Romance RP

(Sneaking in a post from work since I didn't have time to post at home. XD)

Nerine nodded and whispered back to Helena, "I-I do. Now I wish they came from the king and queen."

With the same smirk, the soldier replied, "Will it make a difference who we are? It's not a choice to come with us or not but you will make things a lot easier for yourselves if you come willingly and without trouble. You're just a couple of ladies after all; we don't want to use force."

(Ahh ok.  XD)

Helena replied, "Ok, then why do you want us?  We're just a couple of ladies, after all, as you say."

Helena leaned towards Nerine and asked, "Who are they?"

Nerine whispered to Helena, "It-it's a long story but to make it short, they are bad guys."

The soldier was getting impatient but he replied, 

"You'll know in time. I am not one to tell you everything. There is someone who'll answer all your questions. Now you come with us without resistance or we make you."

Helena was getting a little annoyed with the lack of answer and she replied, through irritated teeth,

"Not until you tell us who you are and why you want us.  Do you even have the right people?  You must think we're important but we're nobodies."

The soldier smirked and replied, "You maybe nobody, but the other lady is definitely someone. The former princess of the devils' world. You may be in disguise, princess, but certain things can't be hidden."

Nerine was surprised as the soldier indeed recognized her. She was afraid but as she knew they were outnumbered and would be easily overpowered, she summoned all strength she could muster so she could reply,

"I-I will come if you want me but let my friend go. She has nothing to do with this."

Helena shook her head and replied, "No, I'm not leaving you behind."

She turned to the soldiers and said, "You know, you're being quite rude, demanding that we come to you without even the decency of a proper introduction."

As the group was engaged in such conversation, nearby, there was a group of the king and queen's soldiers, doing an evening patrol.  They hadn't yet spotted the others although it was only a matter of time.

The soldier was getting quite impatient but deciding to finally answer, he replied in a serious, firm tone, 

"We come from the captain. He wishes to see the princess for a little bit. There, that's your answer. Now you better come without resistance or else."

He had his sword ready in hand, and his other soldiers were surrounding the ladies.

Helena shielded Nerine and said, "Then you're going to have to take us by force, because there's no way we'll willingly go with you."

Just then, the group of the king and queen's soldiers noticed the commotion from the other soldiers and began to approach them, as it was their duty to keep the peace in Devenshire and the surrounding land.

(Had lots of housework today so I can only sneak a post from work while I can. XD)

The other soldiers surrounding the couple noticed the approaching soldiers, and one of them whispered in their leader's ear to warn him. Their leader groaned but deciding to act quickly, he said,

"Fine then. You asked for it."

He motioned for one of his soldiers to take action and instantly, that soldier cast a powerful spell, trapping the ladies in a strong magical field. The moment after, their leader cast a powerful transport spell, that the whole group disappeared from the spot.

(Ahh ok.  XD)

The king and queen's soldiers were startled as the other group disappeared from their view.  They looked around for anything but seeing nothing, they decided to return to the castle and inform the king and queen of what happened.

Meanwhile, as Alex was spending the time he had left with Lycoris, he suddenly felt like something was wrong.  He clutched his chest and whispered,

"It hurts, it hurts."

Lycoris was alarmed as she felt Alex was in pain and worry all over her face, she asked,

"What's wrong, Alex? What hurts? Are you alright?"

Meanwhile, the soldiers had transported themselves and the ladies to a distant part of the humans' world, away from Devenshire. It seemed like a cave, but it was inhabited by other soldiers and structured into rooms. 

The leader of the soldiers smirked and said, "You can scream all you want here but no one will ever hear you. Now you move forward so I take you to your cell until the captain comes to check you out."

Alex replied, "I don't know.  I feel like something bad's happened.  I don't know what it could be, though."

Helena frowned but didn't say anything.  She looked at Nerine and nodded her head, silently indicating that they had no choice but to do as they said for now.

Lycoris continued to worry and replied, 

"Something bad? But-but what could have happened? Maybe-maybe it's just a bad thought that crossed your mind?"

Nerine nodded back to Helena although she couldn't help but feel afraid inside. She knew what the captain was like and she had no idea what he planned to do to them.

