Romance RP

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok then.  Let's teleport to Alex's house and let everyone know what's happened.  I hate that we'll have to wake them up but I suppose there's no choice."

Irene nodded and replied, "That's true. I'll teleport us there then."

She cast the spell and teleported the two of them to outside Alex's house. She let Ryan take care of things then.

Ryan approached the front door and knocked on it, hoping that someone would be awake and able to answer it.

(Hmm, should someone answer the door or should we have Irene and Ryan teleport inside the house?  XD)

(Ahh the shapeshifter is still awake so she can answer the door. XD)

Inside the house, the shapeshifter was upstairs in her room, trying to get some sleep although she couldn't as her mind was worrying about the whole matter with Lycoris. It was then when she heard a knock on the door and wondered who it could be.

She got out of the bed and after putting on her cloak, she went downstairs and opened the door, only to see Ryan and surprisingly, Duchess Irene. Frowning, she said,

"Why are you here...?"

(Ahh ok.  XD)

Ryan replied, "Can we come inside, please?  It's about Lycoris and don't worry.  Duchess Irene already knows about the matter and she's here to help.  Sia doesn't know anything."

He looked to Irene for confirmation.

Irene nodded and replied, "That's true. No harm is meant."

The shapeshifter was worried as Ryan mentioned Lycoris and as she wasn't with them, she could only expect the worst. She stepped aside and nodding, she let them enter before closing the door once again.

Once they were inside, Ryan turned to the shapeshifter and said,

"Lycoris escaped."

He then explained what had happened between him and Lycoris at his place and how he had collapsed and all.

The shapeshifter's doubts were confirmed as Ryan told her of what happened, but it didn't decrease her anger one bit. She was enraged that Ryan let her escape so simply, and unable to hold herself back, she angrily said,

"What do you mean, she escaped?! How could you let her go so simply?! You collapsed so she ran away, really?! This is how you keep out for her and make sure she's always with you?!"

Ryan replied, "W-what was I supposed to do?  I didn't think that she would leave just like that."

He looked down at the floor, the tears forming in his eyes.

The shapeshifter rolled her eyes and replied, "You didn't think she would leave! Really? What else could she have been trying to do?!"

Irene sighed and replied, "Miss, please. Yelling at Ryan won't help solve anything. We need to find Lycoris as soon as possible but unfortunately, we've already looked for her at a few places and there was no sign of her anywhere."

Ryan nodded and replied, "That's why we came to you.  Perhaps you have an idea for finding her that we haven't considered."

The shapeshifter rolled her eyes and replied,

"Really now? You waste her and let her escape then come to me to look for her? Who is supposed to know her better, you or me?"

Ryan replied, "We tried searching in all of the places that we've been to but there's no trace of her.  But she must still be in the human world and she couldn't have gone that far.  P-please just help us find her.  Surely you must have an idea that we haven't thought of."

The shapeshifter sighed in frustration and after a few moments of trying to think of something, she replied,

"Does this Lycoris know anyone else in the humans' world, someone who could help her out? Better yet, what do you think this Lycoris could be planning to do? What would be her goal?"

Ryan replied, "This Lycoris doesn't trust me and of course, she doesn't trust anyone here.  So she might go to the person who would be against us.  I thought of Duke Collins but would this Lycoris really go so far as to contact him for help?  I hate the idea that she would do so but I'm really not sure."

The shapeshifter furrowed her eyebrows and replied,

"I thought she doesn't stand the guy? And the other Lycoris was scared of him."

Irene looked thoughtful and replied, "This is a possibility we can't ignore. Duke Collins is the only person who would be willing to help this Lycoris out. But I can't find a way to make sure. If we just contact Duke Collins and ask him, he will simply deny."

Ryan replied, "There must be a way we can find out.  At least then, we can either pay closer attention to him or eliminate him as a possibility."

The shapeshifter looked thoughtful and replied, 

"Well, he should be at the castle at the moment, shouldn't he? If Lycoris had contacted him in any way, wouldn't he leave to see her or get in touch with her?"

Ryan replied, "Maybe but we were near the castle just now and there didn't seem to be any activity of Duke Collins having entered."

He looked to Irene and asked, "Should we go back and check there again and ask for admittance this time?"

(Getting sleepy here so I'll get off for the night now and go to sleep.  Tomorrow is a holiday here so I can post more although I do have to go out for part of the day.  It shouldn't affect my posting but just in case.  Anyway, nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

The shapeshifter interrupted by saying, 

"I definitely didn't mean Devenshire's castle. I meant the castle at the gods' world. If Lycoris had contacted him in any way and asked him to see her, wouldn't anyone at the castle notice his absence or something?"

Ryan widened his eyes in surprise and replied, "Yes, you're right."

He turned to Irene and said, "I should contact Sia right away but how can we ask her to check up on him without tipping her off?"

Irene looked a little troubled as Ryan mentioned Lisianthus, as she didn't encourage for him to talk to her at that moment. Thinking of something else, she replied,

"I have a better idea. The priest at the chapel would know if Duke Collins used the gate to come to the humans' world. We could contact and ask him."

Ryan nodded eagerly and replied, "Yes, that's a great idea.  Would you mind contacting the priest, Duchess Irene?  I think you know him better than I."

Irene nodded and replied, 

"Yes, I will. Hold on."

She used her telepathic power to contact the priest and ask him about Duke Collins and indeed, the priest answered that only a few minutes ago, Duke Collins used the gate to go to the humans' world along with some of his soldiers.

Irene thanked the priest then shutting off the telepathy, she looked at the shapeshifter and Ryan and frowning, she said,

"The priest told me that Duke Collins left to the humans' world a little ago. But he couldn't know where exactly as Duke Collins insisted on adjusting the gate himself."

Ryan replied, "Darn it.  That duke will get to her before we do unless..."

He had an idea and said, "We could talk to the king and queen here.  Explain that it's an emergency and that Lycoris needs to be found immediately.  They could have soldiers scout the area right away.  Maybe they can find her before he does."
