Irene replied,

Alright then. Please let me know how things go, Ryan. I'm truly worried about her and if you two can resolve things...you have no idea how much that is going to help her.

(Thanks.  I'm back now.  ^^)

Ryan replied, 

I will.  Thank you for your advice and counsel, Duchess Irene.  I'll talk to you later.


He then shut off the telepathy and turning to Lycoris, he said,

"I talked to Duchess Irene and it looks like we have a plan."

He told Lycoris of his conversation with Duchess Irene.

Lycoris listened carefully to everything Ryan told her about his conversation with Irene and smiling a bit, she said,

"That's good. I agree with that plan. Now we can only pray that Sia can hear you out and you two can resolve things. I am sure that alone will fix a world of problems and you two will feel a lot better, right?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yes, I'm sure it will.  I'll talk to Sia and make sure that she hears me out and have everything resolved.  I'm going to do it today.  I'm just glad that you're all right and safe."

Realizing something, he then said, "The head healer isn't with you.  I'm surprised I didn't see him when I entered your room."

Lycoris smiled softly and replied, 

"He takes a break during the morning. The duke is quite busy during the mornings anyways so don't worry about him. And I don't wish to burden the head healer 24/7 with looking after me. He has other duties to attend to after all."

She paused then continued, her smile widening a little, "But I am really happy I got to see you, Ryan. You don't know how much I missed you and I missed the others too. Please send my regards to everyone else."

Ryan nodded and replied, "I will.  I'll let everyone know how you're doing.  I'm glad I got to see you, Lycoris, and I'm glad you're safe."

He gave Lycoris another hug, happy that it looked like things were turning out for the better.

Lycoris returned the hug happily, feeling quite glad and happy as well that she was able to see Ryan and feel his warmth once more. It seemed like her other personality was also in the background for now, with the elixir affecting her and keeping her calm for now.

Ryan let go of Lycoris after a few moments and then said,

"I suppose I should get going but do you need anything before I go, Lycoris?"

Lycoris was a bit saddened that Ryan had to go but knowing that he couldn't stay much longer, she shook her head and replied,

"No, I'm ok but Ryan, do keep in contact with me, ok? Umm will I see you again? I mean, if things don't go quite well with Sia, could you come again?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "I'm sure I could.  Now that I know where you are, I can get Melody to take me or I can get another pegasus but I will come see you again and I will keep in regular contact with you, too.  I'm going to miss you, Lycoris, but I'm going to do everything in my power to get you out of here and to resolve things with Sia soon."

(I'll be going to sleep now since I have to wake up pretty early tomorrow but I'll post again as soon as I'm back from my grandma's place.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris smiled hopefully and replied, 

"I am sure you will. Good luck and just keep in contact with me, alright? I will wait until next time you talk to me and hopefully, tell me some good news."

Ryan replied,

"I will.  I'll contact you tonight and let you know how things go."

He gave Lycoris one more hug and then a kiss on the cheek and after letting her go, he approached the window, waiting for Melody to return so he could get on her back and head back towards the castle.

(Sorry I wasn't able to post before now. Let's just say that today has been a very bad day for me that I just want it to be over already. :/)

A little later, Melody passed by the window and seeing that Ryan was waiting for her, she whinnied and slowly approached the window, making herself available for him so he could get on her safely.

(Awww I'm sorry, Love.  I definitely know how that feels.  :/)

Seeing Melody all ready, Ryan used his telepathy to communicate with Lycoris and said,

I'll be going now but I'll talk to you again soon.


He then carefully got on Melody's back and once safely on, he directed her to leave the mansion grounds and to head back to the castle.

(Yeah. :/)

Melody flew back towards the castle, making her way back. As she and Ryan flew, she whinnied happily, hoping that Ryan had liked her surprise and was glad to see Lycoris.

Ryan smiled softly at Melody and said,

"Thank you, Melody.  Thank you for bringing me to Lycoris.  It was a very nice surprise indeed.  You knew how worried I was about her, weren't you?"

Melody whinnied happily, confirming that she did and that's why she brought him to see Lycoris, hoping she would be helping.

The two of them soon made it back at the castle, and Melody slowly landed near the stable.

As soon as Melody landed, Ryan got off of her back and then as he led her back to her stall, he said,

"Thank you, girl.  You really are the best pegasus ever and don't you ever let anyone tell you otherwise, ok?"

He winked happily at Melody, feeling both happy and hopeful.

Melody whinnied happily and flapped her wings, truly happy and proud of what she's done and that she was able to make Ryan receive some good news. As he led her back to the stable, she entered her stall and then whinnied happily once more, thanking Ryan for the flight and expressing how happy she was.

Ryan smiled softly at Melody as he petted her head and getting an idea, he cast a magic spell and in his left hand, there appeared a delicious red apple.  Handing it to Melody, he asked,

"Do you apples, Melody?  I thought you should have one as a thank you for what you did today."

Melody whinnied excitedly and reached out to pick up the apple from Ryan's hand with her mouth, munching it happily and eating it. After she was done, she whinnied happily again and flapped her wings, as her way of saying thank you for the wonderful treat.

Ryan fondly petted Melody on her head and said,

"You're welcome, girl.  You deserve it at least for taking me to Lycoris.  And I'm going to resolve things with Sia.  I won't stop until I do.  That's a promise."

Melody whinnied once more but this time it was more quiet, as though she were gently asking him to do that for real, as she too was quite worried about Lisianthus and couldn't stand seeing her suffer. In addition, she also missed seeing them two together and enjoying the flights they would all take together.

As though Ryan could completely understand what Melody was telling him, he nodded and said,

"I understand, girl.  I'm not going to give up until I resolve things with Sia.  I miss our romantic flights, too."

Melody whinnied happily then, cheering Ryan on and wishing him the best of luck. She could only hope that his attempts to resolve things with Lisianthus would be successful. Giving him a light push on the chest, it was as though she were gently telling him to go on and that she was cheering for him.
