Romance RP

Lady Penelope smiled softly and replied, "We'd love to check it out. I am sure it's quite beautiful."

The chancellor said, "I'd be quite interested in meeting the royal couple, if it's possible. It's always great to meet wonderful people and learn from them."

Eleanor turned to the chancellor and replied, "I think you can.  In less than a week, there's going to be the chocolate festival in town and the king and queen will be there so we can meet them then."

Edward added, "If you'd like to meet them before then, Eleanor and I can certainly arrange it."

The chancellor shook his head and replied,

"I appreciate the kind offer but I can wait until the festival. I am sure they must be quite busy attending to various matters and I wouldn't like to take much of their time. I can certainly wait until I see them in chocolate festival."

Edward nodded and replied, "Of course, I understand."

Eleanor asked, "While the two of you are here, are there any places in particular you wish to visit?  Oh I know.  You should check out the music conservatory.  It's famous here."

The chancellor replied, "Oh there's a music conservatory here? That's beautiful. I'd definitely love to check it out."

Lady Penelope nodded and replied, "Same here. I wonder how music is like in the humans' world."

Alex replied, "Music is absolutely wonderful and Devenshire is famous for having the best music conservatory in the human world.  It's pretty competitive to enter."

Edward added, "Bryan studied there."

The chancellor smiled and nodding, he said, 

"In that case, I am sure it's a wonderful music conservatory. I'd had the pleasure of listening to Sir Bryan's music a couple of times and it was definitely extraordinary."

Lycoris smiled softly and nodding in agreement, she said, "It sure is one of a kind."

Eleanor commented, "The conservatory is where the best musicians and singers go to perfect their talents.  It's open to the public in the afternoons although we can go in the mornings by appointment.  It's quite the place."

Alex looked happily at Lycoris and asked, "What other places do you think we should show Lady Penelope and the chancellor, Lycoris?"

Lycoris looked thoughtful then happily said,

"The countryside, of course. It's a wonderful place with lots of things to see and the farmers there are so friendly."

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Ahh yes, that's true.  The farmers here work very hard and grow delicious crops.  The countryside here is very conducive for that."

Eleanor added, "And it's great just to explore it."

Lady Penelope replied, "I am curious to see it. I am more used to Cephiron and its city atmosphere so I don't get to see enough countryside and I am sure Devenshire's one is quite beautiful."

Lycoris nodded in agreement and said, "Definitely."

Edward commented, "Everyone here works very hard, whether they're nobles or commoners.  For instance, I'm a landowner so I have to oversee the people who work on the land I lend out to them and help them out if they have any problems."

Alex added, "My lady, you should check out Lessire, too, sometime.  It sounds somewhat similar to Cephiron."

(Random but I'm feeling a bit down because I can't spend money on Christmas presents this year because of the work situation and all.  I suppose it's selfish of me to say so in the first place but I see a lot of my friends able to spend money on sales and I can't do the same.  :/)

(Aww hey, don't feel bad about it, ok? I am sure things will get better soon. In the meantime, try to enjoy yourself some other way. I am sure there are more things to do than buying presents and such? We don't celebrate Christmas here so I don't know much but there must be other ways to enjoy the holidays, right? ^^)

Lady Penelope looked curious and replied,

"Really? I suppose it's a large city and such as well then? Does it have a lot of people, and does its people know magic?"

(I guess.  Seeing and hearing things related to Christmas has me feeling a bit down this year so I'm trying to minimize my exposure to them for my own sake.  But at the same time, I don't want others to get down because I'm feeling that way.  Oh well.)

Alex replied, "Well, it is a large city like Cephiron and some of the residents do know magic although it's not a magic-centered city, by any means."

Edward added, "In the human world, it's harder to find people who can wield magic.  Nowadays, people rely more on learning science and technology."

(Aww. Just try to stay positive, okay? I am not able to say much, I know and I feel bad about it but I am truly hoping you feel better soon because I don't like see you down. ^^ Hopefully things will start getting brighter sooner than you think. )

Lady Penelope nodded in understanding and the chancellor commented, "It's amazing how the differences between our worlds are. I don't think many people in the gods' world think of developing scientifically. Magic is our way of doing everything."

(Thanks.  Well, I'll do my best.   )

Edward replied, "That is interesting to learn about the differences between our worlds.  There are magic users here but not as many as in the gods' world, I think.  Any powerful magic users are usually working for kings and queens."

Alex added, "There's also no magic academies here."

Lady Penelope replied, "It's too bad there's no magic academies around here. It would be extremely useful if there were and more people would be able to learn magic."

The chancellor added, "I agree and same goes for the gods' world. It would be more useful if they tried to learn more about science and technology."

Alex replied, "I think our worlds have been isolated for so long so we should establish communication and start building relationships with one another."

Eleanor added, "That would certainly help and I'd love to meet more people from the gods' world."

Lady Penelope and the chancellor agreed and a little later, it was getting closer to dinnertime. Lady Penelope said,

"It's almost dinnertime so I should make us all something to eat. We have an important evening tonight so we need to be ready and have strength."

Eleanor replied, "How about I help?  It'll take some of the work off of you, as I know you'll want to conserve your strength for tonight.  We should cook a delicious, plentiful meal for everyone."

Lady Penelope smiled gratefully to Eleanor and replied, "Yes, that would be quite kind of you. Let's go."

She got up and led the way to the kitchen so they could work together on a delicious dinner.

After Lady Penelope and Eleanor went into the kitchen to prepare dinner for everyone, Alex turned to Lycoris and said,

"I want you to enjoy Mom and Dad's company while I'm out, ok, Lycoris?  I know you'll be safe with them."

Lycoris smiled softly and patting Alex's hand gently, she said,

"Don't worry, of course I will be safe with mom and dad here and you take care of yourself, ok? I want you to be extremely careful. The mission is difficult but I trust you all and I know you're more than capable of finishing it successfully."

Alex smiled softly and replied, "Thanks, Lycoris.  Your words and confidence give me strength.  I'll return to you as soon as we get the shapeshifter back."

He looked on happily at Lycoris and Edward commented, "It's good to see you two together."

Lycoris blushed as she heard Edward's comment and continuing to smile, she said,

"I am quite happy to be with you all, especially you, dad, as well as mom and Alex of course. I couldn't have asked for more than your presence by my side."

The chancellor smiled and commented, "You have a very special family, Lycoris."
