You were right. I can't help but worry about you at times, obviously because I care for you so."

After a brief pause, she continued, "I'm going to take a quick shower and change and then I'll be right back."

Then she went to the bathroom to take her shower.
