Romance RP

Alex took a breath and as calmly as he could, he told them all that he could find out about where Nerine and Helena were.  He said,

"They were in the human world but now they're most likely in the gods' world.  We talked to Duke Collins.  He seems to be involved although he claimed he had no knowledge that Lycoris would die once the captain takes her powers.  He just wanted to get her away from us."

Helena replied, "I can go on.  Can you teach me something else?"

Lisianthus was quite angered as she knew of Duke Collins's association with the whole thing, and groaning, she said, "I'll definitely have a talk with that Duke. He must know more than that. How else is he helping the captain?"

The chancellor said, "It could be that he's only providing him with soldiers but the captain is keeping certain things from him. He doesn't easily trust others."

The captain nodded and replied, "Let's teach you something about wind magic this time. You can summon a wind tornado as an attack or even under your feet to give you a lift upwards. Close your eyes and concentrate; we want just a small one to knock this dummy out."

He summoned an enemy dummy not too far then gave Helena her distance to summon the tornado.

Ryan shook his head and replied, "I always knew that duke was a good for nothing."

He looked to Lisianthus and asked, "So what's the plan?  We need to find out where Nerine is first, right?"

Helena nodded and she focused on creating a small wind tornado.  It formed from her right hand and then she aimed it towards the enemy dummy, knocking it off its feet.

Lisianthus looked deep in thought and replied, "Yes, obviously, that's the idea but we need to know where to start. We could look where Duke Collins hinted the captain might be although I have my doubts. If the captain doesn't truly trust the duke to tell him everything, he wouldn't make his hideout so close by to his mansion."

Lady Penelope sighed and replied, "It wouldn't hurt to look there just in case. I don't think we have any other clues at the moment."

The captain summoned another enemy dummy, although this time, it was higher up in the air. He said,

"Now try to create a larger wind tornado under your feet. It should lift you to this dummy's level, then you are free to attack it however you wish."

He knew this was a harder challenge as this would require Helena to concentrate on two spells at once, but he wanted to push her to her best.

Alex nodded and replied, "Yes, there might be some clues."

Ryan looked thoughtful and added, "We should explore it, at least, beautiful, and then we can figure out what to do next."

Helena nodded and then she concentrated, creating a large wind tornado under her feet.  Then she directed it to go higher and higher until she reached the enemy dummy's level.  Once there, she stayed level enough to attack the enemy dummy with her fists, knocking it over.  However, she then felt the wind tornado dissipate under her feet and she was falling.

(I have work today so my next post probably won't be until I get back tonight.  XD)

(No problem. I'll post now then post again when I can. XD)

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Since we have no other options, we'll go there and investigate at least. Is everyone ready? If yes, we should move immediately."

The captain was alarmed as he saw the wind tornado dissipate under Helena's feet and he rushed to where she was standing, catching her in his arms just in time.

Looking with concern at her, he asked, "Are you alright?"

(I'll be going out really soon but I'll make this post now before doing so.  ^^)

Alex nodded and standing up, he said, "I'm ready.  We need to get my darling back right away.  She was in so much pain, and I need to get her away from that captain."

Helena blushed and nodding, she replied, "I'm ok.  I guess I pushed myself too much."

She then realized that the captain was holding her in his arms although she certainly didn't mind.

(Coolies. ^^)

Lisianthus nodded and got up, as did Lady Penelope and the chancellor. Lisianthus said,

"We have Melody with us and I can ask the soldiers to lend us a couple of pegasi. We'll need to head to a clearing in the forest to go back to the gods' world."

The captain continued to hold Helena in his arms and smiling slyly at her, he said,

"I guess you did, or maybe you wanted me to hold you like so?"

(Just got back in.  I have some things to take care of but I'll make this post now.  ^^)

Alex nodded, and Ryan looked to Lisianthus and said,

"You lead, beautiful."

Helena blushed even more and replied, "Well, I certainly don't mind."

She wrapped her arms around the captain's neck and gave him a sly smile.

(Coolies. It's a little busy at the pharmacy today but I will post whenever I can. XD)

Lisianthus nodded and led the way out of the office then out of the building. There, Melody was waiting as well as some of Lisianthus' other soldiers. She asked two of them to lend her their pegasi and they did as told.

She looked to Alex and said, "You know how to fly a pegasus, right?"

The captain smirked and leaned in for a quick kiss, then putting Helena down on ground, he said,

"That's enough for today. I don't want to push you too much."

(Ahh ok.  XD)

Alex nodded confidently and replied, "Yup, I do."

He remembered way back when he and Nerine took a pegasus and the memory felt bittersweet to him.

Helena nodded and replied, "I understand.  What should we do now then?"

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Okay then. You'll have your own pegasus to ride then."

Lady Penelope spoke up, "I don't really know how to fly one so can I ride behind you, darling?"

She looked to Alex for an answer.

The captain looked more serious and said, "Well, I am waiting for any contact from that human. Hearing his wife plead him for help seems to have shaken him somehow, but I haven't heard anything from him yet."

Alex nodded and replied, "Of course, my lady."

Ryan waited for Lisianthus to get on Melody and then he got on next.

