Romance RP

Alex nodded and turning to Nerine, he asked, "How about we spend the rest of the morning in the gardens, darling?"

Ryan looked saddened meanwhile, as he wasn't sure how he was going to spend the morning.  He wanted to reconcile things with Lisianthus although he wasn't sure if she was ready for that.

Nerine nodded happily and replied, 

"Yes, I'd love that. The gardens are always beautiful in the morning so it will be the perfect place to enjoy your company after so long, Alex."

She waited for him to excuse them so they could head to the gardens to enjoy the morning. Meanwhile, Lisianthus quietly said, 

"I have work to take care of during the morning so I'm not leaving the office. Just come during the afternoon when it's time to meet again; you'll find me here."

Ryan got up and bowing politely to everyone, he said, "Then I won't disturb you, Sia. I-I guess I'll be in my room if anyone needs me."

He then left the room quickly.

Alex got up and after helping Nerine up, he said, "We'll be in the gardens but we'll see everyone at lunch?"

Irene and Lisianthus nodded to Alex, and Irene said,

"Sure, of course. We'll be at the dining room by then."

Irene wasn't pleased by how Ryan and Lisianthus were staying apart from each other, but couldn't think of anything to do to change the situation.

Alex bowed respectfully to Lisianthus and Irene and gently holding Nerine's arm, he led the way out of the office and then outside to the gardens.  He looked at his surroundings and happily said,

"I've missed this place and your company, darling."

Nerine held on to Alex quite happily, and looking at him fondly, she said,

"I used to come here often but I've never felt as happy as I feel now. I missed you awfully a lot, Alex. It feels great to have you back. Now I can enjoy this place to the fullest in your company."

Alex smiled lovingly at Nerine and replied, "As can I, my darling."

He paused and then asked, "Irises are still your favorite, right?  We should go take a look at them."

Nerine nodded happily and replied, "Yes, they definitely are."

She followed him to where the irises were, beautiful and smelling wonderful. She pointed at them and happily said,

"Look, Alex. They're as beautiful as ever. I bet they're celebrating your return."

Alex chuckled happily and replied, "Yes, I bet they are."

He gazed admiringly at the irises and then leaned in to give Nerine a sweet, loving kiss on the lips.

Nerine returned the kiss with all the love and emotions in her heart, thinking that it was the perfect moment, as they were in the best of settings and she was with the love of her life.

Meanwhile, Irene had left Lisianthus' office and although she should have headed to the academy right away, she wanted to make sure that Ryan was alright first, as he seemed depressed when he left Lisianthus' office. She headed to his room and knocking gently on it, she asked,

"Ryan, are you in there?"

Ryan was sitting on the bed when he heard a knock and Irene's voice.  Quietly, he replied,

"Yes, I'm in.  Come inside."

He looked down at his hands, feeling depressed that things didn't seem to be looking up yet.

(Ahh I'm posting now when I can before heading to college and all. XD)

Irene opened the door slowly and went into the room. She saw Ryan sitting on the bed and looking depressed and she sighed, as she didn't like seeing him this way.

Approaching him, she sat down beside him and putting a hand on his shoulder, she gently said,

"Hey, don't worry. I know things are looking pretty dark at the moment but it will brighten up."

(Ahh ok.  XD)

Ryan looked up at Irene and replied, "I-I hope so.  I wanted to talk to Sia after the meeting but then she said she had work to do and..."

He paused and asked, "Will she ever forgive me?"

Irene nodded immediately without thinking and replied,

"Yes, most definitely she will. Lisianthus can be blinded by her anger at times but once she calms down and thinks clearly, her heart forgives quickly."

She reached out to pat Ryan's hand gently and said, "Lisianthus loves you very much, Ryan. She can't live without you. I mean that."

(I'm so sorry that I'm back really late tonight.  We had this special event today and it ran over and then we all went out for dinner so I'm only back just now.  :/)

Ryan nodded and replied, "I hope so.  So you believe I should give Sia some time and she'll forgive me?"

(Ahh I understand. Welcome back. ^^)

Irene smiled a little and nodding, she replied, 

"Yes, I believe so. Lisianthus loves you very much and she will definitely find it in her heart to forgive you. Just give her a chance to think things over and once everything gets resolved and things are calmer, you can talk things out."

Ryan nodded and replied, "Ok, I'll be patient.  Umm, when do you think it would be a good time for me to approach Sia?  I don't want to rush her when she needs time and all."

Irene was silent for a moment then replied, 

"I think it will be clear over her face when she's calm enough to talk to, but let's give her a couple of days at least, ok? Or at least when things get resolved with Lycoris. Lisianthus is probably feeling stressed at the moment with all these troubles so that isn't helping very much."

Ryan nodded and replied, "I understand.  I'll do my best to be strong and patient until Sia is ready.  I just wish I could do more but I shouldn't push her.  I just hope that everything will get resolved soon.  I want Lycoris back and things between Sia and me to be good again."

Irene nodded and replied, 

"I understand and I am absolutely sure that things will go right and this will be in the end."

She paused then said, "I should head to the academy now but I don't think you should be staying in your room all morning like this. Do you want to come with me? Perhaps you can take a tour of the academy while I work."

Ryan thought about Irene's proposal and nodding, "Yes, I would like that very much and it has been a while."

He smiled and stood up, looking forward to the distraction.

Irene was glad Ryan accepted her invitation and smiling, she got up and said, "Let's go then."

She led the way out of the room and then downstairs where she led the way to the gardens and then to the stable. There, there was her carriage all prepared for her, and the stableman helped her and Ryan into it, before the driver started leading to the city.

As the two of them headed to the academy, Ryan asked,

"How is your work at the academy?  It's been quite a long time since I've last had a lesson with you, Duchess Irene."

Irene smiled at Ryan and replied, 

"It's just the usual, Ryan but I do miss giving you lessons, Ryan. It's definitely been a long time. Say, when everything is calmer and settled again, would you like me to give you magic lessons regularly again? I don't think I've told you everything I know yet."

Ryan nodded happily and replied, "Yes, I would like that very much.  I've missed having our lessons.  Do you teach regularly at the academy?  I would like to observe one of your classes sometime."
