Matthew was surprised to hear this news but he replied,

I see.  I had no idea Sia was planning on such an action but it's obvious that Ryan doesn't agree with her.  It's good to know that you and the chancellor will look after Alex and Lycoris.

Lady Penelope replied,

Yes, thank goodness Ryan doesn't agree with her. He warned me and told me what to do to get out if we need to. But for now, we're staying here with Alex and Lycoris until they can be well on their own.

She paused then said,

If you and Anjela ever need anything, please let me know, darling? I-I know I will pretend that I know nothing of this, but I can't help but worry.

Matthew replied,

Of course, my lady.  I'll be returning in the morning with the excuse that I'll head back home.  But I'll give you a locket that can track the tracker in the necklace I gave Anjela, so you'll know where we are and I'll keep in frequent communication.  I promise.

Lady Penelope felt a little more at ease and replied,

Thank you so much, sweetie. Anjela is truly lucky to have you, darling.

She paused then said,

I shall leave you to get some rest now but do keep in touch, okay? And look out for yourself, too, sweetie. Don't be hard on yourself; you need to take it easy too.

Matthew replied,

I will try, my lady.  I'm sorry to have disturbed you so late but I wanted to make sure you knew where we are and that we're ok.

Lady Penelope replied,

Oh darling, there is nothing to apologize for. I am so grateful to you and I am forever in your debt to take care of my daughter so. Thank you so much, sweetie.

Matthew smiled and replied,

You're welcome, my lady.  You should get some sleep and I should, too, but I'll come by tomorrow morning.

Lady Penelope replied,

I'll wait for you, darling. Have a good night's sleep.

She then shut off the telepathy, taking a deep breath, having mixed feelings.

After he finished communicating with Lady Penelope, Matthew took a deep breath and then smiled upon gazing Anjela sleeping beside him.  Deciding that he should get some sleep, too, he closed his eyes, soon letting sleep overtake him.

(I guess we should start off the next morning.  XD)

(Yup. XD I'll take the lead on Lisianthus and Ryan and you can wake Matthew and Anjela? XD)

The next morning, Lisianthus woke up a little after sunrise, feeling rested and refreshed. She gazed at Ryan sleeping peacefully next to her and cuddled closer to him, gazing fondly and happily at him.

(Sure.  XD)

Ryan smiled as he felt Lisianthus cuddle him and he instinctively hugged her, wanting to get as much of her warmth as possible.

The next morning, Matthew woke up a little after the sun rose and upon his vision clearing, he observed Anjela sleeping soundly beside him.  He smiled at her, admiring how beautiful she was to him always.

Lisianthus felt Ryan hugging her closer and she giggled quietly to herself, enjoying the loving, warm gesture. She leaned in to give him a loving kiss to wake him up in the most romantic way.

Anjela continued to sleep a little more, feeling more relaxed and at ease than she had been in a long time, warmed by Matthew's arms. She snuggled more closely to him, wrapping her arms around him and taking in as much as possible of his warmth.

Ryan felt himself get woken up as Lisianthus kissed him but he pretended to be asleep although he happily returned the kiss, enjoying being woken up this way.

Matthew continued to smile as he felt Anjela's arms wrap around him.  Although he knew that they had a busy day ahead of them, he didn't want to rush things.  Rather, he just wanted to enjoy this quiet, peaceful moment with the most wonderful woman ever.

Lisianthus felt Ryan returning the kiss and happily wrapped her arms around him, continuing to kiss him so lovingly as she woke him up, starting the morning in such a blissful, romantic way.

A little later, Anjela opened her eyes and woke up. The first thing to catch in sight was Matthew and smiling sleepily at him, she said,

"Morning, Matt. Heh, looks like I have been sleeping for a while?"

Ryan continued to kiss Lisianthus happily for a little longer and once the kiss ended, he opened his eyes and sleepily said,

"Good morning, beautiful."

Matthew smiled and nodding, he replied, "Yup, a bit but it looks like you slept very well.  I know I did because I have the most wonderful woman here with me."

Lisianthus grinned happily at Ryan and replied,

"Good morning, cutie. Heh, I disturbed your sleep, didn't I? I couldn't help it though. I miss you and I want your company."

Anjela blushed but smiling slyly at Matthew, she replied, "Really now. But yup, I slept quite well. Heh, sorry we ended up sleeping on the couch. I was too exhausted to get up last night. Now that I think about it, yesterday was pretty eventful."

Ryan chuckled and replied, "Awww it's ok, beautiful.  I certainly don't mind being woken up by you.  Did you sleep well?"

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, you can sure say that again.  We both needed the sleep and it felt comfortable here on the couch."

Lisianthus nodded happily and replied, "Sure did, sleeping in your arms, cutie. What about you? Are you all rested?"

Anjela nodded then looking with a bit of concern at Matthew, she said,

"How are you feeling this morning? Are you better? More rested?"

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Yup, I sure am."

Nala then woke up and as she stretched her body, she meowed happily at the couple.

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yup, I feel much better and it's all because of you, Anjela.  You're not a doctor or healer but you definitely have quite the healing effect on me."

Lisianthus heard Nala meowing at them and briefly letting go of Ryan, she picked Nala up and holding her happily, she said,

"Morning, Nala. How are you, girl? Slept all well?"

Anjela blushed a little more and smiling softly at Matthew, she said, "Heh, I am glad to hear that. Guess I need to stay close to you so I can save and heal you when you need me too."

She winked slyly at him.

Nala meowed happily at Lisianthus and she gently licked Lisianthus' hand.  Ryan smiled and as he gently petted Nala's head, he said, 

"That sounds like a yes to me."

Matthew chuckled and replied, "Heh, that's right.  I need to be near you as much as possible.  I hope that won't be too inconvenient."

His eyes twinkled with mirth.

Lisianthus giggled happily and gently scratching Nala's chin, she said,

"That's great to hear. Looks like we're all set and ready to have a great day. We're going back to the gods' world today, Nala."

Anjela chuckled a little and looking back lovingly at Matthew, she said,

"Of course not. I want you to be near me as much as possible, too."

She caressed his cheek softly then leaned in to give him a sweet kiss on the lips.

Nala meowed curiously as she heard Lisianthus' comment and Ryan said,

"Awww you actually first appeared in the gods' world, Nala.  That's when I introduced you to Sia."

Nala looked as though she suddenly remembered and she meowed happily.

Matthew happily returned the kiss, pouring all of his love and passion into it.  In truth, his heart wasn't getting stronger but he wasn't feeling worse, either, so he thought his condition was manageable.

Lisianthus giggled happily and said, "Oh she remembers now, cutie. So in a way, we're all going home, Nala. You're going to love it and we're going to get you another pet to keep you company then you two will have lots of room to run around and play in the gardens."

Anjela continued kissing Matthew lovingly for a few more moments before the kiss eventually had to end, and gazing tenderly at him, she said,

"I love you. Heh, I still can't believe this is real. I won't wake up in a bit and find out this was all some sort of a dream, will I, eh?"

Nala meowed happily, looking excited at the idea.  Ryan chuckled and commented, "Nala sounds happy and who can blame her?  She'll have a companion to keep her company and lots of room to run around."

Matthew shook his head and replied, "This is all real, Anjela.  I love you forever and I'm going to be by your side always."