Helena looked thoughtful and replied, "If I were him, I'd be pleading with the others to exchange Lycoris for his wife.  He may be having difficulty in doing so.  But I'm sure he'll find a way to get Lycoris to you."

(Today is my day off so I should be on more although I have a few things to take care of first and all. XD)

Lisianthus got on Melody while Lady Penelope got on the other pegasus behind Alex. The chancellor had a pegasus of his own to ride.

As the whole party was ready, Lisianthus took the lead, taking Melody to air and leading the way towards the forests.

The captain replied, 

"We'll see about that. There wasn't a time when they were truly ready to do that. They always try to find a way around to avoid giving up the girl. But if they stall too much, we can always contact Lycoris herself. She is a lot weaker mentally and will break down easily if I make her hear her sister's cries in pain."

(Ok, that's cool.  XD)

Ryan held onto Lisianthus' waist as she continued to lead the party.  Alex followed closely behind on his pegasus, all the while hoping that they would be able to find some clues on Nerine's whereabouts.

Helena nodded and replied, "Yes, that's true.  Well, I think it's best to wait a bit.  That Alex really does care about his wife and he'll do whatever it takes to get her back."

(Free now. XD)

The party flew to the forests and soon Lisianthus found a clearing where they could land and she would summon the portal to the gods' world. She led the way down and once all pegasi were on ground, she got off Melody as did everyone else off their pegasi.

Taking a deep breath, she cast a couple of spells and the portal to the gods' world was summoned in front of them.

The captain looked at Helena with a little curiosity and said,

"How long have you known them? You know, it's a little strange I never asked, but I still don't know what your connection to all of them is."

(Nice.  XD)

Alex saw the portal appear before them and said,

"Ok, let's go.  I hope we can find clues to get my darling back.  I-I can't imagine how much she must be hurting right now."

Ryan replied, "We'll get her back.  We won't stop until we do."

Helena replied, "I am surprised that you didn't ask now until now, but to answer your question, my mother works for that man who knocked you out."

She looked a little embarrassed as she mentioned the latter part, but she didn't want to lie to the captain.

Lisianthus nodded and giving a comforting look to Alex, she said, "That's for sure. We won't leave you alone through this, Alex. Nerine will be back."

She led the way through the portal and the party followed through, leading their pegasi as well. They arrived in the forests near Duke Collins' mansion directly, as Lisianthus had adjusted the portal so.

The captain looked a little annoyed from the way Helena put it, but it happened so he couldn't complain. Raising an eyebrow, he said,

"And who is that man? Come to think of it, it's also my first time seeing him. He was never in their company before now."

Once the party were in the forests, Ryan turned to Lisianthus and asked,

"So what's the plan, beautiful?  Should we split up to cover more ground and find clues or should we stick together, for safety in numbers?"

Helena replied,

"His name is Matthew.  He's a friend of that Alex.  I'm not sure how Lycoris came to stay with him.  I don't know the details.  But anyway, Matthew is the town doctor."

Lisianthus looked thoughtful for a moment then said, "We split but if any of us finds anything, we don't make a move until we let the others know. Ryan, you and I will go east, and the others will head west. We need to cover the whole forest and look for any clues. Caves or any place fit to be a hideout will be investigated thoroughly. Even if the captain isn't making a hideout here now, he might have been in the past so there will be clues lying around anywhere."

The captain looked thoughtful and said, "So you came around to find that party staying with that Matthew in his home? You don't know how that came to be?"

Ryan nodded and replied, "Yup, that sounds good."

Alex nodded and added, "Let's do this."

Inwardly, he hoped that one of them would be able to find something in regards to the captain's whereabouts.

Helena looked thoughtful and shaking her head, she replied,

"I really am clueless about that.  Occasionally, I would visit my mother and during one of those visits, I suddenly found and met that party.  I never knew the details of how they came to be there.  Matthew's place rarely gets visitors who stay for a while."

(Getting sleepy now so I'm going to get off for the night but I'll post again tomorrow before I go out and all.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lisianthus nodded and replied, "Good. We'll stay in contact but in any case, we meet here again in an hour. Good luck, everyone. Let's go find that captain and teach him a lesson."

She motioned to Ryan to follow her and she got on Melody and waited for him to get behind. But she didn't fly, and led the way on land through the forests so they could have a closer look.

The captain was thinking things thoroughly, trying to put everything together. He said,

"Well, you say that he is a friend of that Alex, so they could have asked for his help to hide in his place."

He paused then something occurring to him, he furrowed his eyebrows and said, "Your mother probably thinks you're kidnapped now."

Ryan held onto Lisianthus as they explored their part of the forest.  Meanwhile, Alex got back on his pegasus and after Lady Penelope and the chancellor were ready, he took the lead and headed towards their part of the forest, looking for any clues.

Helena nodded, looking sad, and replied, "Yes, she must be worried about me.  I wish I could tell her what's going on, but I know and understand that I can't."

Lisianthus and Ryan continued to ride through the forests, exploring and looking through every corner for anything that might help. As they did, Lisianthus commented,

"I really hope we do find anything. I am not sure what we would do next if we didn't."

The captain was silent for a moment, then he said,

"I can let you contact her for a few minutes, to just let her know that you're okay and that you'll be away for a while, without making any explanations."
