Romance RP

The shapeshifter rolled her eyes and sighing, she said, 

"You aren't agreeing only because you don't want to lose Lycoris. I understand that, but as I've already said, this will happen now or later. Delaying it will only cause more troubles."

Irene replied, "Hopefully things will get resolved soon and she won't have to hurt any longer."

She paused then said, "I should get going to the academy now. Is there anything else you wish to tell me?"

Alex replied firmly, "I've been helping and I will continue to help her so there's no need to rush this."

His face took on a determined look, as he wasn't going to let Lycoris die so quickly.

Ryan shook his head and replied, "I think I've said everything I needed to say but if there's anything else, I can communicate with you.  I'll go find Sia and spend as much time with her as I can."

The shapeshifter rolled her eyes, frustrated with Alex's defiance. She turned to Lycoris and said, 

"Hey, say something. You've been silent all the time."

Lycoris didn't say anything but she looked both saddened and conflicted, as she didn't know what to do.

Irene nodded and replied,

"Alright then. I'll see you after dinner and we can talk to Lisianthus then about heading to the humans' world."

Alex saw the look on Lycoris' face and said,

"It's obvious that Lycoris doesn't want to go through with, either, at least not right now.  And if we're going to be fair and vote, then the majority rules."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok, I'll see you then.  I hope you have a good day at work."

He smiled softly at Irene, feeling a bit relieved that some weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

The shapeshifter groaned to herself although she didn't say anything, not knowing how to convince the couple anymore. It was then when Lycoris finally spoke up quietly,

"She-she is right, Alex. Things are getting a little complicated and there's my other self too...if I am strong enough now to give up my powers, I guess we should go ahead with it."

Irene returned Ryan's smile and replied,

"Thank you, Ryan. I hope you have a good day as well and I'll see you later."

Alex looked worriedly at Lycoris and replied, "But you need to get stronger and if you're worried about your other self taking over, I'm here, aren't I?  I won't leave your side, Lycoris.  You have my word."

Ryan bowed politely to Irene and then left her office, heading to Lisianthus' office to spend some time with her.

Lycoris quickly smiled and reached out to hold Alex's hand in hers, she replied,

"Of course. I trust you on that. But the shapeshifter is right...there-there is a lot going on and anyways, this will happen sooner or later. As-as for my other self, I know that you will never leave my side but I-I don't trust how long I can keep up with her even when you are here with me."

Lisianthus was in her office meanwhile but things weren't getting any better on her side. Apparently, word about the chancellor's escape leaked out of the castle and her people were already trying to find him to try to support him back to the throne. And only one person was responsible for it: none other than Duke Collins.

Alex replied, "But-but if you're going to do this, shouldn't you at least say goodbye to Ryan first?  If you were suddenly gone and he found out, he would be devastated.  He'd be destroyed."

Ryan reached the door to Lisianthus' office and knocking on it, he said,

"Sia, are you there?  It's me."

(Man, Duke Collins is evil.  I feel like beating him up.  O.O)

Lycoris looked saddened and on the verge of tears as Alex mentioned Ryan, as she did wish to see him and say goodbye to him. But containing herself, she replied,

"I-I'll tell him. I won't let him find out like that later. I can communicate with him telepathically and...I-I'll say goodbye and let him know that I forgave him for everything."

(Yup, he's certainly taking advantage of the situation. XD)

Lisianthus heard Ryan's voice and wondered what got him here at that time, but as she could use his company, she replied,

"Come in, Ryan."

She looked even more stressed than before, with the problem of her people getting on her shoulders as well.

Alex nodded and sighing, he replied, "Ok but if you're to do this, we need to tell the others.  Mom, especially, will be sad, as I know she wanted to spend as much time with you as possible."

Ryan entered Lisianthus' office and after closing the door, he approached her and looking at her with worry in his eyes, he asked,

"Do you want to talk about it?"

Lycoris nodded sadly, agreeing with Alex. The shapeshifter was glad that Lycoris agreed to her suggestion and commented,

"They're all in the living room at the moment so we should head there and let them know of our decision. When it's settled, we can head to the devils' world tonight and get this done. The sooner we finish things, the better."

Lisianthus sighed and rubbing her forehead with both of her hands, she replied quietly,

"Don't mind it. It's just that somehow, people found out that the chancellor escaped and you can only imagine their reaction."

Alex sighed and replied, "I still disagree but if Lycoris wants to go through with it, I-I can't stop her.  I care about her too much to do otherwise."

(Man, we need to stop this somehow.  O.O)

Ryan rubbed Lisianthus' shoulders and replied, "But how?  Could someone have leaked the information?  If so, I can guess who did and I'll have to exchange words later."

(Ahh no worries. XD Lycoris' other self will have a say in this if she has to. XD)

The shapeshifter didn't say anything and Lycoris gently squeezed Alex's hand but didn't say anything either. The shapeshifter then said,

"Then let's head to the living room and announce this to everyone else."

She got up and waited for Alex and Lycoris to follow.

