Romance RP

Anjela chuckled as well and replied slyly, "Really? Maybe I am a better doctor than you are after all."

She gazed lovingly at Matthew for a moment then said, "We should probably call it a night. It's getting really late and heh, the excitement of the day is starting to catch up to me."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, that's true.  Let's go to the inn and get ourselves a room for the night.  They might even have the same room we shared last night."

He smiled, as he thought of the memory.

Anjela smiled softly as well and gazing lovingly at Matthew, she said, "Well, I like that room because we shared it before but it doesn't have to be anything luxurious again. As long as I have you, I am quite good."

She gave him another quick kiss then said, "It's a long walk back to town and you aren't completely recovered yet. I'll be our ride."

Matthew looked a little worried and replied, "Are you sure?  I don't mind walking into town, if you don't mind it."

He smiled a bit, as he didn't want to trouble Anjela.

Anjela smiled back at Matthew and replied, "Nah, it will make me feel better this way. You need to rest for tonight."

She caressed his cheek tenderly then taking a deep breath, she shapeshifted, changing into her pegasus form.

Matthew continued to smile, seeing how thoughtful and considerate Anjela was towards his condition.  Without saying anything, he got on the pegasus' back and waited for Anjela to take flight towards town and the inn.

After Matthew was secure on her back, Anjela took to the air, flying away from the hill and back towards town. She flew high between the clouds and the stars, and the weather was cool as the night was quite beautiful.

As Anjela flew them through the air, Matthew commented,

"The sky looks really beautiful up here.  You sure are lucky you can shapeshift and fly like this."

Anjela whinnied through her pegasus form and replied,

Heh, you think so? But I tend to enjoy it when I am the rider too. Do you think you could have asked that witch to make a shapeshifter as well? But that wouldn't be wise. She'd probably weaken your heart like she did to me and I couldn't bear that.

Of course, she had no idea that the witch already did that although for completely different reasons.

Matthew felt saddened for a moment as Anjela mentioned about the weakened heart but he tried his best not to let it show.  Instead, he quickly smiled and replied,

"Yeah, you're probably right about that.  Anyway, it never occurred to me to ask for that.  I guess I'm happy just being human."

Anjela replied,

Heh, you're quite strong to me as you are so I wouldn't change a thing about you either. And shapeshifting does take quite a bit of energy so it's no piece of cake.

They continued flying back towards town and they were soon making it back, flying on the outskirts.

Matthew gazed on as the couple made their way back towards town and he commented,

"It always looks so beautiful and it's quiet now, which is no surprise."

Anjela replied,

I like Devenshire at night the most. I mean, it's lively in the day and all, but I guess I prefer the quiet and the night lights.

They were soon flying on town and she said,

You can lead me to the inn. I can't really tell the way around yet.

Matthew nodded and he gave directions towards the inn, pointing to it so that Anjela could see from above.

(Getting sleepy so I'm going to get off for the night now but I'll post in the morning before I go to work and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Anjela followed the directions Matthew gave, and soon they were flying over the inn. She carefully landed on the ground then after Matthew had gotten off, she shapeshifted back into her real form.

She took a deep breath and said, "Here we are."

Matthew smiled and replied, "Yup, let's go in."

He offered Anjela his arm and waited for her to take it before they entered to check in for the night.

Anjela smiled a bit as well and reached to hold Matthew's arm gently, following him inside so they could check in for the night.

The couple entered the inn and upon approaching the front desk, the same man from last night greeted them.  Matthew asked for a room, preferably the same room they stayed in last night.  Fortunately, the room was free, so Matthew signed in and then the man handed him their keys.  Matthew handed a key to Anjela and happily said,

"Ok, let's go to our room."

Anjela took the key from Matthew then smiling, she held his hand and followed him upstairs to their room. Once they made it inside and they closed the door after them, she took a look around the room and smiling, she commented,

"Heh, still as fancy and comfortable as ever."

(Back from work.  ^^)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, it sure is.  Do you want to go ahead and get ready for some sleep or should we relax a bit?"

Anjela smiled a bit and said,

"Well, I admit I am exhausted but I don't mind relaxing with you for a bit."

She went over to the couch near the window and waited for Matthew to follow.

Matthew followed Anjela over to the couch and took a seat beside her.  He happily wrapped his arms around her and looking out the window, he commented,

"It sure is a beautiful night, isn't it?"

Anjela blushed a bit but she laid her head on Matthew's shoulder and nodding, she said,

"Yup, it is. Well, the stars are shining bright and the sky is clear. But the night wouldn't have been beautiful if we had been separated by now, so I think it's your presence that makes it happy to me."

Matthew blushed deeply and replied, "And your presence makes this night all the more beautiful.  I couldn't have taken it if we had been separated, so I'm happy, incredibly happy that we're going to be together."

Anjela continued smiling although a little sadness appeared on her face. She turned her gaze away from Matthew and quietly said,

"I am happy, too, that we'll be together. I am so relieved I won't leave you. But I can't help feeling guilty that I am pulling you down with me. When you love someone, you should help them be better, not worse, right?"
