Romance RP

Alex smiled softly at Lady Penelope and replied,

"Welcome back, my lady.  Thank you for taking care of the clean up for us."

Ryan tearfully replied, "Y-y-you hate me, don't you?  I've hurt you so much.  I-I can't do anything right.  I'm horrible.  I'm horrible.  I'm horrible..."

He kept repeating those words to himself, convinced of their meaning.

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lady Penelope smiled to Alex and said, "You're welcome, darling. It was no problem at all."

Meanwhile, Lycoris felt a little sad, as Ryan hadn't shown up yet and they only had the afternoon left.

Despite how upset and hurt Lisianthus felt, she hated hearing Ryan repeating those words, especially how he insisted that she hated him. Yes, she felt incredibly hurt and angry but she could never hate him. 

Unable to say anything and finding no words that would do, she did the first thing that came to mind and leaned in to give Ryan a loving kiss on the lips, to show him that the matter was never about hating him: that her love for him was everlasting despite everything.

Alex turned his attention back to Lycoris and sensing that she was a little sad and could guess why, he reached out to touch her hand and telepathically said,

He'll come.  We just have to wait a little longer.

Ryan snapped out of his depression as he felt Lisianthus kissing him and closing his eyes, he returned the kiss, feeling calmer by the second.

Lycoris felt Alex touching her hand and hearing his telepathic message, she smiled a little, feeling a little comforted. She replied,

I hope so. I-I do want to see him one more last time...

Lisianthus felt Ryan returning her kiss and could feel him getting calmer. She continued kissing him for a few moments more before the kiss eventually came to an end. Looking sadly at him, she quietly said,

"Do you get it now? I could never hate you. My love for you is eternal, Ryan. But that's the problem. You didn't love me nearly as half as I do."

Alex replied,

I understand.  I'm sure he'll come for you.  He's probably trying to figure out a way to sneak out without getting caught.  That won't be easy.

Ryan replied, "D-do you think that's what it was?  I love you, Sia.  I do.  I-I just couldn't tell you because I was afraid of how y-you'd react.  Was I wrong to make such assumptions?"

(Sorry I am pretty late today. Got pretty busy in the morning with chores and studies and all. :/)

Lycoris replied,

Yes, yes, I understand. I know he will try his best. I just can't help feeling worried, I guess.

Lisianthus furrowed her eyebrows and replied,

"It isn't just that, Ryan. Your words revealed everything. You-you too..."

She wanted to say that she was heartbroken that Ryan too thought that she had a bad side, that only a 'part of her' was good. To not believe in her, not trust her because of that was worse than anything. But fearful that might worsen his condition, she composed herself and said,

"I-I'll call the head healer for you. Where-where are Alex and Lycoris? We need to find them as soon as possible."

(Ahh that's ok.  I've been gaming and chatting with my significant other so it's all good.  XD)

Alex replied,

I understand.  If you want, I can try contacting him to see what's going on.

Ryan replied, "I-I'm fine.  Are you going to get Alex and Lycoris?  I-I want to go with you.  I-I promised Lycoris that I would come to her, to say goodbye to her.  But I want to save her, too.  I know I can if I can reach her."

Lycoris replied,

No, it's alright. I am sure he's doing his best and contacting him might only worry him or something.

Lisianthus furrowed her eyebrows and replied,

"Say goodbye to her? I am going to go get her out of there. And there's no need for you to come along. I'll bring them back here and you can talk with her yourself all you want."

Alex replied,

If you're sure...

Ryan shook his head and replied, "No, I need to go.  I need to see her.  S-she'll never forgive me if she knew that I told you where she and Alex are and brought them back here.  I-I've made so many mistakes and I need to make them up to her somehow."

Lycoris patted Alex' hand gently and smiled softly to him, assuring him that she was sure. Inwardly, she prayed that everything would be ok, and that Ryan would really be able to come see them soon.

