Romance RP

Lycoris blushed a little as Matthew hugged her but grinning proudly, she replied, 

"See? I told you I could find you. Don't underestimate my ears. I have a pretty sharp hearing ability."

Matthew chuckled and replied, "Yup, you sure do."

He held Lycoris in his arms and felt happy and carefree as they had fun together.

(I'll get off for the night now since I have a couple of other things to take care of but I'll post again in the morning before I go to work and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

(Sorry I couldn't post before now. Had to go to the pharmacy then came back pretty exhausted and all but I am here now. XD)

Lycoris nodded happily and felt quite happy and carefree as well. She happily said,

"I want it to be your turn now but I don't think I would be able to hide from you when I can't see myself, right?"

(Ahh no worries.  XD)

Matthew cocked his head to the side and replied, "Yeah, that would be a problem.  Well, you know, maybe we could play tag?  I mean, you can run away from me and I try to catch you.  What do you think?"

Lycoris grinned happily and replied, 

"Yes, great. I'd love that. Then you should start getting ready then because I will definitely run after you and I will catch you."

Matthew chuckled and slyly replied, "Oh really now?  So you want to chase after me?  Is that how it is?"

He winked at her, liking this game they were having.

Lycoris smiled slyly and replied, "Let's see if you can run away from me. I will chase you as long as I can and I will definitely catch you in the end."

Matthew continued to chuckle and then replied, "All right then.  Let's do this.  On the count of three, two, one..."

He then ran away from Lycoris, going as fast as he could, not holding back.

Lycoris smirked as Matthew ran away from her and immediately ran after him, not holding anything back either. However, she was also being careful as she didn't want to smack into something, but followed the sound of his footsteps to know which direction he headed to.

As Matthew ran, he would look back to see if Lycoris was behind him and yup, she was close behind.  He was impressed by how well she could track him and continued to run with all of his might.

Lycoris continued to run after Matthew as fast as she could while looking out for the road, and as she could still hear Matthew's footsteps clearly, she guessed that she was close. She happily said,

"I will catch you, Matthew. Don't think you can get away from me."

Matthew chuckled although he did his best to keep his chuckling quiet as he continued to run from Lycoris.  Secretly, he did want her to catch him and to feel her arms around him.

Lycoris continued running after Matthew and she was starting to get closer to him and extended her arms so that she would be able to feel him once she was close enough. She would almost catch him and happily said,

"I am almost there. You should run faster if you don't want me to catch you."

Matthew playfully stuck out his tongue at Lycoris and continued to run, increasing his speed, making it more difficult for her to catch him although he definitely wanted to be caught by her.

Lycoris could tell from the sounds from Matthew's footsteps that he ran faster and she increased her speed as well. Extending her arms, she was finally able to put them around Matthew's waist and happily announced, 

"I caught you!"

Matthew laughed happily as Lycoris caught him and he happily replied, "So you did.  You're quite the remarkable woman, you know."

He gazed happily at Lycoris and gently reached out to touch and caress her right cheek.

Lycoris laughed happily and her cheeks were all rosy from the running but also from how warm she felt. She kept her arms around him as she happily said,

"Don't underestimate me. Even without using my powers, I can do just fine although I admit, I had to run quite a bit to catch you."

(Hmm I think that it is going to be the other Lycoris falling for Matthew after all, not the real one. XD)

Matthew replied, "Well, I wasn't going to make it easy on you, you know.  I have a feeling that you like a challenge or am I wrong?"

He looked slyly at Lycoris, waiting for her reply.

Lycoris returned the sly looks at Matthew and happily replied,

"But of course and that's why I enjoyed this very much. I wouldn't have liked it if you went easy on me, you know."

Matthew chuckled and replied, "Yup, I thought so and hey, you gave me quite the work out.  You're quite fit, too.  You definitely are stronger than you look."

Lycoris smirked and approaching Matthew's face a little closer, she slyly said,

"Definitely. And well, I guess you are more than just a doctor after all. You have a lot of talents too. Playing the piano, riding horses and running so fast..."

Matthew blushed and replied, "Well, I guess we're both full of surprises, aren't we?"

He felt out of breath from running but his heart beat faster than ever upon being close to Lycoris like this.

Lycoris nodded happily and smirking, she said, "Definitely. That will make us the best of friends, won't it?"

She had a sly tone as she asked her question.

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup and you know, maybe even closer than friends."

He answered her in an equally sly tone.

Lycoris was quite happy to hear Matthew's reply although she didn't let it show on her face. Approaching him a little more until their noses almost touched, she replied with the same sly tone,

"Aha, really? So best friends, perhaps?"
