Romance RP

Matthew chuckled and replied, "Well, it does take a lot of hard work and study to become a doctor and even more so to have the talents that I do.  But I suppose I didn't have much time for fun because of my studies.  That's true."

(I'll be getting ready for work now but I'll be back tonight and I'll post more then.  ^^)

Lycoris giggled a little and replied, "Well, I can imagine. You know, because I was locked in Nerine's body for so long, I had only some books to keep my company as I couldn't have anything to do with the outside world. So I could only study to pass the time as well. But hey, we're together now and maybe we can make up for all the fun we missed."

Matthew smiled and replied, "Yup, that sounds wonderful."

He finished up his dessert and waited for Lycoris to do the same so that he could pay the bill and then they could head towards the stables.

(No problem. I just replied back and all. XD)

Lycoris soon finished up eating her dessert and waited for Matthew to finish taking care of the bill. Once he did and he was back, she got up and holding his arm, she happily said,

"Ok, let's go. I have a feeling this will be a very fun afternoon."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, it sure will be."

He gently held Lycoris' arm and the two left the dessert shop and went outside, heading towards the stables.  Along the way, he asked,

"Do you want to try riding your own horse?  I know your vision is impaired but you might be able to ride on a horse by the feel of it and its reigns and we can go slowly.  Or you can ride with me.  What would you like, my lady?"

(Ok. XD I'll be waiting for your next PM and all. XD)

Lycoris looked thoughtful and replied, "I would love to ride a horse on my own but would it be any fun if I can't see the way ahead? I would be too careful to enjoy myself, you know?"

Matthew looked thoughtful and replied, "Hmm, I can see your point.  Ok then.  We'll just rent one horse and you can hold onto me real tight from behind."

He said those latter words in a slightly sly tone.

(I just replied back and all. XD)

Lycoris could hear the slyness in Matthew's voice and smirking, she said, 

"Oh I don't mind. Just you show me your riding skills, doctor and tell me if you'll be able to focus with such a beauty holding on to you."

Matthew chuckled and replied, "Oh all right.  I guess we'll find out."

The couple arrived at the stables and a stable boy approached them.  Matthew asked for a horse to rent for the afternoon and the stable boy nodded, going inside to find an available horse.

(Ok. Good luck with managing things and all. XD)

As the stable boy went to get them a horse, Lycoris said, 

"So where will you take us? Are you going to ride to the countryside?"

(Thanks.  XD  I'm looking forward to the alone time although, of course, I'll still be here.  ^^)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, that's what I was thinking.  I was thinking of galloping around the town and then having the horse run across the countryside as we enjoy the wind in our hair.  How does that sound?"

(Coolies. XD)

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, 

"Yup, that sounds just perfect. Almost sounds like a romantic ride."

She winked flirtatiously and giggled happily, before giving him a sly look.

Matthew chuckled and looked happily on at Lycoris.  Soon, the stable boy returned, leading a beautiful brown mare by the reigns.  He handed it to Matthew and said that the payment could be taken care of after they returned the horse.  Matthew nodded and he got on first and then helped Lycoris get on behind him.  He then said,

"Just hold onto me tight and enjoy the ride, ok?"

(Getting sleepy and yeah, I really do have work tomorrow lol so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris nodded happily and holding on to Matthew tightly although gently, she excitedly said,

"Go on, sir. I'm all set and ready to go."

Matthew nodded happily and holding the reigns, he ordered the horse to begin a fast, steady gallop, heading to the outskirts of town so that they could go around it a couple of times before they would increase their pace and run in the countryside.

Lycoris held on to Matthew as they started moving through the town, enjoying the feeling of movement although they were only still galloping. She had to admit inwardly that she was genuinely enjoying Matthew's company and spending the day with him.

The couple continued to move until they were outside the town.  Matthew then ordered the horse to go at a faster speed and as they went around the town, Matthew would describe the sights for Lycoris, so that she could imagine how they looked.

(Sorry I am on late today. Had a lot of chores to take care of and all. XD)

Lycoris would listen to Matthew as he described the sights for her and as he went faster, she enjoyed it even more. She happily said,

"I can't wait until you grant me my eyesight again. Then I would be able to see all of this on my own."

(Ahh no problem.  Welcome back.  ^^)

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's right.  Then you'll get to see how beautiful Devenshire and its surroundings are with your own eyes."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "That's right."

She paused then slyly smiling, she said, 

"And I'll get to see you for the first time too. I wonder if you are as handsome as I imagine you?"

Matthew blushed and stammering, he replied, "I-I hope you do.  I mean, I've described to you what I look like, right?  So you kind of have an idea?"

(Random but I wish Steam would allow us the option to hide game activity.  I was trying to fiddle around with the settings today but there is no option and when I did a search, it seems that people have been asking for such an option since 2015 and yet Valve has never bothered trying to look into it.  :/)

(Aww I see. Yeah, that is annoying and yet they never bothered to answer. Valve seems to care less about what the gamers ask of it and all. :/)

Lycoris looked thoughtful and slyly replied, 

"Hmm well, yes, you did but a description is not like seeing you for myself, you know. Maybe you made yourself sound more handsome, eh? I'll see and judge for myself."

(Yeah.  It's totally a matter of privacy and all and from what I read, other people have experienced what I experienced about being harassed about the games they play so there totally should be such an option.  :/  Speaking of gaming, I posted it already on Steam but I'm going to stop gaming for the rest of the summer.  I don't want to cause any more problems and this heat and humidity is making it too difficult to concentrate on certain games so I'm going to have to wait until things literally cool down here.  :/)

Matthew chuckled and replied, "Oh is that what you think?  Then I'll definitely make restoring your eyesight a top priority so you can see me right away.  Isn't that right?"

(Aww I see. I haven't checked Steam yet but I just did and saw your post there. :/ I hate that you have to do this despite how much you like gaming and all but maybe a break from that can help as well. :/) 

Lycoris giggled a little and replied, "Yes, that's right and you know what, I want you to be the very first thing I see when I open my eyes."

(Yeah.  It's normally not supposed to get hot and humid around here until later this month but stupid global warming.  That's why anyone who says it doesn't exist should get whacked in the head.  -.-)

Matthew blushed and replied, "I would be honored to be the first sight you see with your eyes, Lycoris."

He smiled softly at her and the couple continued their run in the countryside, enjoying the wind and the fresh air and the company.