Lisianthus sighed and replied, "If you insist. Now where are they? I will need to prepare the soldiers so we can head there immediately."

Alex gently squeezed Lycoris' hand in response and then did his best to join the rest of the party in conversation as they spent the afternoon in the gardens.

Again, Ryan shook his head and replied, "No, just the two of us or we can bring Duchess Irene since she already knows.  But no soldiers.  I-I don't want them scared off.  I'll tell you if you promise me this."

He looked sadly and pleadingly into Lisianthus' eyes, hoping that she would agree.

(I want to tell Lisianthus that relationships take hard work.  I'm learning this recently.  XD)

(Ahh yup, she's learning it as well especially with this mess. XD)

Lisianthus was surprised by Ryans' request and replied, "How do you expect us to get Lycoris and Alex out of there on our own? You're aware that the shapeshifter and Lady Penelope are both there, right? Maybe the chancellor too. They're all quite powerful and the three of us won't be enough."

(I suppose we can leave Alex, Lycoris and the others aside for now until we see how things turn out here. XD)

(Ahh yeah, that sounds good to me.  XD)

Ryan replied, "We won't need to fight them.  Please trust me on this, Sia.  I know what I'm doing.  I just need to get to Lycoris.  I need to talk to her.  Please..."

Again, he looked pleadingly into Lisianthus eyes and he even had this puppy dog look on his face.

Had Lisianthus been in a better mood, she would have been moved, but not that moment. There were feelings of jealousy and anger rising in her but she was doing her best to keep everything inside. Finally taking a decision, she said,

"Fine then. You'll go to her but on your own. If I am to head there, I'll head there with my soldiers to get them out and no other reason."

Ryan couldn't help but feel and look sad and replied, "S-so you'll let me go by myself?  I-I want to see her, to apologize for all the hurt that I've caused her.  And-and I'm sorry, Sia.  I-I know how much I've hurt you.  I-I know how horrible I am.  I..."

His body started shaking again although Ryan tried to hide it.

Although Ryan did his best to hide it, Lisianthus could feel his shaking again. Reaching out to squeeze his hand gently, she replied,

"I am sorry I can't go. It's not about you but I won't be able to see that shapeshifter or that chancellor free and do nothing. It's best that you go on your own, if you're up to it. I'll open the gate for you."

Ryan looked into Lisianthus' eyes and did his best to calm down.  He hugged her and replied,

"I-I understand.  Thank you for letting me go.  I promise I won't do anything reckless.  I just want to talk to Lycoris and if all goes well, she can come back here as well as Alex.  It's what we all want, right?"

Lisianthus nodded and returned Ryan's hug but only for a moment before she gently broke the hug. She helped Ryan get up to his feet and said,

"Let's head to the chapel. I'll open the gate for you."

Ryan nodded and after getting up, he followed Lisianthus as they headed to the chapel.  As he walked, he opened up the telepathy to reach Duchess Irene and asked,

Duchess Irene, are you there?  It's me again.

Irene received Ryan's message and wondering whether he had finally made a decision, she said,

I am here, Ryan. How are things?

Ryan replied,

I-I talked to Sia just now and I told her everything.


He then told Duchess Irene what happened between him and Lisianthus, not leaving out any details.

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Irene was a little worried about Lisianthus as she heard what happened from Ryan but she was also relieved that he chose to be honest with her in the end. She finally replied,

I see. So you're heading to Lycoris now then. Will you try to convince her to come back with you?

Ryan replied,

I'm going to talk to her, at the very least.  I won't leave without her, though.  There's so much I need to tell Lycoris, especially how sorry I am for hurting her.  I-I never got a chance to tell her before she was taken.

Irene replied,

I see. Good luck with your mission then, Ryan. It's a difficult one but I believe you made the right choice and hopefully, everything will be fine.

Ryan replied,

Thank you.  I hope everything will turn out all right.  Will you please look after Sia while I'm gone?  I-I want to make sure that she'll be ok while I'm away.