The leader led the ladies to a cell, and after making sure they were inside, he closed the cell's door and looking at them from outside, he said, "The captain will be here to see you soon. Prepare till then."

He then left, leaving them alone.

Alex shook his head and replied, "No, something terrible's happened."

Realizing the time, he said, "My darling and Helena should be heading back anytime now.  We should go inside."

Helena turned to Nerine and quietly said, "We don't have much time so talk.  You obviously know who's taken us.  I need as much information as possible so we can figure out what to do."

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Ok. I hope nothing bad's happened and it's just a random feeling."

She got up and waited for Alex to lead her inside.

Nerine sighed and nodding, she replied, "Yes, sadly, I know. It's the former captain of the soldiers of the castle in the gods' world. But he's a bad guy. A terribly bad guy."

She told Helena everything she knew about that man as quickly as she could, starting from who he was, what he wanted and the events that she encountered because of him so far.

(Ok, I have to get off to catch work and all. XD See you tomorrow, phoenix. ^^)

(Ok, I might have to go to work later tomorrow so I may not be here for regular posting but we'll see.  ^^)

Alex got up, cleaned up their things, and gently holding onto Lycoris' arm, he escorted her inside the house.

Helena nodded and listened carefully as Nerine told her what she knew.  After she was done, Helena said,

"Ok, I understand but why would he take us or you?  I mean, I'm assuming that he was aiming for you and not Lycoris.  It doesn't make sense."

(Ahh ok, I understand. ^^)

Lycoris followed Alex to inside and there, they gave one of the maids the items they used for their picnic. Lycoris then said,

"Should we wait in the living room? I think Nerine and Helena should be back quite soon."

Nerine was thoughtfully silent for a moment then sighing, she said,

"I am not his target. I am useless to him. But I'm guessing that he decided to use me to blackmail Lycoris or threaten her. He couldn't reach her so he decided to use this tactic instead. It's only a guess but it's the closest one I can reach."

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes..."

He trailed off and suddenly realizing something, he said, "I'll communicate with her to see when they're getting back."

He opened up his telepathy and reaching out to Nerine, he said,

Darling, it's me.  Can you hear me?


Helena nodded and replied, "Yes, that makes sense.  Do you think Lycoris would surrender herself to save you?"

(If I have to go out for work later today, I probably won't be able to post again until after you leave for work but we'll see.  ^^)

(Coolies. I wasn't free until just now so I'll post and stay on for a bit until I have to go to work. XD)

Nerine furrowed her eyebrows and replied, "I don't know but I doubt. Why would she? She wants me out of her way after all."

She then heard Alex's telepathic message and a feeling of relief coming over her, she said, "Hang on, Alex is talking to me."

She quickly replied,

Alex, please help me. The-the captain kidnapped us. His soldiers had been tracking us and we couldn't flee from them.

(I got back so I'll make this post now.  XD)

Alex was scared and confused as he heard Nerine tell him that they had been kidnapped and he replied,

What?  How?  I don't understand.  Where are you?  I'll come find you.

(I couldn't post when I came back from work last night but I am free to post now. XD)

Nerine took a moment to calm herself down and replied,

I and Helena were coming back but then Helena felt that something was off and that we were being watched. She was right. We tried to lose them but they surrounded us in a secluded area in the end. They were the captain's soldiers. But I-I have no idea where we are. They teleported us to some sort of a cave and there are lots of them. They say that-that the captain will come see us soon.

(No problem.  I'm here now as well although my posts may be slow.  XD)

Alex took a moment to think and then replied,

Ok, darling, can you describe to me where you are?  Do you think you're in the human world?  If you're not too far away, we can get to you quickly.

(No problem. XD)

Nerine looked around her, trying to find anything distinct about their location. She replied,

It's a cave, but I think it's huge because it's well-structured as though there were rooms. But I can't tell where we are. It can't be too far though. I-I mean, I don't know but we were teleported here so I guess at least we're still in the humans' world.

Alex replied,

Ok, I'll get Matt and the others.  We'll go rescue you and Helena.  Is there anything else we need to know so I can tell the others?

Nerine replied,

No...please hurry. I-I am scared from that captain, Alex. I don't know what he is planning for us.
