Romance RP

Helena nodded happily and the two of them headed back to the apartment where they could get their rest.

(Awww don't worry Ryan like that.   )

Ryan nodded and replied, "I know, Lycoris.  Please don't worry.  I'll talk to Sia about it once she wakes up and we'll take greater care."

Alex turned to Lycoris and getting an idea, he said, "You know, I have an idea that might cheer you up.  It's not quite lunchtime yet but my idea does involve using the kitchen.  What do you say?"

Once in the apartment, Fiona took off Helena's shoulder to fly around happily while Romeo also jumped off to play. Nathan looked gently at Mindy and said,

"Should I let you down as well so you can make yourself familiar with your home?"

Although Lycoris still felt distressed, she wondered what Alex's idea was and nodding, she said, 

"Okay. I'll do anything just to stay close to you."

Mindy meowed happily at Nathan, indicating that she wanted to explore their surroundings, too.  

Helena couldn't help but smile and said, "Awww you two look so incredibly adorable together."

Alex smiled and replied, "Ok."

He turned to the others and said, "We'll see you all later."

Ryan and Matthew nodded, and then Alex gently escorted Lycoris to the kitchen.  Along the way, he asked,

"You're probably wondering what my idea is?"

Nathan chuckled happily at Helena's comment and gently put Mindy on the ground so she could explore her surroundings with Romeo and Fiona. He turned to Helena and said,

"She's adorable. I mean, I've seen a lot of creatures in my world but I haven't seen anything as cute as she is."

Lycoris couldn't help but smile a bit and nodding, she said, 

"Yeah, I can't help but wonder. Are you going to tell me or will it be a surprise?"

Helena smiled and replied, "I am surprised to learn that there aren't similar creatures in the gods' world.  I mean, we have puppies here and the gods' world has puppies like Romeo.  And we also have birds in both worlds."

Alex replied, "I'll go ahead and tell you now in case you'd rather like something else.  But I was thinking that we could make chocolate chip cookies.  Cookies always cheer me up, so I thought maybe they'd cheer you up, too."

Nathan shrugged and looking thoughtful, he said, 

"Well, I guess there must be things that aren't in common? Perhaps we have creatures back in the gods' world that don't have counterparts in the humans' world. But anyways, I am lucky to have found Mindy. She's one of a kind."

Lycoris couldn't help but smile a little more and liking the idea of chocolate chip cookies, she said, 

"I'd like that very much actually. I remember how delicious chocolate cookies tasted. They were heavenly."

She paused then a bit tentatively, she asked, "Can I help? I mean, I don't know how useful I can be but surely there is something I can do to help out?"

Helena replied, "Awww, I think Mindy's the lucky one to have found you, my prince.  Well, I know I am the luckiest one to have found you."

She approached Nathan and happily wrapped her arms around his neck.

Alex nodded happily and replied, "Of course.  You can stir the ingredients together and help shape the cookies.  Those you can feel by hand."

The two of them had made their way into the kitchen, and Alex began gathering the ingredients for the cookies.

Nathan chuckled happily and wrapping his arms around Helena's waist lovingly, he gazed at her and said,

"Nah, I am the luckiest one to have found you. It was the happiest day of my life, you know."

Lycoris followed Alex to the kitchen and waited for him to take out the ingredients so she could help him prepare the cookies.

Helena smiled lovingly at Nathan and leaning in, she kissed him lovingly on the lips, pouring all of her love and passion into it.  She felt happy and loved being with Nathan, the two of them in their own world.

Alex finished taking out all the ingredients and materials.  Then he measured the ingredients and carefully put them in the mixing bowl.  Taking a mixing spoon, he put it in the bowl.  He approached Lycoris and said,

"Ok, the ingredients are all in the bowl.  You just need to stir them together until you feel the mixture is sticky."

He motioned her right hand as to how to mix the ingredients properly.

(I'm getting sleepy so I'll go ahead and get off for the night now but I'll post again tomorrow and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Nathan returned the kiss happily, wrapping his arms around Helena's waist and drawing her closer to him, pouring all his love into the kiss. She had become the most important person to him in the world and his everything, and he wanted nothing more but to have her always with him.

Lycoris nodded and replied, "Okay, I got it. I'll mix them all properly."

Using the mixing spoon, she mixed the ingredients carefully as Alex had shown her, wanting to be as helpful as possible.

Helena and Nathan continued to kiss for a few more sweet, loving moments and once the kiss was over, Helena happily said,

"I'll never get tired of kissing you, my prince."

While Lycoris was mixing the ingredients, Alex took out a flat baking pan and then spread butter on it so that the cookies wouldn't stick while they would bake in the oven.  

Once he was done, he went back to check on Lycoris, to see how she was doing.

Nathan happily replied, "And I'll never tire of kissing you, either."

Meanwhile, Romeo and Fiona had returned and Romeo barked at the couple and wagged his tail, wondering where his treat was for doing well at the lesson.

