Romance RP

Lycoris blushed a bit more but quickly continuing to smile confidently, she then grinned and said, 

"Well, of course I am. I totally know that and I am quite confident about it."

Matthew chuckled softly and replied, "Confidence is very good and you're very beautiful when you wear it."

He winked at her even though he knew that Lycoris wouldn't be able to see him do so.

Lycoris continued blushing and felt the blue roses for a little longer, before she said, 

"Ok, we should go on our way now, right? We don't want to leave the horse too long by itself."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, that's true."

He got up and helped Lycoris get up and then they walked back to where the horse was resting.  He got back on the horse and helped Lycoris to get back on behind him and then they continued their run through the countryside.

Lycoris held on to Matthew as he started riding again through the countryside, enjoying the air and wind against their skin.

As the couple continued to travel, Matthew asked,

"Lycoris, how are you enjoying the countryside?  Do you love the feel of the wind as we're riding like this?"

Lycoris smiled and nodding, she replied,

"Most definitely. It feels so thrilling and exciting, you know? I wish I could ride on my own as well and see the road before me, so I can be able to enjoy it all."

Matthew replied, "Once I help you restore your eyesight, we can have you learn how to ride a horse.  It's actually pretty easy.  The most important thing is that you have confidence when you're riding a horse because if it knows you're afraid, it's harder to control it.  But I know that you have plenty of confidence."

Lycoris grinned confidently and replied,

"Then I will learn pretty fast. I definitely won't be afraid but you better be a good teacher too."

She sticked her tongue out to him teasingly.

Matthew chuckled and replied, "Oh I will be.  You'll learn from me in no time."

He winked at her and they continued to ride, enjoying their trip through the countryside.

(I'm getting sleepy now so I'll get off for the night and go to sleep but I'll post again tomorrow before I go out for work.  Nite, nite, Love.  ^^)

Lycoris continued enjoying the ride, holding on tightly to Matthew. She had to admit inwardly that she was enjoying his company very much and she loved feeling free and that she could do things on her own, without being thought just as an annoying fake personality.

As the couple continued to ride through the countryside, Matthew would describe the sights to Lycoris, pointing out how green the grass under their feet was and how beautiful their surroundings were.  It was relatively quiet as they traveled, just the two of them.

(Sorry I am only commenting just now. We had to go out in the morning yesterday and afterwards I had to head to work so I was pretty exhausted when I came back and all. But I can post now as normal. ^^)

Lycoris continued to enjoy her time and she would comment on everything Matthew described to her. As they went on on their journey, she said,

"So is Devenshire always so quiet and peaceful? No uneventful things happen at all?"

(Ahh no worries.  ^^  I wasn't in such a good mood yesterday so it's just as well.  Feeling better today, though.  ^^)

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yeah, that's usually the case.  I mean, a long time ago, there was a lot of conflict here but now that the kingdom's stable and we have a wonderful king and queen, there aren't any problems here.  It's kind of rare."

Lycoris nodded in understanding and replied, 

"I see. That makes it pretty safe around here but it might be also boring, right?"

(Thanks.  ^^  In case you're wondering why I was in a bad mood yesterday, I got poked for chatting on Steam even though I put my status on busy and I posted my status, stating that I wouldn't be up for chatting until this weather lets up.  Also, doing the editing for the site I'm working for is getting stressful since the other editor who is supposed to do it as well has been sick and the reviewers have been greedy on their special requests.  If we weren't getting so many articles to edit, it wouldn't be an issue but yeah, they're being greedy.  If it's the owners making requests, of course, I wouldn't have an issue but when it's regular reviewers and they always get to keep the games they review while I have to just be lucky to get whatever I can get, then yeah.  But I've figured out how to deal with those reviews as well.  Anything that asks for special requests, unless they're priority and need to be put up asap, is going to be low on my list of reviews to edit.  )

Matthew looked thoughtful and replied, "Yeah, I suppose so but I guess the people here prefer the peace and quiet."

(I see. Yup, I guess that's the best way of dealing with it. XD)

Lycoris replied, "And what do you prefer? Do you like things to be always peaceful and quiet, or do you like a little action every once in a while?"

(Yup.  XD)

Matthew replied, "I wouldn't mind if things got exciting every once in a while although I wouldn't want to see anyone get hurt.  I get the feeling that you like excitement, too, or am I wrong?"

Lycoris grinned and nodding, she said, 

"Most definitely. If everything was always so quiet and peaceful, things would get pretty boring, wouldn't it? So yup, a little action is definitely in need every once in a while."

Matthew grinned and replied, "Yup, I can certainly see your point.  No wonder you want to travel a lot."

Lycoris nodded happily and replied, "Of course. I want to travel as much as possible and see a lot of things around the world, experience new things and all that. I wouldn't want to just stay in one place and lead a routine life."

Matthew nodded and replied, "Yes, I can certainly understand that.  Well, you know, I hope we can travel together.  I do go to lots of places around the human world and I'd love to show it all to you."

Lycoris smiled slyly as she replied,

"Well, really? You know, I would love that very much but you have work here to attend to, right? Would you be able to leave your patients for a while to travel with me?"

Matthew replied, "I don't think it'd be a problem.  I mean, Dad is still practicing and there are a couple of other doctors here in Devenshire as well.  People say that I'm one of the best but it'd be fine if I were absent for a while.  Besides, I think traveling with you would be quite the adventure, wouldn't you say?"

Lycoris continued smiling slyly and replied, 

"I suppose so but I hope the people around here won't go after me for taking you away from them. They might say that I am taking away all your attention."
