Alex replied, "And you are my eternal light."

He gave Lycoris a light kiss on her forehead.

Helena grinned and replied, "That was a wonderful reward from my teacher."

She looked curious and slyly asked, "If I continue to do well, will I receive many more such rewards?"

Lycoris and Alex continued enjoying each other's company for a few more sweet moments, but then Lycoris smiled a bit and said,

"I guess we should get up now? The others might have been up and about by now."

Nathan smiled slyly back at Helena and replied, "Definitely and much more. The faster you learn and progress, the more prizes you'll see coming at you."

He paused then said, "Do you want to take a break? You're doing great but I don't want to exhaust you."

Alex nodded and replied, "Yup, that's true.  How about I help you get ready first and then you can wait for me while I get ready?  Then we can go down to have breakfast after with the others."

Helena looked thoughtful and nodding, she replied, "Just a short break.  It's probably not a good idea to overdo it, right?"

(Ahh yeah, I'll be doing some editing so I might not be able to post again until later.  Just letting you know.  ^^)

Lycoris smiled and nodding, she said, "Ok, sounds great."

She waited for Alex to get up and she got up as well, then waited for him to help her to the bathroom to wash up and such.

Nathan nodded and replied, "That's right. You're just starting out and your body is not adapted to casting huge amounts of magic. If you overdo it, you'll take a toll on yourself."

He led Helena to a nearby bench where she could sit and rest for a little bit.

(Thanks.  I just finished my first pass editing so I'm taking a break now.  I'm not sure if I'll check the edits this evening or tomorrow.  It'll depend on my mood but yeah, if I hold off until tomorrow, then I can probably get back to usual RP posting this evening.  ^^)

As Alex escorted Lycoris to the bathroom, he asked, "Do you want me to prepare a bath for you?  I can lay out your things and such and you can take your time."

Helena followed Nathan to the bench and happily sat down beside him.  Curiously, she asked,

"Am I your first student?"

(Coolies. I am in the pharmacy alone today but I'll post as much as I can and if it's quiet as usual, I'll be able to post regularly if you are here and all. XD)

Lycoris nodded and replied, "I would appreciate that very much if it isn't much trouble and I'll be quick."

Nathan smiled a little and nodding, he said,

"Well, I suppose you are if we only count real lessons with spells taught and practiced. But Ilya had taken a few simple lessons from me about the flow of magic in her body so I don't know if that counts as well."

(Ok.  ^^)

Alex shook his head and replied, "It's no trouble at all and hey, you can take your time.  You just wait here and I'll prepare your bath."

He escorted Lycoris to a chair and then went into the bathroom to prepare a warm bath and lay out Lycoris' things.

Helena nodded and replied, "I see.  Well, you are a very good teacher and I suppose it must help that I'm a very good student."

She winked playfully at Nathan.

Lycoris waited patiently while Alex prepared the bath for her. She had a warm smile on her face and despite the situation, she was feeling at peace because Alex was there.

Nathan couldn't help but chuckle lightly and replied,

"That you are. It's hard to believe you're human sometimes, unless humans have a natural aptitude for magic as well? But you learn quite fast as though you're a natural."

Alex finished preparing the bath and then he left the bathroom, approaching Lycoris.  Happily, he said,

"Your bath's ready."

He helped Lycoris up and then escorted her to the bathroom.  There, he guided her hands to the towels, bathrobe, and then the bath.  Then he said,

"You take your time and call for me when you're done.  I'll get your clothes in the meantime."

Helena looked thoughtful and replied, "Well, I know that more humans used to practice magic.  With each generation, though, the ability seems to fade.  Very few humans can naturally use magic now although the kings and queens always have magic advisers close at hand."

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Ok. Thanks a lot, Alex."

She gave him a soft smile then after he went out of the bathroom, she closed the door and got off her nightgown and started to take her bath, refreshing herself for the day.

Nathan looked intrested and replied, "I see. And do you have magical schools at such around your world to take care of those with the talent? It's like this here. Unlike your world, very few people here wouldn't have magical abilities, although to varying degrees of course.

Could it be that you inherit the ability from your ancestors? I did give you the powers but you are learning how to control them easily so it gives me that thought."

As Lycoris took her bath, Alex took out a beautiful pink dress along with a hairbrush for Lycoris to change into.  He laid out her dress on the bed and then waited for Lycoris to finish up.

Helena replied, "We don't have magical schools.  For those who do have the ability, they're usually taken in as apprentices.  

As for me, I suppose it's possible that my ancestors might have once had magical abilities.  Mom never mentioned anything although it's possible that Dad's side could have."

Lycoris took her bath and soon finished up. She got out of the tub, dried herself and changed into a bathrobe. Once she was all done, she reached out to the door and opening it slightly, she peeked out of it and said,

"I am done, Alex."

Nathan nodded slowly then he said,

"It's possible but it makes little difference. What matters is that you have the natural skill and with enough practice, you'll become even more powerful. Definitely worthy of being my equal."

He smiled seductively at her.

Alex took the dress and approaching Lycoris, he handed it to her and asked,

"Umm can you change into this dress?  I can help you with the buttons once you're in it if you want."

Helena smiled lovingly at Nathan and replied, "I do love the sound of that."

She leaned in to give Nathan a sweet, loving kiss on the lips.

(I decided to just rest and all for the evening since I'm kind of tired and I haven't fully recovered on sleep yet.  I'll be gaming but I'll check in when I can.  ^^)

(Coolies, no problem. ^^ I'll be here so whenever you feel like posting and all, I am here. XD)

Lycoris blushed a little but nodding, she said, "Ok. I'll change into it and then call you to help me with the buttons."

