Rosaline continued leading the way to the shops. As she was walking, she noticed the happy grin on Ryan's face. With a smile, she said, "You look so happy today. Anything special that happened or what?"

Nerine nodded and replied, "Yup, we had breakfast with Lord Alex just before we come here."

Quickly, Ryan shook his head, doing his best to control the happiness inside although it was a little difficult to do so. He then replied, "Oh no. It's just that I'm so happy that we get to spend the entire day together. You make me feel special, Rosaline."

He looked down at the ground, unaware that he was blushing a bit.

Alex added, "Yup, we sure did. I was surrounded by such beautiful company during breakfast."

Bryan chuckled at Alex's romantic comment and then he replied, "Ahh I see. Well, we should get going then, right?"

Alex replied, "Yup but umm, what about Rosaline? Will she be all right on her own for the day?"

Bryan replied, "Oh yes. I was a little worried but my love said that she'll go off and find something to do. She was heading for a walk outside, perhaps to the park. I'm sure we won't need to worry. And I'll see Rosaline at dinner."

Alex replied, "Ahh ok then. Let's get going."

Bryan nodded and replied, "Then follow me. I'll lead the way."

Bryan then took the lead, heading towards Rosalind's and Greg's house.

(Hmm I think I forgot to reply to Andra's comment to Greg knocking. Oops. lol)

Greg replied, "Good morning. I wanted to let you both know that breakfast will be ready soon so you two should go down, ok?"

(lol)

Rosaline noticed the blush on Ryan's face as he looked down and she sweat dropped, wondering what's up. She replied, "Hmm are you sure? You're blushing a little. You are not sick or anything, are you?"

Nerine and Lisianthus closely followed by Bryan's lead. Nerine was becoming more nervous but she tried to control her nerves as best as she could.

Andra nodded and replied, "Ahh we'll be down soon. Patriaclos and I are almost done here."

Quickly, Ryan looked up and shook his head and tried to keep his cool, despite the blush still on his face. He replied, "Oh no, I'm fine. No fever or anything. Guess the excitement of being with you and having fun today has gotten to me."

He chuckled at his own comment and then quickly added, "So how close are we to the magic shops?"

Edward and Eleanor followed the others, and Alex escorted both Nerine and Lisianthus as they all walked towards Rosalind's and Greg's house. Alex gave Nerine a comforting look, as though he were silently telling her that everything would be ok.

Greg replied, "Ok then. We'll see you in the dining room."

Greg then left to go downstairs and headed towards the kitchen to let Rosalind know that her parents would come down soon.

(Ok, now I should get off to get some sleep since it's late here. I'll be back tomorrow. Nite, nite Love. ^^)

Rosaline looked ahead and she could see the shops from a fair distance. She pointed them out to Ryan and replied, "Ahh if you look there, you will see them. They are not...fancy or anything but they serve a purpose."

Nerine smiled back to Alex and felt a little better, knowing that everyone is there for her. She just hoped that no trouble would happen and that everything will be alright.

Andra finished brushing her hair and she wondered whether Patriaclos was awake or not yet.

Ryan looked on towards where Rosaline pointed out where the magic shops were and indeed, he could see them. As Rosaline had pointed out, they weren't fancy but yet that didn't matter to him. As long as the shops carried what he wanted, he would be satisfied.

Ryan said, "Ahh they look nice. Let's go inside one of them and see what they have to offer."

He took Rosaline's hand and then led the way inside one of the shops.

After some minutes of walking, they all arrived in front of Rosalind's and Greg's house. Bryan took the liberty of knocking and hoped that someone would be at home.

Meanwhile, Patriaclos opened his eyes and saw that Andra was about ready for the day. He got up and yawned and then turned to her and said, "Good morning, dear. Did I wake up late?"

Rosaline blushed as Ryan took her hand like that and led the way but she didn't say anything. Instead, she just followed him inside silently.

Rosalind was busy preparing breakfast when she heard the knock on the door. She wondered who could that be but since she had her hands full, she couldn't go open it. She called out to Greg and said,

"My love, would you mind if you see who's at the door? My hands are kind of full at the moment."

Andra smiled at Patriaclos and replied, "Good morning, sweetheart. Well, a little later than usual but it's ok. You should get up now since Rosalind and Greg are waiting for us downstairs."

Ryan continued to lead the way and headed towards one of the shops. Once he and Rosaline were inside, Ryan held on to her hand, unconsciously forgetting that he was still holding on to it. He took a look at all of the different items that interested him and he liked what they had to offer.

Turning to Rosaline, Ryan asked, "Do you practice magic, too, Rosaline?"

Greg nodded and replied, "Ahh sure, I'll go get the door, my sweet."