Lisianthus furrowed her eyebrows and looked at Ryan attentively, she asked,

"Who do you think could have leaked this out?"

(Ahh she'll come in handy then.  XD)

Alex got up and after he helped Lycoris to her feet, they followed the shapeshifter to the living room where the others were.

Ryan replied, "The answer is obvious, isn't it?  That horrible Duke Collins.  He would be the only one to leak out such information."

(Yup. XD)

The party entered the living room where everyone else was seated. Lady Penelope saw them enter and smiling happily at them, she said,

"Ahh welcome back, dears. Is everything ok? We were starting to wonder when you will return."

Lisianthus' eyes widened in realization as Ryan mentioned Duke Collins and suddenly getting quite angry, she said,

"Of course. That jerk. No one else could have leaked this out. That moron!"

Alex nodded and as he helped Lycoris into a seat and took a seat next to her, he quietly said,

"Everything's ok."

Ryan continued to rub Lisianthus' shoulders and replied, "Yeah, he sure is.  None of our friends would have said anything.  What should we do?  I'd be more than happy to teach him a lesson."

Lady Penelope felt that something was up and then the shapeshifter said,

"We have something to tell everyone. Lycoris will give up her powers tonight."

Lisianthus groaned and her hands balling into fists, she angrily said,

"That man will definitely be taught a rough lesson! He has to pay for everything he caused."

She got up to rush to the door, wanting to find that duke.

Eleanor looked shocked and replied, "No, but why?  Why, sweetie?  Surely, you have a little more time before you need to do so."

She reached out to touch Lycoris' hands and looked sadly at her.

Ryan immediately got up and following Lisianthus, he replied,

"Wait, beautiful.  Let's think things through, ok?  He definitely needs to pay but if you just rush towards him, he could use that against you."

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris smiled sadly to Eleanor and replied quietly,

"I'm sorry, mom. This is the best solution to everything. I am already strong enough and-and it's not good to keep delaying this. The faster we get things done, the fewer problems we get."

Lady Penelope was shocked to hear about this as well and looked at her daughter with questioning eyes, but her daughter only gave her a look that she knew what she was doing.

Lisianthus calmed down a little but still quite upset, she looked at Ryan and said, 

"We-we have to find him and make him pay for that, Ryan. Do you know how much trouble this has caused me? That jerk is only making things worse."

Eleanor replied, "But what about the chocolate festival?  Don't you want to go?  You should still be around for that and then-and then..."

She felt her throat getting chocked up and couldn't continue.

Ryan nodded and replied, "I agree.  Perhaps you could charge him with treason?  That would give you cause to lock him up.  It's what the royals in the human world would do when a noble leaks out secret information like that."

Lycoris hugged Eleanor tightly, pushing back her own tears. She replied quietly, trying to sound as composed as she could,

"I-I am sorry, mom. I wish I could attend but it looks like this won't be the case. But I am happy, really. I've enjoyed myself with everyone for the time I spent here more than anything."

Lisianthus took a breath and thinking over Ryan's suggestion, she liked it. Nodding, she said,

"You're right. That would do it. He'll pay for the trouble he caused dearly."

She called for one of the soldiers on the door and when he came, she ordered him to get Duke Collins to her office immediately.

Eleanor didn't say anything but wept quietly, as the thought of losing Lycoris so quickly overwhelmed her.  Edward looked to the shapeshifter and quietly asked,

"Does it have to be so soon?"

As the soldier went to get Duke Collins, Ryan asked, "Would you like me to stay with you while you punish Duke Collins?  I certainly wouldn't mind punishing him myself."

The shapeshifter turned to Edward and replied,

"This will save us a lot of troubles, sir. There's the problem of the missing elixir, and the queen must be still looking for us. No need to delay things further and complicate things for nothing."

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Yes, do stay. I'd like you to watch that man as he gets humiliated before us."

Soon enough, the door opened and Duke Collins came in with an annoyed look and his annoyance only deepened as he saw Ryan. He bowed and said,

"This better be important, queen. I had to leave my work to come here."

Edward replied, "Are you worried that the queen might find you here?  If so, we could move all of you to our place or perhaps even ask our king and queen to give you asylum in the castle.  You would be safe there."

Ryan couldn't help but give a slight smirk towards Duke Collins, waiting for Lisianthus to give him what he deserved.

The shapeshifter shook her head and replied,

"As I said, sir, no need for all this when we can just get things done. And there's also the problem of Lycoris' other self which may get out of control if we don't finish things once and for all."

Lisianthus looked coldly at Duke Collins and replied, "Oh it is important, duke. After all, I doubt you'll be able to get back to work. Maybe a dark and cold cell would suit you better."

Duke Collins raised an eyebrow and replied, "What is supposed to mean?"

Lisianthus frowned angrily at him and replied, "Your tricks won't fool me any longer. I know exactly who leaked out the information about the chancellor's escape and he is standing right before me. And well, let me tell you that he isn't getting away with it ever."
