Romance RP

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, I sure do.  You really are wonderful, you know.  I wish more people would see what I see in you."

He smiled softly at her, meaning every word.

Lycoris was surprised to hear what Matthew said, and unable to contain that feeling, she replied with genuine confusion,

"Do you mean that, talking about me? Or about the other Lycoris?"

Matthew replied, "Well, I meant about both of you although you're really one and the same, right?  Most people don't get that, I believe?  But I understand."

Lycoris was still surprised for a moment, but then smiling a little, she said,

"Yes, that's right. I guess I still can't believe that I finally found a person who understands that and doesn't differentiate between us two, or call her the real one and I am some fake thing."

Matthew replied, "Well, I think most people don't understand but I get it.  I was confused at first, I admit, but I understand that you're both one and the same.  I like and accept all of you."

He smiled softly at Lycoris and reached out to touch her hands.

Lycoris continued smiling and gently squeezing Matthew's hands, she replied,

"Thanks, Matthew. I guess I was right when I felt that I could trust and believe in you. You didn't let me down."

Matthew replied, "And I'll be here for you always.  Listen, I'm going to help you restore your eyesight and I'll even make it a point to talk to the others, get them to understand you.  You deserve to have a life of your own.  It's only natural and right."

Lycoris' eyes lit up with hope and happiness, as she could tell that Matthew's words were truly genuine. She happily said, 

"You'll really do that? So you won't help them take away my powers, and my life?"

Matthew nodded and replied, "I will.  I am convinced about you and I'll do my best to talk to the others and get them to understand.  I know it's important to save the devils' world but I understand that you don't want to sacrifice your life and what you want is more important to me.  Besides, I am a doctor and I am sworn to save lives, right?"

He winked at her and smiled genuinely.

(I'll go ahead and get off for the night now but I'll be back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris smiled genuinely as well and replied,

"Yes, that's right. Thanks, Matthew. I am glad that I could finally find someone who truly understands."

She reached out to give him a grateful hug, which was a little unusual for this side of Lycoris.

(I read your reply to my PM and thanks.  I'm not going to change it right now although probably soon.  XD)

Matthew smiled and returned Lycoris' hug, feeling like he was getting closer and understanding her more.  They enjoyed being in each other's embrace for a while and Matthew wished that the moment could last forever.

Lycoris enjoyed the embrace as well for a few moments before it eventually broke off, and then she excitedly said,

"If you're done playing music, let's go outside. I want to play a little, run around, do something fun."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Sure, that sounds fun."

He got up and after helping Lycoris to her feet, the two of them headed outside to run around and play for a while.

After the two were outside, Lycoris happily said,

"What do you want to play? Maybe hide and seek? It's pretty fun to play."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Sure.  What do you want to play as?  Do you want to hide or find me?"

Lycoris looked thoughtful then happily said, 

"Let me find you first. Let's see if I can still find you without having eyesight."

Matthew replied, "Sure.  I'll go ahead and find a hiding place and you count to 20 and then find me, ok?"

Lycoris nodded and replied, 

"Okay then. I'll start counting in a moment so you should find a hiding place pretty quick."

She waited for a moment then started counting to 20.

Matthew grinned and then he found a suitable place to hide, behind the wall of the house, and stayed quiet, waiting for Lycoris to find him.

Lycoris finished counting and then started going around the garden carefully, reaching out with her arms as she tried to find Matthew. She had listened carefully to the sounds of his steps and tried to guess the direction he went to as she happily said,

"Where are you, Matthew? I will definitely find you."

Matthew covered his mouth but couldn't help but laugh quietly a little, doing his best to muffle his sounds so that Lycoris would have difficulty finding him.

(Random but I have an extra Steam key for Backstage Pass and I wonder if you want it?  It's made by the same devs who made Re: Alistair.  ^^)

(Ahh coolies, yup, that would be great. ^^ I took a look at the game a while back and it looks fun. ^^)

As Lycoris had her ears up attentively, she could hear a muffled sound coming from the direction she was going at. Guessing that she was on the right track, she continued towards the sound and continued reaching out with her hands as she said, 

"I'll find you, Matthew. I am pretty close, I am sure!"

Matthew did his best to keep quiet and still, wondering how long it would take for Lycoris to find him.  He dared not move from his place, as he thought that Lycoris might hear any movements he might make.

Lycoris continued looking around and reaching out with her arms until she was finally able to touch Matthew and holding his arm, she happily said, 

"I found you!"

Matthew chuckled and wrapping his arms around Lycoris in a loving hug, he replied,

"Yup, you sure did.  Excellent job in finding me."