Lycoris had already mixed the ingredients in the mixing bowl, making sure that the mixture is sticky and had blended well. She said,

"I-I think I am done? Are they mixed well?"

Mindy followed Fiona and Romeo, having explored the apartment, and she meowed happily at the couple.

Helena noticed all three of them and giggling, she said,

"Awww we should give them their treats.  I did say so, after all."

Alex looked at the mixture and nodding, he said,

"Yup, it's perfect.  You did very well, Lycoris.  Now, we're going to make small cookie balls from the mixture."

He grabbed a little of the mixture and placed it in Lycoris' hands.  Then he demonstrated with her how the balls should be shaped and what size.

Nathan chuckled and replied, "We got distracted kissing each other and forgot these little ones, heh? Let me find the treats for you."

He reached out to the items they had just bought and found a bag of treats for Romeo, Fiona and Mindy. He then got their food bowls and placed a little of the treats for each of them, and the pets went happily to eat.

Lycoris concentrated as Alex showed her how to shape the cookies and once he was finished, she nodded with a determined look and said, "Ok. I'll take care of it."

She took a bit of the mixture and started to shape the cookies, following Alex's instructions closely so the cookies were neat and of a suitable size.

Helena smiled as she watched Fiona, Romeo, and Mindy eat and she said,

"We have a wonderful family, don't we?"

As Lycoris shaped the cookie dough into balls, Alex would take them from her and place them on the tray, making sure to space them out evenly.

Nathan smiled softly and nodding, he said, 

"We sure do now. It's a small, lovely family and we'll make it grow."

He winked flirtatiously at Helena.

Lycoris continued shaping the dough and creating the cookies then she would hand to Alex. She was soon all finished as the dough was over.

Helena blushed and looked forward to the prospect of making their family grow.  As they watched their pets eat, Helena said,

"So we'll relax for a bit and then what do you want to do, Nathan?  Should I make lunch here for us?"

Once Alex placed all the cookie balls that Lycoris handed it to him on the tray, he carefully placed the tray into the oven that had been preheated.

Then he returned to Lycoris and said,

"Ok, now we just have to wait a bit while the cookies bake.  I'll go take care of the clean up meanwhile."

Nathan nodded happily and replied,

"What do you think? I love your cooking but if you want us to eat out, I don't have the slightest problem."

Lycoris smiled a bit and nodded to Alex as they waited for the cookies to bake. As he went to take care of the clean up and she waited in place, she quietly said,

"At least I can talk now. It was as though there was a barrier that prevented me from speaking."

Helena looked thoughtful and replied, "I'd love for cook for us.  What are you in the mood for, my prince?  I could make us some stir fry or sandwiches.  We should probably have something light."

Alex looked at Lycoris, having heard what she said, and he replied,

"I kind of figured that.  So now it's not a struggle to speak?"

Nathan looked thoughtful and replied,

"I'd like sandwiches. That would be light and delicious. Maybe we can have grilled cheese sandwiches and buttermilk-fried sandwiches? Could you make us that, love?"

Lycoris shook her head slowly and quietly replied,

"No, not really. I think when that happened a little ago, it kind of broke down that barrier? It was kind of an emotional barrier after all."

Helena nodded happily and replied, "Sure, I can do that.  And we could also have a bit of fresh fruit and some milk.  What do you think?"

Alex had finished cleaning up and taking a seat beside Lycoris, he nodded and replied, "Yes, that does make sense.  Well, it's a good thing you can speak again.  I think the others were getting worried about you being so quiet."

Nathan nodded happily and replied,

"Sounds wonderful. I can't wait till you make them, love. Your cooking is the best I've ever eaten or maybe it is because I love you so much that anything you make it is just wonderful for me?"

Lycoris nodded slowly but she replied,

"I was worried about that but I was more worried about frustrating you with my silence. I know you say that you don't mind but I-I can't help feeling like I am a burden at all times. I try to be helpful but I end up making everything worse."

She hanged her down, feeling ashamed.

Helena giggled and replied, "Awww perhaps it's both, my prince?  But I'm happy that you like my cooking.  In the meantime, let's relax in the living room."

She held Nathan's hand and led the way to the couch where they could cuddle.

Alex immediately reached out for Lycoris' hand and giving it a gentle squeeze, he said,

"Hey, don't you ever think that, ok?  You're never a burden to me.  I know how difficult things have been for you and I'm not ever going to be angry at you.  You know that, don't you?"

Nathan followed Helena to the coach and helped her sit down on the coach then took a seat by her side. He wrapped his arms around her waist and holding her close, he said, 

"You know, I love these moments the most."

Lycoris nodded slowly and quietly replied, "I-I do but I know they are difficult for you too and I wanted to be of help to you too, not worry you all the time."

She paused then quietly said, "Can I ask you a question? But answer me honestly?"

Helena smiled lovingly at Nathan and replied, "Aww, me, too, Nathan, me, too.  Just sitting here next to you, being in your company, I couldn't ask for anything more."

She laid her head gently on Nathan's shoulder.

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, of course.  What do you want to ask me?"
