Romance RP

Irene replied,

"Well, if you don't find her, just return here. The soldiers will take care of it, I hope. I'll send a few to search around Cephiron too."

She paused then remembering something, she said,

"There's somewhere else I haven't gone to...but I am not sure whether you'll be able to find it. Lisianthus has a small tree house in the outskirts of Cephiron, towards the north. Perhaps she's there?"

Alex looked thoughtful and replied, "I wasn't aware of such a place but does anyone else know of such a place and where it is?"

Irene looked thoughtful and replied,

"I do and Ryan does. I believe he'd been there with her once. Other than that, a few trustworthy soldiers know about it and the chancellor of course. But no one else should know about it."

Alex nodded and replied, "Ok then.  Perhaps you can go check it out?  Or my darling and I could but we'd need directions on how to find it."

Irene looked thoughtful and replied, 

"I think it's best that you go. I need to stay here and arrange the soldiers. I'll give you the directions exactly and you may borrow a couple of horses or even a pegasus to make things easier for you."

She described the location of the tree house, providing all the necessary directions so that the couple may head there easily.

Alex listened carefully as Irene explained where the tree house was.  Nodding, he replied, "Thank you.  We'll head there if we don't find Sia at the beach.  I'd like to borrow a pegasus.  It would make traveling much faster and the sooner we find her, the better."

Irene nodded and replied, 

"Sure, feel free to take what you need from the stables. I'll communicate with the stable boy and let him know that these are my orders."

She sighed and softly said, "Please do your best to find her. It's been a long time since I've seen Lisianthus become so down."

Alex replied, "Yeah, we're worried about her, too."

He sighed to himself, worried about Sia and how she was doing.

Nerine was worried all the same, and not wanting to waste any time, she looked to Alex and said,

"Well then, let's move right away. There's no need to delay things anymore. We need to find Sia as soon as possible."

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, you're right, darling."

He turned to Irene and said, "If there isn't anything else we need to know, we'll go to the stables now and search for Sia."

Irene nodded and replied, 

"Ok. Please let me know if anything comes up or if you are able to find her. Just keep me updated with everything, ok?"

Alex nodded and replied, "Of course and if you find out anything, please let us know as well."

He bowed respectfully to Irene and gently holding on to Nerine's arm, he led the way out of Irene's office and out of the castle towards the stables.

Nerine followed Alex out of Irene's office and to the stables. As they walked, she worriedly said,

"I am hoping that Sia is really at the beach or that tree house. She may have gone there to seek some quiet and peace. I really pray it's just that."

Alex nodded and replied, "Me, too."

The couple arrived at the stables and seeing a stable boy, Alex asked him for a pegasus.  While waiting for one, he said,

"Let's go to the beach first and then try the tree house."

Nerine nodded and replied, "Ok, that sounds good. The beach is closer anyways so we should look there first."

The stable boy soon returned, leading a beautiful brown pegasus. He handed the bridles to Alex and said,

"Here you are, sir. This is a good one and it's easy to ride."

Alex took the pegasus' bridles from the stable boy and replied, "Thank you.  We'll return him here as soon as we get back."

He then led Nerine and the pegasus outside and once there, Alex got on the pegasus and then helped Nerine get on behind him.  Looking to her, he said,

"Hang on tight, darling, ok?"

Nerine wrapped her arms around Alex's waist carefully and once she felt secure, she nodded and replied,

"Ok. I'm ready when you are."

Alex nodded and then holding the bridles, he directed the pegasus to take to the air, heading towards the beach.  Even though the afternoon was beautiful, all Alex could think about was getting to Lisianthus and hoping that she was all right.

Nerine was quite worried about Lisianthus as well and hoped that their search for her would be fruitful. The couple flew on their pegasus until they made it at the beach, which wasn't crowded at all as it was getting late and the sun was slowly setting.

Indeed, sitting far away near the shore, there was Lisianthus and beside her was Melody, who was doing everything she could to comfort her mistress but in vain.

Alex gently guided the pegasus to land on the beach and then he helped Nerine get off and then himself.  Alex looked to where Lisianthus and Melody were and said,

"There, they are, darling.  How should we approach this?"

Nerine was quite relieved that they were able to find Lisianthus and that she seemed alright. Looking at them from far, she quietly said,

"We should quietly approach her and tell her that we were quite worried, ask her why she wouldn't respond to us when we communicated with her. I am so relieved that she's ok."

Alex nodded and replied, "Me, too, and I agree with your idea.  Do you want to do most of the talking, darling?  I feel like Sia might respond better with you than me."

Nerine nodded and replied, "Ok, I'll do my best. But stay by my side, ok?"

She slowly led the way towards Melody and Lisianthus, and the latter was staring with a frown at the ocean in front of them, without seeming to notice the approaching couple at all. It was only when Melody whinnied at the couple's sight that Lisianthus noticed them.

Nerine smiled tentatively at her and gently said,

"Here you are, Sia. We were so worried about you but I am glad we found you now."

Lisianthus said nothing, only looked at the couple with the same frown for a second, before turning her head away to look at the ocean once more.

Alex looked worriedly at Nerine but felt that she should continue speaking to Lisianthus.  Meanwhile, he decided to communicate telepathically to Irene and so said,

Duchess Irene, we've found Sia.  She's at the beach and my darling is talking to her as we speak.

Irene received Alex's message and was quite relieved. Replying, she said,

Oh thank goodness. She's ok. I am so happy you were able to find her. Please come back with her, ok?

Nerine was worried as Lisianthus didn't respond to her and with the same gentle tone, she asked, "Umm what happened? You look quite down, I can tell...You can talk to us about it, right?"

Lisianthus still didn't respond and didn't even turn to the couple, but this was angering her further. She wanted to scream at them to just go away and leave her alone.
