Helena blushed deeply as Nathan carried her in his arms and she replied,

"I'm not going to protest when my teacher insists on rest."

Ryan looked around and shaking his head, he replied,

I've got nothing.  I guess we should head back out the way we came.  I hope the others had better luck.

Nathan smiled and nodding, he said, 

"Good. I'll take you to your room then. It isn't that late yet so maybe I'll stay with you for a little more while you rest, unless you've grown tired of my company."

He winked slyly at her then carrying her in his arms, he walked out of the arena and to Helena's room.

Lisianthus nodded and she led the way back carefully so they returned safely without catching anyone's attention. They made it back at the servants' area and then Lisianthus said,

Could you teleport us back outside, cutie?

Helena giggled and replied, "Awww I'll never tire of your company, Nathan."

She looked on happily at Nathan as he carried her back towards her room where she could rest.

Ryan replied,

You got it, beautiful.


He then teleported Lisianthus and himself back outside and then they walked away from the mansion and back to where the soldiers and pegasi were waiting.

Nathan smirked and continued walking with Helena in his arms until he finally reached her room. He opened the door then walked to the bed and there, he gently laid Helena down. He then brought himself a chair and sitting by her side, he said,

"Now you're getting some rest, love. Do you want me to get you anything? A glass of water maybe?"

Lisianthus and Ryan made it back to the soldiers and as Ryan let down the invisibility spell, she gave the soldiers a look that they were leaving and there was nothing there. She sighed to herself and said,

"What if Lady Penelope and the chancellor don't find anything either? It's becoming difficult."

Helena nodded happily and replied,

"Sure, water sounds great."

Ryan replied, "I know.  We'll just have to keep thinking..."

Suddenly, he said, "Wait.  What if I try contacting Nerine or Helena?  Assuming that they're not prevented from doing so, I could try to find out that way."

Nathan smiled and nodding, he said, "Alright."

He got up and went to a nearby table where there was a jug of cool water and an empty glass. He poured some water into the glass then handing it to Helena, he said,

"Here you go."

Lisianthus nodded eagerly and replied,

"Yes, yes, why didn't we think of that before? Please do so, cutie. And do know how well they're doing. I hope that captain hasn't laid a hand on them or else."

Helena smiled and taking the glass of water from Nathan, she replied,

"Thanks, Nathan."

She then took a sip of water and then added, "Yup, this is what I needed.  Well, and your loving presence, too."

She smiled softly at Nathan.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok.  I'll go contact Nerine first."

He closed his eyes and opening up the telepathy, he reached out to Nerine and said,

Nerine, it's me, Ryan.  Are you there?  Can you hear me?

Nathan returned the smile gently and taking back his seat beside Helena, he looked apologetically at her and said,

"It was a bit too early teaching you such a powerful spell. I am sorry. I should have been more careful choosing what to teach you but I suppose I was too excited training you to become as strong as possible."

Nerine was still resting in bed when she heard Ryan communicating with her. Despite that she didn't like him, at that moment, she couldn't be happier that he was contacting her. She replied,

Yes, yes, I can hear you, Ryan. Alex told you of what happened? Please tell me you're looking for us.

Helena shook her head and replied, "No, I should challenge myself, right?  I know I can do it.  It might take time but I'll keep practicing and I'll get better.  And you'll help me, right?"

She looked on happily at Nathan, not blaming him at all for what happened earlier.

Ryan replied,

Yes, we are.  Alex told us of what happened to you and Helena.  How are you two doing?  Do you know where you are now?

Nathan smiled softly and nodding, he said, 

"Of course I will. I love your spirit. We'll keep practicing until you can be as powerful as ever, to fight by my side as my partner, my love and my equal."

He gazed fondly at her, truly thinking of her as his own treasure.

Nerine replied,

No, I have no idea but Helena knows. Umm our situations are a little different. She's somehow earned the captain's trust so he's given her more freedom. I am sure she can tell you where we are if you contact her.

Helena nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's right.  I'll keep practicing and training and getting myself stronger.  I can do it.  I won't give up."

She smiled and added, "Besides, magic is so wonderful.  I feel like all these endless possibilities open up when I learn more."

Ryan replied,

I see.  So you're still a prisoner but technically, Helena isn't?  How are you being treated?

Nathan smiled and nodding, he said,

"I couldn't have said it better myself. Magic grants you incredible strengths and abilities and there's always more to learn."

Nerine replied,

Yes, you can put it like that. I am being treated well now, better than before. I guess it's Helena's influence. 

Helena replied, "Yup, that's right and I want to learn more and get stronger, so I'll keep trying.  But I guess it's best that I rest for tonight, right?"