He then walked to the front door and opened it and on the other side, he saw Bryan and behind him were Alex, Nerine, Lisianthus, and Alex's parents. Greg was surprised to see them, especially Alex, Nerine, and Lisianthus, but he greeted them with, "Ahh good morning. Please come in."

He then held the door open and Bryan took the lead in entering the house, heading towards the living room.

Patriaclos nodded and replied, "All right, dear. I'll use the bathroom quickly then."

He got up out of bed, went to the closet to get his clothes for the day, and then went into the bathroom to wash up and change.

Rosaline still had the blush on her face but she replied, "I used to but I don't use it very often now. Told you, I prefer physical fighting and all."

Rosalind wondered who was it so she emptied her hands and then decided to go and see who were their guests. She walked to the living room but however, what she saw was not pleasant to her. She saw Alex, Nerine, his parents and Lisianthus. She had a semi-shocked expression on her face.

Ryan replied, "Ahh yes, I see. I can fight physically, too, when I have to. But since a powerful sorcerer raised me, I tend to be stronger in casting magic spells."

He was about to look back at the items when he then noticed the blush on Rosaline's face. His face turned to one of concern and he asked, "Hey, is anything the matter? You're not uncomfortable being with me, are you?"

Alex looked up as he saw Rosalind enter the living room and saw the shocked expression on Rosalind's face. But he couldn't blame her. It had been a long while since they'd seen each other and the last time they did, things went sour. He didn't know what to say.

Greg turned to the group and saw the look on Rosalind's face and felt that he had to do something for his wife, detecting that she felt uncomfortable with such visitors in their home. He got up and said, "Please excuse me. I need to talk to Rosalind alone for a minute." He then walked over to Rosalind and gently escorted her to the kitchen where they could have some privacy.

Once in the kitchen, Greg turned to Rosalind and said, "I know what you're thinking. I was surprised, too, on seeing them. Umm, do you want me to send them away?"

After a few minutes, Patriaclos finished up in the bathroom and went back to the bedroom. Then he walked to the closet to put away his pajamas. He saw that Andra was all done getting ready for the day so he walked up to her with a smile on his face and asked, "Shall we go downstairs and have breakfast, dear?"

Rosaline quickly shook her head but replied, "No, no, not that. But umm...your hand."

She looked at his hand which was holding hers.

Rosalind had a sad expression and replied, "I don't want to see anyone of them here. I can't believe they have the nerves to come."

Ryan followed Rosaline's gaze and realized that he was still holding her hand. He blushed and quickly let go and then replied, "Ahh I'm sorry about that. I didn't realize that I was still holding your hand. Now let's see the items here, ok? There are some that interest me a lot and I'd surely buy them."

Greg quickly hugged Rosaline to try to comfort her. Her sad expression broke his heart, for he saw her pain. He held her in his arms and said gently, "I'll try to get them out of here as quickly as possible, ok? You stay here and I'll say something that you're not feeling well and not up to visitors or something. I think they'll get the hint."

Rosaline replied, "Ahh ok then. I probably wouldn't want to buy anything so why don't you go ahead and look on the stuff you want? Take your time and I'll wait for you."

Rosalind returned the hug and replied, "Thanks a lot, my love. I apologize if this is troublesome or what, but I just...can't bear to see them."

Ryan replied, "Ahh all right then."

He turned his attention to the wares that the shop sold. One of the salesclerk women approached Ryan and started to flirt with him, asking if he needed any help. But he just shook his head and told her that he was fine, for he had only eyes for Rosaline. While he was looking at the items, he couldn't help but cast an occasional glance at Rosaline, which made the salesclerk quite jealous.

Greg shook his head and replied, "Nah, not at all. I don't want you to go through any more pain. I love you so much, Rosalind, and you mean the world to me."

He gave her a gentle kiss and then released her from his arms and then said, "Now I'll go back to the living room and try to get our visitors out of here as soon as possible."

Then he walked out of the kitchen and back towards the living room, where he took a seat. Alex saw that Greg had returned but without Rosalind and he asked his friend, "Umm is Rosalind all right?"

Greg looked down but he quickly answered, "Oh yes, she's fine. She's not feeling well. It's understandable since she's pregnant. Probably morning sickness or something like that."

(You know, I don't blame the salesclerk at all. xD)

Rosaline noticed the glances Ryan was giving her but she didn't really make any reaction. She pretended to be looking around the shop and just waiting for her friend to finish.

Nerine had a semi-sad expression and replied quietly, "Umm that is understandable. It must be hard for her to be pregnant and all."

