Romance RP

(I wonder who would.  O.O)

Ryan heard a voice calling out for him and slowly gaining consciousness, he weakly asked,

"Lycoris, is that you?  You're here, aren't you?"

(Before I forget, I'll probably go to bed early tonight.  Even though I am feeling better, my body's still feeling somewhat weak so I should try to rest up when I can.  XD)

(Ahh ok, I understand. ^^ I hope you feel 100% well soon. ^^)

Irene furrowed her eyebrows in concern as she heard Ryan's response and picking him up gently, she said,

"It's me, Ryan, Duchess Irene. What happened here? Who did this to you?"

Ryan opened his eyes and realizing that it was Irene in front of him, he furrowed his eyebrows and replied,

"Duchess Irene, what are you doing here?  And where's Lycoris?  Is she upstairs?  Is she all right?"

Irene looked around her and replied, "She isn't here. I haven't seen her at all."

She paused then frowning, she said, "She is the one who contacted me. She told me telepathically to come immediately because you needed attention. But I don't understand anything. What happened? Why were you two here and where is she?"

Ryan looked around and realizing that Lycoris was truly gone, he frantically replied,

"We have to find her now.  She can't have gone far."

Doing his best to get up, Ryan asked, "How long was it when Lycoris contacted you?"

Irene replied, "Not long. I came here immediately after she contacted me. She couldn't have gone very far-her state won't help her get away quickly."

She paused then looking with concern at Ryan, she said, "But are you strong enough to move on your own? Don't push yourself. I can go look for her."

Ryan nodded immediately and replied, "Yes, I can do it.  M-maybe we should call on Alex and the others for help as well?  Although they aren't going to like that I let Lycoris escape.  I didn't think she would do such a thing."

His eyes had this saddened glaze on them.

Irene was definitely confused and replied,

"We can do that but I don't understand...why would Lycoris escape? I thought she was giving up her powers willingly? What brought you two here in the first place?"

Ryan took a deep breath and replied, "The-the other Lycoris took over.  I had to pretend that we were escaping so I teleported the two of us here.  I tried to persuade her that I still love her but she refused to listen.  She-she wouldn't trust me anymore and...We have to find her.  Please, she won't be ok out there on her own."

Irene nodded and replied,

"You're right. We need to look for her immediately and find her. Can you think of anywhere she may have headed to?"

Ryan shook his head and replied, "I don't know.  I'm not sure how she can get anywhere without her vision.  W-what if something happens to her?  We need to find her now."

He got up quickly but felt himself getting dizzy.

Irene could tell that Ryan wasn't feeling alright and quickly stood by his side to help him. Furrowing her eyebrows, she replied, 

"You aren't well enough, Ryan. Listen, let me help you back to the gods' world and I'll take care of finding her. You can't push yourself."

Ryan shook his head and replied, "No, I'll be all right but we need to find Lycoris now.  The more we delay, the chances of finding her are slim.  We need to find her and I need to make her understand.  But this other one is so unreasonable and she hates me."

Irene replied,

"We need to find her then we'll take care of bringing her back here even if we have to force her. But you mustn't push yourself, Ryan. Even if you don't want to go back to the gods' world, at least stay here. Pushing yourself won't be much helpful."

Ryan sighed and taking a seat on the sofa, he nodded and replied, "You're right.  I'm sorry.  I'm so worried about Lycoris.  Please find her.  If something terrible happens to her because of me, I-I..."

He looked down at the floor, emotion overwhelming him.

Although Irene knew she had to get going quickly, she gave Ryan a gentle hug and said,

"I'll find her. Just take care of yourself until I return and I'll make sure she's with me, safe and sound. I'll let you know once there's anything new."

She let go of Ryan and after giving his hand a gentle squeeze, she headed out of the house to try to look for Lycoris.

Ryan sighed sadly to himself after Irene left the house.  He hoped that she would be able to find Lycoris and bring her back.  Thinking of something, he decided to use his telepathy to reach out to Lycoris and said,

Lycoris, where are you?  I woke up and find you gone.

Lycoris had disappeared into the forests, but far away from Ryan's house. She had used a group of teleporting spells to get herself as far away as possible from his place so no one would be able to find her.

It was then when she heard his telepathic message. She thought of replying and telling him again to forget about her, but as she knew he wouldn't simply accept that so easily, she decided to say nothing at all, and remained silent.

Ryan sighed sadly as Lycoris didn't reply.  He figured that he should wait for Duchess Irene to get word back to him and hoped that she would have better results than he did.

He turned to the side and a lone tear slid down his cheek.

Lycoris was relieved as Ryan didn't say anything more and then decided to take care of herself. As she knew she wouldn't be able to do much on her own, she decided to ask for help, and there was one person in the world who would do anything she wanted and listen to her every word: Duke Collins. Even though she didn't like the man, she believed that he would do anything for her if she showered him with attention and love words.

Meanwhile, Irene searched everywhere around Ryan's place for Lycoris, using her vision, her voice to call out for her and even her magic, but there were no traces of her.

(O.O  Now I didn't expect Lycoris to go to Duke Collins.)

Meanwhile, Ryan waited for Irene to make contact with him.  In the event that she wouldn't be able to find Lycoris, he would have no choice but to contact the others and tell them what happened although he hoped to avoid that option.

(She hates the guy but currently, he's the only one who would help her out and ask no questions. XD)

Irene looked everywhere around Ryan's place and even went a little further than that, but she could find nothing. It was obvious that Lycoris wasted no time and had gone as far as she could although Irene had no idea how she could do that in such a short time.

Having no other choice, she returned to Ryan's house, feeling burdened and wondering how to solve that trouble.

(I see but man, he's the enemy.  I want to smite him.  XD)

Ryan heard the front door and seeing that Irene had returned but with no Lycoris, he asked,

"W-what happened?  Was-was there no sign of Lycoris?"

(lol I totally understand you but this Lycoris can do anything to get what she wants. XD)

Irene looked sadly at Ryan and shaking her head, she said,

"No, nothing. I looked everywhere in the area around here, but there was no trace. She left quite quickly; she must have teleported or something."

(True but I still want to smite Duke Collins.  XD)

Ryan replied, "I-I tried to communicate with her but she ignored me.  We have to figure out some way to track her.  I won't leave without her."