Ryan replied,

I see.  Ok, I'll try contacting Helena and find out where you two are.  Also, I can leave a message for Alex if you want to send him one.  He can't make contact with you at the moment since he's at my place and telepathy won't work there.

Nathan nodded and replied,

"Yup, that's right. It's best that you take it easy so you don't burn yourself out. It could have you not able to cast magic for sometime if you overdo it and there is no need for that, right?"

Nerine was saddened as she heard what Ryan said and replied,

I see. Umm he's not looking for me with you?

Helena looked surprised as she heard what Nathan said and replied,

"Really?  It could be that bad?  Wow, I don't want that to happen."

Ryan gently replied,

He would but Sia and I thought it better that he stay behind.  That captain communicated with him earlier and Alex looked deeply distressed.  We thought it best that he stay at my place so the captain can't reach him.  But don't worry.  There are plenty of us looking for you and Helena.  Sia has dispatched lots of her soldiers on the search.  We won't stop until we find you.

Nathan nodded and replied, 

"Of course. Magic drains from your energy when you use it and if you are not strong enough or if you use it carelessly, it can take a toll on you. That's why it's necessary you don't overdo it and never cast a spell you feel is too powerful for you, ok?"

Nerine couldn't help but still feel disappointed that Alex wasn't looking for her with the others, but she tried her best to hide that in her voice as she replied,

Umm ok. Just let him know that I miss him and that I am doing my best to stay strong. That's all.

Helena nodded and replied, "I understand.  You just let me know if you think I'm pushing myself too much.  I really want to do my best, especially for you."

She smiled a bit at Nathan.

Ryan replied,

I'll let him know.  Take care of yourself and I'll contact you again when I can.

Nathan returned the smile lovingly and replied,

"I will. I do want you to become the most powerful and fiery woman in the whole world but I care about your health first and foremost."

He reached out to hold her hand gently and kissed it gently.

Nerine replied,

Please do. I-I'll look out for myself as much as I can. Thank you, Ryan.

Helena blushed happily and replied,

"Thank you, Nathan.  I love and care so much about you."

She smiled at him, her heart full of love and warmth for him.

Ryan replied,

No problem.  I'll contact you again.


He then shut off the telepathy and turning to Lisianthus, he said,

"I just talked to Nerine."

He then summarized the conversation he had with Nerine.

Nathan gazed happily at Helena and his heart swelling with love for her, he wrapped his arms around her and leaned in for a sweet, passionate kiss.

Lisianthus listened to what Ryan said carefully and after he was finished, she immediately said,

"Ok, we must contact Helena immediately. She may be able to tell us where the captain is."

Helena happily returned the kiss, pouring all of her love and passion into it.  She just felt so wonderful being around Nathan and she couldn't see him as anything less than the best.

Ryan nodded and replied,

"We should but based on what I understand, I should probably wait until I'm sure that Helena is alone, so the captain doesn't suspect that I'm communicating with her."

(Hmm, how should we resolve this time difference since I'm assuming it's afternoon for Ryan and the others but it's nighttime for Helena and Nathan and Nerine?)

(Ahh it's evening for Lisianthus and Ryan as well since the records of Nathan's property weren't ready before then. xD)

Nathan continued kissing Helena for a few more sweet moments, savoring every moment he spent with her. She was like the angel that lightened his life and he wouldn't trade her presence for anything else.

The kiss was eventually broken and gazing happily at her, he said, "I love you, Helena."

Lisianthus nodded and replied, 

"Yes, that makes sense. Should we wait until it's around bedtime? She'd definitely be alone then and you can communicate with her then. It's around an hour or something from now."

(Sorry for the delay in posting, btw. I am alone at the pharmacy and all. XD)

(Ahh ok.  And no problem.  XD)

Helena smiled lovingly at Nathan and replied, "And I love you, Nathan."

She reached up to gently touch Nathan's cheek, her eyes lit up with love for him.

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, that would definitely make sense.  In the meantime, should we reconvene with the others?"

Nathan gazed into Helena's eyes warmly, a slight blush on his face and his hand reached out to touch hers gently. He softly said,

"You'll stay with me for all the time, right? I want you with me always."

Lisianthus nodded and replied, 

"Yeah, let's go back to the others. Unless they have found anything, they'll return there as well."

She led the way back to where Melody was, got on her and helped Ryan up behind her. Then she took off to the air, with her soldiers following behind.

Helena nodded and replied,

"Yes, of course.  I never want to be apart from you.  You'll love me always, forever, right?  Because I know I always will."

Ryan held on to Lisianthus as she led the party away and back towards the rendezvous point.  He hoped that Lady Penelope and the others had found something although he would contact Helena later.
