Romance RP

Irene furrowed her eyebrows and replied, 

"Where could she have gone? She won't do very well on her own. She must have someone's help. Can you think of any place, anyone who she could head to for help?"

(Yays.  Thanks.  )

Ryan thought for a few moments.  He figured that Lycoris wouldn't trust many people and if she didn't trust him then who...?

Thinking of a crazy possibility, he looked to Duchess Irene and said, "I know this sounds crazy but would she contact that Duke Collins?"

Irene frowned and replied,

"Why would she go to Duke Collins? She doesn't like him very much, does she? I don't know about that other personality though. Does she stand the guy or at least have good relations with him?"

Ryan replied, "Well, she doesn't really like him, either, but she might not have much of a choice.  The other Lycoris wouldn't have many allies to run to so..."

He trailed off, hoping that Lycoris wouldn't have turned to Duke Collins although he couldn't completely dismiss the possibility.

Irene looked thoughtful and replied, 

"What do you think we should do? I mean, if she did go to Duke Collins, I doubt just contacting him and asking him would do. He would probably deny it even if she truly did."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yeah, that's true.  Hmm, is there a locator spell?  Could we use something like that to find out where Lycoris is?  She'd still be in the human world although obviously not nearby."

Irene nodded and replied, "There is but it works on a short range. I used it when I was out there and it couldn't locate her on the surroundings at all. But if we combine it with a teleporting spell and go to all the possible places Lycoris could possibly head to, we may be able to find her."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Could we try that?  I am feeling better after having rested so I can take you to all the places the two of us went to and we can try finding her?"

He looked at Irene hopefully, as though the idea seemed like a good one.

Irene nodded and replied, "Yes, that's a good idea but let me take care of casting the spells. I don't want you to exhaust yourself."

She helped Ryan stand up and led the way out of the house, waiting for his instructions.

Ryan walked with Irene as the two of them left the house.  Once they were outside, Ryan said,

"I remember that one of the places Lycoris and I went to was this farm."

He described the farm where he and Lycoris had visited the farmer and his wife and tried some of their apple treats.

Irene nodded and after she listened to Ryan's description carefully, she replied,

"She may have gone there. I'll teleport us right now."

She concentrated and casting the spell, she teleported them indeed to the correct farm.

Ryan looked around and commented,

"Yes, this is the correct farm but I don't see Lycoris.  Could she be nearby?"

(I'm getting a bit sleepy so I'll get off now and go to bed.  I'll post again tomorrow and since it's holidays here, I can post more and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Irene replied, "We're about to find out."

She cast the locator spell, hoping to locate Lycoris anywhere nearby, but there was nothing. Sighing, she shook her head and replied,

"No, not here."

Ryan furrowed his eyebrows and thinking, he replied, "That was that time I took Lycoris to the castle.  I'm not sure if the guards would have let her in and perhaps we can check near the area?"

Irene nodded and teleported the two of them near the castle. Once they were a suitable distance away, she cast the locator spell once more, but the result was the same. Sighing, she said,

"Not here either."

Ryan had to think more deeply and replied, "We could try the town.  Maybe Lycoris asked one of the people there for shelter?  It's worth a try, right?"

Irene nodded and replied, "I suppose. We can only try."

She teleported them to the center of the town where she could cast the locator spell effectively, and did so. But it was the same thing: no signs of Lycoris.

She sighed and shook her head, giving Ryan the same answer.

Ryan sighed sadly and asked, "Where else could she have gone?"

He looked sadly at Irene, hoping that she had an idea.

(Sorry for the delay but I suddenly got poked on some work-related matter.  I'm free now, though.  XD)

Irene looked thoughtful then replied,

"Do you think she may have gone out of the humans' world? Although I can't think of anyone who might have helped her do so."

Ryan replied, "I-I don't know.  She doesn't have that power, I don't think."

He hated to consider the idea but he thought that contacting the shapeshifter and letting her know what happened might yield some results.

(Ahh yeah, I don't know if I told you this but I got selected as an editor for an upcoming VN.  )

Irene looked more thoughtful and replied,

"Then where could she have gone to? Is there anywhere else we haven't headed to?"

(Thanks.  I have work already to do for it but I do it during the daytime so I can keep evenings free for here.  ^^)

Ryan replied, "I-I don't know.  I mean, unless she decided to go to Lessire but there's no way she would have teleported that far.  And I'm so worried.  What if she's hurt or lost?  And all because I caused her pain."

(Good luck with it. I hope it's another successful work. ^^)

Irene replied, "Let's stay optimistic, ok? If she were lost, she would have responded to you when you contacted her. And this Lycoris seems to be tough so she wouldn't get hurt that easily."

She looked thoughtful then said, "Is there anyone who she could turn to for help?"

(Thanks.  When it gets closer to release, I'll let you know what game it is.  ^^)

Ryan sighed and replied, "I was thinking of contacting the shapeshifter although she's going to be angry that Lycoris escaped.  I was supposed to keep her happy until Lady Penelope would be well enough to try the ritual again."

(Sure, I'll be waiting for it. ^^)

Irene replied, "If we don't find her soon, we'll have to let her know anyways. If you can't think of anything else, I suppose we have no choice but to tell her. She may be able to think of something we haven't thought of."