She took the dress from Alex and closed the bathroom's door after her again. She changed out of the bathrobe and into the dress, with only the buttons at the back needing to be adjusted. She opened the bathroom's door once more and said,

"I am done, Alex."

Nathan returned the kiss lovingly, pouring all his passion into it. There was no doubt that his feelings for Helena were quite strong but there was still that lingering doubt on the back of his mind. Did she truly return his feelings? Was everything she said and did sincere?

(Ok.  XD)

Alex approached Lycoris and then he reached behind her back, buttoning up her dress.  After he was done with that, he got the hairbrush and gently brushed Lycoris' hair, making it fall beautifully over her shoulders.

Once he was done, he smiled softly at her and commented,

"You look lovely as always, Lycoris."

Helena continued to kiss Nathan for a few more sweet, loving moments and once the kiss was over, with flushed cheeks, Helena said,

"I love you, Nathan."

Lycoris blushed deeply and replied, "Thanks, Alex. I do but it's all thanks to you."

She paused then said, "You can get ready yourself now. I'll wait for you and take your time."

Nathan was blushing slightly himself and he could hear his heart beating rapidly in his chest. He gazed deeply into Helena's eyes and tentatively asked,

"Do you? Is it true, coming out straight from your heart? You don't think of me as your enemy, or resent me in any way?"

Alex nodded and replied, "Ok.  Let's go to my room and you can rest there while I shower and get dressed."

He helped Lycoris to get up and together, they walked out of her room and then to Alex's.  There, Alex placed Lycoris in a chair and said,

"Ok, you wait here while I go shower.  I guess I can wear these clothes since I didn't bring a change with me but it's ok."

He smiled at her and then went into the bathroom to shower.

Helena replied softly,

"I do love you.  I love you so very much.  I don't hate you.  Sure, I mean, maybe there are times I think your actions may be a bit rash but I understand why you do them.  I-You're the one, Nathan."

Her cheeks blushed a deep red as she said those latter words.

Lycoris waited patiently in her chair while Alex showered and got ready for the day. Her mind wandered to the current situation and she wondered how the others were doing. She was worried about Nerine and hoped she was fine, that the captain hadn't harmed her.

Nathan blushed even deeper as she heard those words and although he was silent for a moment, his expression changed into a kind, soft one and as he gazed lovingly at Helena, he replied,

"I-I love you, too. I am sure I do because I never felt this way towards anyone ever. I want you to be with me all the time, I want to protect you and I want you there on every step I take. I love you very much too, Helena."

Alex showered quickly and after drying off, he put on his clothes and combed his hair.  Once he looked presentable, he returned to Lycoris and smiling, he said,

"Ok, I'm all ready for the day as well.  You're probably hungry.  I should go whip us up something.  It's been a while since I cooked."

Helena blushed even deeper and she just gazed lovingly at Nathan, her heart beating rapidly, her eyes shining with love for Nathan.  She only wanted to be with him, for there was only him.

(Sorry for the delay. I was ambushed by customers. XD)

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, "And I miss your cooking. I remember that you made some of the most delicious food ever."

Nathan gazed back fondly at Helena, admiring her every detail. She was perfect in his eyes and if he would truly have her support, he would overcome anything.

Turning away as he still blushed, he said with the smile still on his face, "Well, do you want to continue your lesson?"

(lol  No problem.  I've been slow as well.  Finally 100% completed the game I just finished.  XD)

Alex smiled softly and replied, "I remember you enjoyed my cooking.  Ok then.  Let's go downstairs and see what everyone wants."

He helped Lycoris get to her feet and then the couple went downstairs to the kitchen.

Helena nodded happily and replied, "Sure, I should continue to learn and practice so I can get better and master my magic, right?"

(Coolies, congrats. XD)

Lycoris followed Alex downstairs so they could have breakfast. In the kitchen, the shapeshifter was already up and about, and she had already started to prepare breakfast for everyone.

She could hear Alex and Lycoris coming downstairs but she didn't say anything.

Nathan nodded and smiling, he said, "Definitely."

He held Helena's hand and led her gently to the arena floor once more. He said, "Is there anything on mind that you would like to learn next? Or should I proceed with the next spell that comes to mind?"

(Thanks.  XD  I'm currently writing a review on Steam for it and then I think I'll turn in for the night after.  ^^)

Alex nodded to the shapeshifter and said, "Good morning.  Where's Matt?  He's not up yet?"

Just then, Matthew came downstairs and seeing that everyone was already downstairs, he said,

"Looks like I'm the last one."

Helena smiled and replied, "I want my teacher to decide."

She gazed happily at him.

(Ok. XD)

Lycoris smiled softly at Matthew and said, "Good morning, Matthew. I hope you had a good night's sleep."

The shapeshifter said, "You all wake up quite late, you know. I am usually up before sunrise. Well, seat yourselves. I am almost done here."

Lycoris asked Alex curiously but quietly, "Is the shapeshifter cooking?"

She looked surprised that she was capable of such a thing.

Nathan smiled and after a moment of thought, he said,

"How about summoning more than one tornado at once to surround an enemy? You need to practice using more than one spell at a time."

Matthew raised an eyebrow upon the shapeshifter's comment although he didn't say anything.

Meanwhile, Alex looked at Lycoris and replied quietly, "Yup, she is."

He turned to the shapeshifter and asked, "What are you cooking?"

Helena looked intrigued by the idea and nodding in agreement, she replied,

"Sure, that would be pretty awesome to learn.  I'm all for it."
