Romance RP

Lycoris smiled softly and nodding happily, she said,

"That sounds pretty delicious and you took part in preparing all this tasty food, right? Then I am sure it will taste perfect."

She waited for Alex to lead her and Lady Penelope as well as the chancellor got up as well to go to the dining room.

Lisianthus' eyes widened in surprised that Ryan knew where Lycoris and Alex and wondered what he meant by that. Deciding not to get angry yet, to control herself as much as she could, she asked quietly,

"What do you mean by that? Certain people being compromised?"

Alex gently held Lycoris' arm and escorted her to the kitchen.  There, he helped her into a seat and then took a seat next to her.

Ryan sighed and replied, "Let's just say that the shapeshifter has been getting some help from some unlikely sources.  I'm not sure how much more I can say without directly revealing where Lycoris and Alex are."

Lady Penelope looked at the spread of the food before her and smiling, she said, "This is looking very delicious."

Lycoris nodded happily and said, "It smells great indeed. I can't wait to taste it."

Lisianthus frowned and replied, "What do you mean by this? Are you going to stop talking so mysteriously soon, Ryan? And why am I getting the feeling that you aren't planning on telling me where they are?"

Eleanor added, "Yes, it looks quite delicious."

Everyone began to eat their lunch, getting their fill.

Ryan sighed and replied, "Because you'll get angry and drag Alex and Lycoris back here against their will.  I do want them safe, especially Lycoris, but I don't want to force anything on them.  They should choose for themselves, shouldn't they?"

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll post again tomorrow after I get back from work and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lady Penelope, the chancellor as well as Lycoris and the shapeshifter all started eating their lunch as well, getting their energy and strength. Lycoris happily commented,

"This is indeed quite yummy. Your food tastes as great as always, Alex and the shapeshifter's food is delicious too."

Lisianthus was both surprised and shocked by Ryan's response, as he suddenly seemed to be ok with the idea of leaving Lycoris and Alex be and not fight to get them back. Her anger beginning to take hold, she replied,

"Force anything? What are you talking about?! How long have you known where they are and how? And why you do claim that Alex would be ok with it? I can understand about Lycoris but there's no way Alex will help that stupid shapeshifter. And you've known all along and were hiding it?!"

(Back and free now.  Regarding my class, I think it went all right.  At least I know what I can do to prepare better and all but I hope it's ok if I ask for your help once in a while.  XD)

Alex smiled softly at Lycoris and replied, "I'm happy to hear that.  I wanted to make this especially delicious just for you."

Ryan felt hurt as Lisianthus addressed him angrily although he wasn't surprised that this would be the result.  He couldn't respond to her questions and looking down at his lap, there was a tear that shed.

(Welcome back and of course. I am glad everything went all right. ^^)

Lycoris blushed a little but she continued smiling and said, "You did a great job. It does taste wonderful."

The party continued eating, enjoying the delicious lunch.

Lisianthus could see that her way hurt Ryan but she didn't calm down. If he were hurt because of her anger, then how was she supposed to feel?

She continued, "Answer me, Ryan. Answer my questions. How long have you known this? Why didn't you tell me before? Am I suddenly the bad guy everyone is afraid to tell anything?"

(Ahh I have to take care of some chores for about 40 minutes or something but I'll be back as soon as I am done. XD)

(Thanks and ahh, ok.  ^^)

As everyone ate, Eleanor turned to Lycoris and asked,

"Sweetie, what would you like to do today?"

Although Ryan tried his best to calm down, his body refused to and suddenly, he started shaking and he was gasping for breaths.  It was like that time when his body started reacting violently whenever there was something upsetting regarding Lycoris.

(Back now. XD)

Lycoris thought about it for a moment and said, "Maybe we can all spend the afternoon in the garden? Would that be ok?"

Lisianthus was shocked as she witnessed Ryan's reaction and although she was still pretty angry, worry quickly overwhelmed all other feelings. Going to Ryan's side, she worriedly asked,

"Ryan, what's wrong!?"

(Welcome back.  XD And if I'm slow in posting, it's because two guys are chatting with me at the same time.  I can't even game although I really want to.  lol)

Eleanor nodded happily and replied, "Of course, sweetie.  That sounds like a perfect way to spend the afternoon."

Alex added, "I agree.  The gardens are always beautiful."

Ryan held his head in his hands and muttering to himself, he said,

"She hates me.  She hates me.  What have I done?  I-I tried to do what was best but I'm always wrong..."

(Thanks and no problem. Take your time. XD)

Lycoris smiled and replied, "Ok then."

The party continued eating and soon, the shapeshifter was all done, and the chancellor along with Lady Penelope and Lycoris were finishing up.

Lisianthus was confused and touching Ryan's hands gently, she asked,

"Who hates you? Do-do you mean me? Because that's not true. It could never be true. You know that, don't you?"

(Thanks.  XD  Man, I've got to tell you.  If you're ever in a relationship, you have to know how to make time around your guy.  It's something I'm still trying to figure out.  O.O)

Alex and his parents were soon finished eating as well and Edward commented,

"Lunch was delicious.  You two did a wonderful job."

Alex replied, "Thanks, Dad."

Ryan looked up into Lisianthus' eyes and in a whisper, he asked, "R-really?  Y-you don't hate me?  Y-you'll understand why I did it?"

