Ideas for New RPs

Hi all,

I wasn't sure whether to post this thread here on in the Role Playing forum but I figured that more people will check here.

Anyway, I remembered that a couple of members have expressed interest in a new RP once the new site is up and all. That's perfectly understandable since the current RP has advanced a lot and it would be very difficult to catch up.

I'm trying to think of ideas for new RPs and I hope that members here will feel free to throw their ideas as well. What would you like the RPs to center around? So far, we've had ones surrounding fantasy and mystery but we could go into the modern era or we could even try a sci-fi one.

This will help a lot to come up with new RP threads once the new site is up and running so please feel free to contribute. ^^

What about some sort of modern era, school life themed one.
Ofcourse there might need to be some other detail to make it interesting.

I like the idea of a school-based RP. Kai did have a RP thread like that (although it had some fantasy aspects as well) but it ended up shutting down because some of the members became inactive.

I think that if we are to have new RPs once the new site is up and all, we should make it known that members who participate ought to be active enough to post in it. That's the only way to keep it going but what does everyone else think about that?

Yes, its true it didnt last kong because of the crazy-like plot, so if we did make a school rp i think it should be a modern japan setting

hiya, i have a idea but i don't know if you like it. well here goes, what about a fairy tale kind of RP. we start off with a fairytale book, then inside the book has different stories/chapters. with this kind of RP ones who would like to join on a later time could join in the next chapter. or something like that. what do you guys think? though i think it would be hard to manage.

I agree. I think the idea could work out very well. I'm not sure how the RP for it would go exactly but if someone were willing to take the reigns on it, that would be cool to try out. ^^

well i think we need someone active to manage it. and one who can think of different stories for the chapters. why don't you try PG?

I could try but I'm not really familiar with this kind of RP. Perhaps if someone were to post a link to an RP like this, I can take a look and see if I can start one up?

Ahh well, perhaps if you illustrate an example, that would be fine. I'm a bit stuck on how I'd get such an RP started.

well i was thinking like we create our modern day rp characters, that has normal lives and such, then we like have this story club and each of our rp characters tell different stories then here will the fairytale rp starts. we start off with the narrator listing the playable characters like the princess, the prince etc. etc. then we will like choose what role to take or something like that. did you understand anything i said? i think im a little confusing.

Let's make sure that we have enough members active to keep the RP going. I think that's most important but I do like the idea very much. ^^

Ahh Love made a post in the announcements area that she was planning on creating a new site and all. It's almost done so when it is, Love will make an announcement about it.

I think it's close to being finished. I got a sneak peek at the new site and it looks great.

Even though I am not part of this discussion, Aya, we will have to start new ones. Unfortunately, by forumotion's Term of Services, they own the forum databases and thus, they can't be moved.

oh that's sad. we like have memories and such in this threads.

I know but fortunately, these forums will not be deleted. They will be still on the same domain and everyone will be able to see and view them.

oh that's nice, it would be great to make new ones on the other site too. oh so when will the new site open? anytime this year?

Love has a few finishing touches to make to the new site but I think it'll be open before the end of this year. lol