(lol)

Seeing that Rosaline wasn't reacting in any way to his glances, Ryan resumed his shopping and got some items. But just as he was about to go to the cash register to pay for his items, he spotted an item which interested him highly. It was advertised as a mandarin root and Ryan remembered from his teachings that it supposedly heightened senses between two friends to find out if they were only friends or had the potential to be more. Ryan decided then to get it as well, since it might help him to find out if Rosaline would ever feel the same way about him.

Then he went to the cash register to ring up the purchases. Another salesclerk went to handle his items and put them in a bag. After Ryan paid for everything, he then carried his bag and was about to return to Rosaline when the same salesclerk who had flirted with Ryan earlier put in a small business card with her name and home address on it and she whispered,

"In case your girlfriend later dumps you. I'll have you any way."

Ryan blushed but then quickly he walked back to Rosaline.

Greg turned to Nerine and replied, "Yup but Rosalind bears it the best that she can." He was trying to figure out a way to get his guests out quickly without being rude but he couldn't think of an excuse to do so.

But just then, Eleanor took something out of her purse. It was a small beautifully wrapped box with a purple bow on it. She handed it to Greg and said, "Since Rosalind isn't feeling well, we won't keep you but I had hoped to be better acquainted with her. This is a present for her. It's one of our family heirlooms-a beautiful gold tiara with diamonds and rubies encrusted on it. I hope that she will like it and that we can be friends. I would like that very much."

Greg replied, "Thanks, Lady Carnahan. Let me give this to Rosalind now, ok? I'll be right back."

He then walked back to the kitchen where Rosalind was with the present in his hand.

(lol I cracked up at that salesclerk. Meh, doesn't she know that Ryan is mine? )

Rosaline saw Ryan return and said, "Ahh so are you done? Got everything you want?"

(lol Then you and the salesclerk can fight for Ryan. )

Ryan nodded his head and replied, "Yup, I sure do. This store had a lot of the items I have been looking for for sometime. You know, back in Devenshire, there are some magic shops, too, but Lessire definitely has more and there's a lot more variety, too. I like to look for as many items as possible from which I can practice my magic."

Greg went into the kitchen where he saw Rosalind. He wondered how she was doing and walked up to her, asking,

"My sweet, how are you feeling? I haven't been able to get our visitors out yet but I am trying. Umm Lady Carnahan wanted me to give this to you."

He handed the present over to Rosalind.

Rosaline replied, "Well, Lessire does have a lot of magicians and sorcerers so it isn't very surprising that there are good stuff here and all. Are there many magic users in Devenshire?"

Rosalind looked at the present and then said rather in an angry tone, "And they also have the nerves to give presents? Just...what kind of people those are?"

Ryan replied, "Well, there are a few magic wielders back in Devenshire although not very powerful. I was lucky to have been adopted by a powerful magic wielder and he taught me everything that he knew. He even said that I had the potential to become even more powerful than him as long as I continue practicing my magic and all.

Do you know of any magic wielders here in Lessire? I would love to meet them if that's possible."

(Man, Rosalind's scary. O_O)

Greg could understand why Rosalind was upset although he didn't know what to do. He didn't want to end up giving Lady Carnahan back the present, as that would have been a rude gesture. He put the present on a shelf nearby and then touched Rosalind's shoulder as a way to calm her down. He then said, "I'll chase them away, ok? If I have to, I'll be direct and to the point."

He didnt' like to go the direct route but if he had no choice, for the sake of his Rosalind, he may not have a choice.

Rosaline replied, "Well, my sister and my father are magic users, and better than am I. But I am not really sure you can meet them."

Rosalind sighed and replied, "I feel I am causing troubles but I am just trying to do my best containing myself. It just hurts."

Ryan was momentarily confused but then he remembered that they didn't know about his existence at all, only Bryan's, and they would be confused if they met him. He replied, "Ahh yes, I see. Well, let's get going, shall we? Where do you think we should go next?"

Greg nodded and replied, "It's ok. I understand. Just remember how much I love you and that you are everything to me."

He leaned in to give Rosalind a gentle kiss.

Rosaline replied, "Hmm what do you want to do? I am kind of mind-blank at the moment, and I don't really know what kind of places would like to visit."

Rosalind sweetly and passionately returned the kiss, grateful that Greg is there for her.

Ryan noted that it was still a little early for lunch so he replied, "Hmm how about we take a tour of Lessire? You can show me what places you think are interesting. How does that sound?"

He gave Rosalind a smile, faintly similar to one that Bryan would give her.

Greg continued to kiss Rosalind for a few more precious moments and then broke off the kiss, remembering that they had guests in the living room wondering what was going on. He turned to her and said, "I'll go get our guests out of here and then we can have breakfast with your parents."

He then got up and walked out of the kitchen, back to the living room.

Rosaline smiled back and replied, "Alright then. Would you like to see...the theater perhaps? That's where actors perform and all."