(Ahh I see. XD Well, I don't think it's happening anytime soon on my side so I won't have to worry about this for a while but good luck figuring it out and all. XD)

Lady Penelope said, "How about everyone heads to the garden to start enjoying this afternoon? I'll clean up here and follow you as soon as I am done."

Lisianthus didn't know how to respond to that but she quietly said,

"I am listening. I asked you but you refused to give me an answer."

(Thanks.  I mention this since it's a bit hard if you have work and other things to deal with.  I mean, I totally love the guy but when he keeps giving me romantic words, it's sort of distracting.  XD)

Alex replied, "Are you sure, my lady?  I can help out if you'd like."

Ryan took a breath and replied, "You won't hate me, you promise?  I-I'll tell you but I couldn't live if you hated me after this."

(Ahh I see. XD Good luck managing things and all. XD)

Lady Penelope smiled to Alex and replied,

"I'll be fine, darling. You can lead everyone to outside and I am sure Lycoris will want to enjoy your company as much as possible too."

Lisianthus took a deep breath and replied, "I promise. I can never hate you."

She could promise that as indeed, there was nothing in the world that could make her hate Ryan no matter what he did. How upset or angry she would become however wasn't within her hands.

Alex nodded and replied, "Thanks, my lady."

He got up and helping Lycoris get up, he asked, "Ready to enjoy the gardens, Lycoris?"

Ryan nodded and after taking a deep breath, he revealed to Lisianthus that he did know about Lycoris and Alex's location and for how long.  He revealed that Alex was helping because Lycoris wanted to sacrifice her powers and that Alex knew magic.

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Yup, definitely."

The chancellor and the shapeshifter got up as well and followed everyone to outside.

Lisianthus was shocked hearing all of this from Ryan. This was too much to take at once: knowing that Alex wasn't held hostage all along and was actually helping out the shapeshifter, and how Ryan had known all this time.

Doing her best to keep her composure, she quietly asked, "Who else knew about this? And why...why was I kept in the dark all this time?"

Except for Lady Penelope who had stayed behind to clean up, the party went outside to the gardens to enjoy the afternoon.  Edward turned to Lycoris and asked,

"What's your favorite flower, Lycoris?  I'd like to plant it here for you as a reminder."

Ryan replied, "I-I told Duchess Irene but only because I needed her counsel.  And-and as for why I didn't tell you, I was afraid that you would be angry and that you would immediately force Lycoris and Alex back here when you can't be sure that that's what they would want."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied,

"I love roses, especially red and white ones. They are very beautiful and they have a very lovely fragrance."

Lisianthus frowned as it turned out that Irene also knew. Her expression involuntarily turning into that cold, distant one, she replied quietly,

"And why are you telling me now then? It seems like I am the only one who shouldn't know anything in this castle because I am the bad guy after all, not the shapeshifter or anything."

Edward replied, "Then we'll plant more, just for you, Lycoris."

Alex added, "That's a great idea, Dad.  That way, I'll never forget Lycoris, not that I actually would."

He looked on sadly at Lycoris.

Ryan replied, "Because, in spite of everything, I believe that a part of you is good.  I have to believe that and I have to believe that you'll think of the others.  I-I am sorry I kept this from you.  I-I should have trusted you."

There were tears flowing down and his body started to shake.

Lycoris smiled sadly at hearing Alex's comment and hung her head down, doing her best to contain the sadness she felt inside. The chancellor commented sadly,

"We'll all miss Lycoris dearly. I wish this day never had to come."

Although Lisianthus was already angry and upset, Ryan's response doubled her hurt. With widened eyes, she whispered in disbelief,

"Part of me? I-I really have become the bad guy around here, haven't I?"

She stepped backwards, unable to take in what Ryan said. His words made her seem as though she were really the dangerous one and that hurt her more than anything.

Eleanor replied, "Me, too.  I'm going to miss my daughter so very much.  I love her."

Ryan looked up as he noticed Lisianthus moving away from him and he replied,

"I-I love you but you don't always consider all of the sides of a situation.  T-that's why I couldn't tell you before.  You're not a bad person but sometimes you do bad things even if the intention is good."

Lycoris reached out to touch Eleanor's hand gently and patted it, smiling lovingly. She said,

"I love you too, mom, very much. Thank you for making me very happy in the short time I could spend with you."

Lisianthus continued to look at Ryan with disbelief in her eyes and was barely holding back her tears. She frowned and replied quietly,

"So I am the villain in the end, huh? And the shapeshifter was the victim, perhaps?"

Her eyes widening as she realized something, she quietly continued, fearful of the answer,

"Her-her escape...you had nothing to do with it, right? Please...Please tell me you had nothing to do with it."

As Ryan turned out to know everything after all, his collapse in the generators' room had no reason.

Eleanor hugged Lycoris and replied, "Thank you for being the most wonderful daughter ever, sweetie.  I love you so much."

Ryan was about to reply when he saw the sadness and hurt in Lisianthus' eyes and unable to control his body, it started to shake violently and he collapsed on the ground, feeling all the pain from causing pain to Lisianthus.

Lycoris returned Eleanor's hug, getting as much of her motherly love as possible. Lady Penelope soon joined the party and smiling to everyone, she said,

"I am all done."

She then took a seat near her daughter.

Although Lisianthus' head was clouded with her confusion and feelings of sadness and hurt, it didn't blind her enough to ignore Ryan's condition. She rushed to his side and holding him in her arms, she worriedly asked,

"R-Ryan, what's the matter? What's wrong?"
