Romance RP

Eleanor looked hopefully at Lady Penelope and asked, "Do you think a miracle can happen?  Can my daughter still be alive after what happens?  I-I hope so.  I want her to live a long, happy life and I'd be more than happy to have her stay here."

Lady Penelope smiled softly to Eleanor and replied,

"Let's hold on to hope, ok? So many people love and care for Lycoris and she deserves to live. I have faith that something bright will happen and save her."

Eleanor nodded and replied, "I-I hope so.  My daughter has suffered so much and she deserves only happiness in her life.  Of course, I'm probably being a little selfish in wanting her around because I haven't had a daughter for most of my life."

Lady Penelope smiled in understanding and replied,

"It's completely understandable, dear and I've seen how much Lycoris loves you as well. She's never felt what it is like to have a mother but she could feel it from you. We can only pray that you two aren't separated anytime soon, that Lycoris can remain with you despite everything."

Eleanor nodded and replied, "Yes, I hope so.  I'm sorry for stopping the clean up.  We should finish now.  I know a lot needs to be done."

Lady Penelope smiled softly and after giving Eleanor a gentle squeeze on her hand, she continued her work as well and the two of them were soon all finished cleaning up.

After Eleanor and Lady Penelope finished cleaning, they returned to the others.  Wrapping her arms around Lycoris, Eleanor sadly said,

"I'm going to miss you so much, my daughter.  I wish you could be with me always."

Lycoris returned Eleanor's hug sadly, getting as much as she could of her motherly warmth. There were tears in her eyes but she did her best to hold them back. She quietly said,

"I'll miss you too, mom...so very much. Take care of yourself, please and of Nerine, ok?"

Eleanor nodded and replied, "I will, sweetie.  I promise.  I-I'll never forget you.  You are the best daughter that a mother could ever have had."

She continued to hold Lycoris in her arms, wanting to freeze the moment.

Lycoris continued to hold on to Eleanor as well, not wanting the moment to ever end. But as the hug eventually came to end, she quietly said,

"I love you, mom. I love you so much. Thank you for everything."

Eleanor tearfully replied, "I love you, too, my daughter.  I'll always remember you and how wonderful and kind and sweet you are. You'll always be a part of my heart."

Alex looked on sadly, as it broke his heart to see Eleanor so sad.

(Random but have you heard of Echoes of Aetheria?  XD)

(Ahh nope. I am guessing it's a game? XD)

Lycoris smiled sadly, doing her best to hold back her tears and reaching out, she squeezed Eleanor's hands gently and said,

"I'll always be near you, mom. Thank you again for everything."

The shapeshifter waited for Edward and the chancellor to say goodbye to Lycoris as well so they could going afterwards.

(Yeah, it's by the same people who made Skyborn.  It's a new game that just came out so I thought you might have heard of it.  XD)

Edward approached Lycoris and gently patting her head, he said,

"We'll miss you, Lycoris.  You're always a part of this family.  Never forget that, ok?"

(Ahh I am not really following games' news nowadays because of the exams and all but that's cool. I tried Skyborn a while ago and I really liked it so I might give this one a try sometime. XD)

Lycoris smiled gratefully and replied, "Thanks, dad. I really appreciate everything you've done for me too and all the love and care you showered me with. Thank you."

(Ahh I see.  I understand.  I finally got Skyborn btw.  My significant other bought it for me along with Echoes of Aetheria.  ^^)

Edward replied, "You've been so wonderful, Lycoris.  It won't be the same without you."

He looked to the shapeshifter and asked, "Is there really no other way?"

(That's sweet of him. ^^ And Skyborn is a pretty good game so I am sure you'll enjoy it. ^^)

The shapeshifter shook her head and replied, "I'm afraid not."

The chancellor approached Lycoris as well to say goodbye to her and gave her a fatherly hug, praying inside that a miracle may save her.

Alex and Ryan waited as the others made their goodbyes, as they would accompany Lycoris.  Each hoped that the miracle could happen and that she would be saved by either one of them.

After everyone has made their goodbyes, Lycoris took a deep breath and quietly said,

"I-I am all ready. We can get going."

The shapeshifter nodded and said, "Let's go then. My mom will take us but let's head outside first."

She waited for Alex and Ryan to follow while she and Lady Penelope led the way out of the house.

Alex turned to Edward and Eleanor and said, "Ryan and I will come here after it's over."

He looked to the chancellor and asked, "You'll look after my parents, won't you, sir?  I doubt they'll want to go home right now."

The chancellor nodded to Alex and replied,

"Yes, don't worry, sir. I'll stay here with your parents until you return. Please take care of yourselves."

He prayed inwardly that all of them would return, no exceptions.

Alex nodded and replied, "Thank you, sir."

He looked to Lycoris and gently asked, "Are you ready to go, Lycoris?  Ryan and I will accompany you."

Ryan added, "Yes, neither of us will leave your side."

Lycoris took a deep breath and nodded, "I am ready."

She waited for Ryan and Alex to lead her to outside where the shapeshifter and Lady Penelope were waiting, and Lady Penelope had prepared the gate to the devils' world.

(I have a bit of good news.  I have a new class starting next week.  Overall, I'll still be working fewer hours than I had before I mentioned about money being tight but I can make do.  ^^)

Alex and Ryan each held on to one of Lycoris' arms and together, they led the way outside to where the shapeshifter and Lady Penelope were.  Alex looked to the ladies and said,

"We're ready."

(Woot, that's great news. ^^ I hope you can get even more work in the future and this is a good start. ^^)

Lady Penelope nodded and after taking a deep breath, she summoned the gate that would take them to the devils' world. Once it was stable, she and the shapeshifter led the way to inside, with the party following them, and they were all teleported to the devils' world, specifically to the cave where the old generators were.

As everyone arrived in the devils' world, Ryan looked around with wonder in his eyes and commented,

"So this is what the devils' world looks like?"

Alex nodded and replied, "That's right.  My darling and I have been here before but you know that, right?"

Ryan replied, "Yes, I remember."
