Ryan replied,

Yes, I hope so.  As Lycoris said, Sia isn't angry at her so hopefully, she can talk some sense into her.

Irene nodded and the party continued eating. Irene was the first one to finish up and getting up, she said,

"Please excuse me, everyone. I'll be heading to the academy now to take care of work."

She curtseyed politely then took her leave.

After Irene left, Bryan finished his breakfast soon after and turning to Rosaline, he asked,

"How would you like to spend the morning, my love?"

Rosaline didn't need much time to think about it and replied,

"The puppies like running around in the morning so we can have a walk in the gardens for the morning. The day is beautiful outside and the weather helps. They'll enjoy it and the good air will help us too."

The puppies barked happily upon hearing Rosaline's suggestion and smiling, Bryan replied,

"That sounds perfect, my love."

He then waited for Rosaline to finish her breakfast.  Meanwhile, as Alex was finishing up, he turned to Nerine and asked,

"How about you, darling?  Is there anything you'd like to do this morning?"

Nerine shrugged and as she couldn't think of anything else, she said, 

"How about the gardens, too? The fresh air may help us clear our minds and feel a little better."

Meanwhile, Avi looked to Ryan and smiling a little to him, he said, 

"Do you want to head to the stables with me, Ryan? I was thinking about spending the morning there."

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Sure, that sounds good."

Ryan turned to Avi and returning his smile, he replied, "Yeah, I like that idea and it has been a while since I visited Melody.  It'd be good to see her."

Avi was happy that Ryan accepted his invitation and nodding, he said, "I am sure she'll like seeing you too. Let's finish up here then and head to her."

He continued eating his breakfast and was soon all done, and waited for Ryan to finish as well.

Ryan soon finished his breakfast as well and seeing that Avi was done, he stood up and said,

"Ok, I'm done so let's get going."

He bowed respectfully to the others and then followed Avi as they headed to the stables.

Avi led the way to the stables where the horses and pegasi had eaten their morning meal and were being tended to by the stable boys. Melody had just finished eating and as she saw Avi and Ryan enter, she whinnied happily and flapped her wings, especially thrilled to see Ryan.

Ryan smiled softly as he saw Melody and heard her whinny happily at him.  He approached her and petting her head, he happily said,

"Good morning, Melody.  How are you?"

(Getting sleepy so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Melody whinnied happily, replying that she was feeling fine and happy to see Ryan. Avi smiled softly and said,

"You and Melody seem to share a very strong bond, Ryan."

Ryan nodded to Avi and replied, "Yeah, Melody's a very special girl."

He looked to Melody and asked, "Aren't you, girl?  Did you miss me?"

Melody whinnied happily, nodding her head and caressing it gently against Ryan's chest, showing her affection. She then looked around Ryan and whinnied questioningly, as though she were wondering where Lisianthus was.

(Ahh I am going out with my mom for the day in a bit so I might not be able to post again except late at night. Just to let you know ahead of time but I will be here tomorrow of course. ^^)

As though Ryan understood what Melody was asking, he sadly said,

"Sia's not here, girl.  She hasn't returned to the castle yet."

Melody whinnied sadly as she heard Ryan's response and then whinnied a little questioningly, as though she were asking him when she would return, and why they weren't together.

Ryan smiled sadly at Melody and replied, "I have no idea when Sia will be back although she should be back sometime today."

He sighed and continued, "We're still having problems.  I kept some things from Sia although they were for her own protection.  You know that she can have a temper at times and not think clearly, right?"

Melody whinnied quietly, saddened to hear that things were still unstable between Ryan and Lisianthus. She continued caressing his chest with her head, whinning quietly and trying to comfort him, as though she were telling him to stay strong and that she had faith that things would eventually become better between them.

Avi quietly commented, "Don't give up, Ryan. I am sure this is only a temporary obstacle and it shall pass. You and Sia share a wonderful love story and it won't go down that easily."

(I got your PM and I understand how it is with schedules changing and all.  ^^)

Ryan smiled a bit to Avi and Melody and replied, "Thanks, you two.  I-I hope that Sia and I can resolve things.  If I could go back and change things, I would."

Avi patted Ryan's shoulder gently and Melody whinnied a little cheerfully, trying to cheer Ryan up. A little later, there was some sort of a commotion heard outside and Avi peeked through the stable's door to check what was going on. A carriage had just arrived and it seemed to be Lisianthus', who had just returned to the castle.

Noticing this, Avi said, "It looks like Sia is back. Her carriage just arrived."

Ryan looked relieved that Lisianthus had finally returned but he wasn't sure whether to immediately approach her or give her some space.  He looked to both Melody and Avi and said,

"I'm glad that Sia is back and that she's safe.  She must be tired from having been out all night."

Avi nodded and replied, 

"That's true. I wonder where she's been. It's not like her to stay out all night, you know? Do you have any idea, Ryan?"

Melody whinnied questioningly too, wondering the same thing.

Ryan replied, "I don't know that, either."

He wanted to say that he knew that Lisianthus had been with Lycoris although he withheld that information, as that would have produced further questions.  But he really didn't know where Lisianthus was and yet had no idea how to get that information from her.

Avi nodded and as they talked, the carriage had stopped in front of the castle's gate, and Lisianthus went out of it. But instead of going into the castle, she had a mind to check over Melody, unaware that Ryan and Avi were there.

So she headed towards the stable and there, she entered, but was surprised to see Ryan and Avi, especially Ryan.

Ryan smiled a bit to Lisianthus and bowing respectfully, he said,

"Welcome back, Sia.  You must want to see how Melody is doing so I'll leave now."

He then turned to Melody and petting her on the head, he gently said,

"It was good to see you, girl, but I shouldn't monopolize your time.  I'm sure Sia has missed you, too."
