Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "I can't wait."

She paused then said, "Can we check another station now? I'd love to check the fried noodles one. I am curious to how they make that."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Sure."

He thanked the chefs and then led the party towards the fried noodles station.  A couple of chefs had just finished boiling the noodles and were straining out the water when they noticed the group.  One of the chefs said, 

"Welcome.  We've just finished boiling the noodles and we're about ready to start frying and everything."

Lycoris looked quite curious and replied,

"Noodles are somewhat similar to spaghetti, right, although spaghetti isn't usually fried? I wonder how frying it changes the taste. Does it taste crispier or something?"

The chefs nodded in amazement at how Lycoris had guessed correctly and the second chef replied, "That's right, miss.  When we fry the noodles, along with the other ingredients and spices, they'll taste crispier and a bit harder than usual noodles but they'll be really tasty."

The first chef asked, "Would you like to taste a bit once the first batch is ready?"

Lycoris' eyes brightened with delight and curiosity and nodding happily, she said,

"If it would be no problem, I would love that. I've only tried fried rice before but I have no idea how fried noodles taste like so yes, I would love to try them very much."

The chef nodded happily and replied, "All right then, miss.  A special sample coming right up for you."

While the chefs proceeded to fry the noodles, Matthew turned to Lycoris and said, "The chefs sure do like you, Lycoris.  They wouldn't let just anyone sample their cooking."

Lycoris blushed a little and replied, "Really? It makes me happy to hear that. I sure hope that I am not disturbing them by being around while they work but I really love to know how everything is prepared especially when it's food that's new to me. I love trying out different tastes and such. I am glad they aren't feeling disturbed."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Awww not at all.  You're such a delight to be around that even if it were extremely busy in the kitchen, the chefs would still love to have you around.  Wouldn't you agree, my lady?"

He looked to Lady Penelope for her reply.

(Getting sleepy so I'll get off for the night and go to sleep.  I'll check back tomorrow and post again.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lady Penelope nodded happily and replied,

"Of course. Anyone would enjoy Lycoris' company and the chefs are no exception."

Lycoris blushed even more deeply and replied, "Thanks, everyone. You really flatter me with your words."

Matthew smiled softly at Lycoris and gazed at her happily while the chefs made the first batch of fried noodles.  They were soon finished and one of the chefs scooped a sample onto a small dish along with a fork.  He handed it to Lycoris and said,

"Here you are, miss.  I hope you like it."

Lycoris took the bowl of noodles from the chef and smiling happily, she said, "Thank you so much, sir."

She took a forkful of it and tasting it, a happy grin formed on her face. She said, "This is really yummy. It tastes different from spaghetti but quite delicious. You should totally taste it, Matt."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "All right."

One of the chefs gave a small bowl of noodles to Matthew and taking his fork, he took a bite and said,

"Yum, this is very tasty.  Would you like to try some, my lady?"

He looked to Lady Penelope.

(Had an exam in the morning but I am here now. XD)

Lady Penelope nodded happily and said, "Yes, I would love that. It looks quite yummy."

Lycoris said, "We can share, my lady. I think there's plenty in my bowl."

Lady Penelope nodded happily and she took a small bite of the noodles from Lycoris' bowl. She happily commented,

"Yup, indeed, it tastes quite nice."

The chefs smiled and one of them said, "We're pleased that it's to your liking.  We'll make sure to make plenty for everyone."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Thank you, sir and thank you for your efforts to have the food turn out so delicious."

She addressed Matthew and said, "How about we check the dessert station last? I don't want to disturb the chefs any longer but I really want to check how the chocolate pudding is made."

Matthew nodded happily and replied, "Sure, I'd love to check it out, too.  Let's go."

He gently held Lycoris' arm and then led the way towards the dessert station, where a chef was taking care of making the chocolate pudding.  He saw the group approach and nodding his head, he said,

"Welcome.  I just took out the ingredients for the pudding.  I'm about to put them in the bowl but, miss, would you like to help stir them?"

He looked to Lycoris.

Lycoris nodded happily and curiously asked,

"I would love that. What are the ingredients used to make the pudding, sir? I know chocolate will be one of them, of course, but what else?"

The chef replied, "Well, milk is the primary ingredient and we add a bit of sugar to make it sweet and a couple of other ingredients."

He added all of the ingredients, making sure that the amounts were correct, into a bowl and then he took out a whisk and placed it in a bowl.  He then handed the bowl and whisk to Lycoris and said,

"Just stir it in a circular motion and be gentle.  I'll watch and let you know when the pudding looks just right."

Lycoris nodded and after she took the bowl and the whisk from the chef, she started stirring in a circular motion, making sure to do so slowly and carefully so that nothing would fall out of the bowl.

The chef observed Lycoris' motions as she stirred the mixture and occasionally, he would instruct her on how to stir the pudding and such.  After a while, the chef was satisfied that the pudding looked ready and said,

"That was very good, miss.  You may stop now.  We'll pour the pudding into these little cups and then chill them until they're ready to be served."

Lycoris nodded happily and letting go of the bowl and the whisk, she happily said,

"So they're let to be cooled down in an icebox or something, right? I guess it's a cold dessert then?"

The chef nodded happily and replied, "Yup, that's right, miss.  We'll make sure that the pudding is in the icebox for long enough so that it's nice and cool for everyone to eat."

He took out the small serving cups for the pudding and turning to Lady Penelope, he asked,

"Would you like to pour the pudding into the cups, my lady?"

Lady Penelope nodded happily and said, "Sure thing."

She took the serving spoon and started pouring the pudding into the serving cups. In a little while, she was all done and said,

"Here we go, all finished."

The chef smiled softly and replied, "Thank you.  I'll take care of chilling the pudding and it'll be ready for dessert.  We'll make the hot chocolate once almost everyone has finished dinner since it won't take long to make it."

Matthew nodded and replied, "I understand.  That sounds fine.  I'm really looking forward to tonight's dinner and dessert."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied,

"Me too. Today we'll have a really wonderful dinner and desserts full of chocolate which makes me very happy."

Lady Penelope then said, "Well, we should take our leave then. We should let the chefs continue their work and all."
