Romance RP

(Nite, nite, phoenix. ^^)

Lycoris sighed sadly as she heard what Matthew said and after a few moments of silence, she replied quietly,

"Because...because it is why I exist. This whole thing about the devils' world being destroyed one day and my powers saving it...it is the whole reason my parents saved my life in the first place. If this all didn't exist, I wouldn't have either."

Matthew turned to Lycoris and said, "Well, I'd like to believe that you exist because you are meant to be here, to live your life, to be happy.  I know you aren't like everyone else but you are special and that makes you all the more wonderful."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, 

"That's really nice of you to say, Matt. You're a wonderful person, too. Despite how much trouble I've caused you, you continue to help me so."

Matthew replied, "You haven't caused me trouble.  You've made my life more interesting.  I'm sure Dad would say the same thing.  We haven't had this much excitement ever, and it is nice having more people over at the house."

Lycoris couldn't help but giggle a little and replied, 

"Is that so? So I guess having us all around is a change from the routine of studying and checking on patients, right?"

Matthew chuckled and replied, "Yup, that's true."

He gently touched Lycoris' hand and added, "No matter what happens, I'll forever be grateful for this adventure we've had and for you being a part of my life."

Lycoris blushed a little and replied softly, 

"Thank you, Matt. I feel grateful too that I've had the chance to meet you, know you and get close to you. I owe you a lot."

Matthew replied, "You don't owe me anything, Lycoris, but I'll always stay by your side and just be here for you."

He looked out at his surroundings, just enjoying the time together with Lycoris.

Lycoris smiled softly and took a deep breath, trying to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and fresh air without thinking too much of the troubles on her mind.

As Matthew continued to enjoy the peace and quiet with Lycoris, he thought that a chance in topic might be a good idea so he asked,

"Are you looking forward to Helena visiting this afternoon?  I can't wait to see what dresses she has prepared for you."

(Sorry I couldn't post at all today. Woke up early but I had to study and then lots of house chores. XD I'll post more tomorrow hopefully. ^^)

Lycoris smiled softly and nodding, she said, 

"Yes, indeed. I am curious about the dresses, too. I mean, I won't really be able to see them but you can tell me how good I look."

(No worries.  ^^)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, I sure will.  I know you'll look great in them and Helena is a talented designer.  I mean, though, you're already beautiful so I don't know how she can make you even more so."

Lycoris couldn't help but blush shyly but she replied, 

"Thanks, Matt. I can't wait to try them on and hear what everyone thinks. I am sure Helena's works can make anyone look even more beautiful and standing out."

Matthew replied, "Well, Helena is a very talented designer so I can't wait to see what she has for you."

He smiled softly at Lycoris and enjoyed her company as the morning wore on.

Lycoris smiled softly as well and continued enjoying the morning in Matthew's company as well, thankful that her other personality hadn't tried to take back control yet. 

As the couple continued to enjoy each other's company, Lady Penelope happened to go outside to spend some time in the gardens as well. She noticed the couple and could tell by Lycoris' soft looks which one was in control. Smiling gently, she said,

"Good day, sweet darlings. Enjoying the beautiful weather, I see?"

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, we sure are.  Lycoris wanted to get some fresh air and this sure was a good idea.  Would you like to join us, my lady?"

Lady Penelope nodded happily and replied, "If you don't mind, of course, I would like to."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, "Of course not, my lady. Please join us."

Lady Penelope nodded with a smile and took a seat near the couple. She asked, "How was your morning, sweeties?"

Matthew replied, "Definitely quieter and calmer now than before.  And how are you and your daughter?"

He gave Lady Penelope a look, as though telling her that they should talk privately later.

Lady Penelope immediately understood Matthew's look and nodded quietly to him, then said, 

"We're fine. I came out here to enjoy the beautiful weather but my daughter has to mind some business of her own. Well, you know how she is."

She giggled a bit with an apologetic smile.

Matthew smiled softly and replied, "Yes, I understand.  I do feel bad about upsetting her earlier even though that wasn't my intention.  I hope she knows that."

He hoped that Lady Penelope had been able to calm the shapeshifter somewhat.

(Ok, I'm going to get off for the night now and take care of a couple of things before I go to sleep.  I'll probably be able to post again in the morning.  I have a busy work day tomorrow but it should be fine.  Anyway, nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

(Sorry I couldn't post at night. I was supposed to post after I make it back from the pharmacy but yeah, I was pretty exhausted. :/ Anyways, I'll make this post now and head to college so I will be only able to post again at night and all. ^^)

Lady Penelope smiled softly and replied,

"I am sure that inside, she totally knows and understands. Please forgive her if she said or behaved in any way that upset you, dear. My daughter is truly kind inside but she can be quite hot-headed at times."

(Awww it's all right.  I understand how that can be.  ^^)

Matthew shook his head and replied, "It's quite all right, my lady.  I would have felt bad if she had remained upset at me.  She is lucky to have you.  I hope she knows that."

Lady Penelope smiled softly and replied, 

"Thanks, darling. That's kind of you to say."

She paused then asked, "So how are things? I hope Lycoris is feeling calmer now?"

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, she's feeling better now but you can ask her yourself."

He nodded his head towards Lycoris, as she sat quietly to enjoy the morning weather.

Lycoris smiled softly and nodding, she replied, "Yes, I am feeling better now. It's all thanks to Matt's help."

She paused then said, "I apologize for anything my other personality said. You-you know that it's not really me talking then, right?"

Lady Penelope nodded in understanding and replied, "Don't worry about it, darling. I understand."
